This is hands-down the best hotel in Anji! Tucked away amidst bamboo forests and tea plantations, the hotel is surrounded by mountains on three sides. Open your window to breathtaking views of green hills, misty clouds, rice paddies, and bamboo groves – a truly healing natural landscape and a perfect secluded paradise. The overall design exudes quality, with a Zen-inspired style born from renovated old villages. Every corner offers a picturesque scene, full of charm, making every snapshot look like a masterpiece. The rooms are spacious, clean, and elegantly arranged, with high-end, comprehensive facilities. The hygiene is meticulously maintained, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderfully restful stay. The butler-style service is incredibly thoughtful and warm, with staff who are gentle and attentive, paying close attention to every detail. They even thoughtfully provide complimentary goodnight sweet soup and seasonal fruits. The restaurant's dishes are fresh and authentic, made with local, organic ingredients, and the taste is superb – definitely no misses here. There's also an infinity pool, tea room, and book bar, among many other leisure amenities. It's quiet and serene, perfect for escaping the city hustle, relaxing, and clearing your mind. It's ideal for both couples and families. This place has definitely made it onto my 'must-revisit' list. Highly recommend!

The homestay experience is great! The room was clean and tidy, and the living was particularly comfortable. The boss is attentive and caring, and can respond in time if there is a need. The home-cooked dishes made by Grandma taste great, the ingredients are fresh and fragrant, and the food is super satisfying! The water quality of the Suxi camp around the homestay is crystal clear, and the water is super comfortable. It is too suitable for summer. It is highly recommended!

It snowed on our second morning, which was incredibly lucky! The staff, especially one young man, was so warm and thoughtful. He proactively helped us with our luggage during check-in and check-out, and almost every other small request we had was met with a 'yes'. In the evenings, there was a bonfire and roasted marshmallows, making for a superb experience. The scenery and environment are beyond words; every photo looks like it's straight out of a magazine. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance!

KE GAMER

Travelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed! We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving. One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home. Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

Banyan Tree Anji

Banyan Tree Anji is a secluded haven nestled amidst bamboo forests and tea mountains. The traditional Huizhou-style architecture, with its white walls and dark tiles, is gracefully arranged and blends seamlessly with the distant green hills and misty air. Waking up and opening the window, you're greeted by vibrant greenery and the tranquil sounds of birdsong. As night falls, the courtyard lights glow softly, and a soak in the mountain hot spring melts away all weariness. What truly touches the heart is the impeccable Banyan Tree service – from the warm cup of Anji white tea offered by the butler upon check-in, to the thoughtfully placed sleep-inducing aromatherapy during turndown service, every detail is perfectly executed. The restaurant meticulously selects local seasonal ingredients, transforming the flavors of the wild into exquisite dishes. This isn't just a simple stay; it's a healing journey, pampered by nature and warmed by genuine hospitality. I will certainly return again soon.

For work reasons, I chose Manwanhua. The environment was exceptional, and I felt like I was on vacation. The tea plantations and buildings coexist harmoniously, and the infinity pool, reflecting the Metasequoia trees, creates a modern, stylish atmosphere. The housekeeping was proactive, responsive, and welcoming. The coffee was excellent, and the metal fence around the pool was a creative way to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. In the evening, the breeze blew, and gazing at the stars was a relaxing experience.

I had a really nice stay at Little Forest Guesthouse. Sam, the manager, was super helpful the whole time. His English was great, and he made everything easy for us. We arrived pretty late, around 9:20 PM, and he still waited to help us check in, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was tasty, and the service felt genuine and friendly. The place itself is quiet, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful views. I’m very happy with the stay and would definitely come back again. Sam provided us with good information and ideas for our Trip around Anji

From the moment I walked in, I felt incredibly well taken care of. The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming during check-in, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the room layout was well-designed with fantastic natural light. The hotel's location is super convenient, making getting around a breeze. All the facilities are top-notch – the laundry room, gym, and self-service breakfast area are all very well maintained. The breakfast selection was extensive and delicious. The service throughout my stay was exceptional; any request was promptly handled. The value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

Our stay at Jiucun Yunting in Anji far exceeded our expectations this time! We specifically chose a mountaintop room with a prime view directly facing the canyon – the panoramic scenery was breathtaking! The guesthouse amenities were comprehensive. We enjoyed paddleboarding in the infinity pool, and spent a relaxing afternoon lounging with drinks, capturing stunning photos of the canyon and pool. The basement level offered billiards, table tennis, a gym, and mahjong, catering to everyone in the family, from young to old. The cliff swing and flower house were perfect for photos, creating an amazing ambiance. There were even deer in the yard that the kids loved feeding. Our room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The tranquil mountain environment allowed even light sleepers to get a peaceful night's rest. It was a fantastic experience, and we're definitely coming back to Anji Jiucun Yunting this summer!

The hotel is located on the mountaintop and has an exclusive VIP通道 (VIP access). Staff are on hand to help with luggage when going up or down to the rooms, and there's a dedicated hotel shuttle service everywhere. The service is excellent, saving a lot of effort for moms traveling with kids. Our butler was also very thoughtful, offering recommendations for the area and helpful tips, and promptly responded to any requests. The skiing experience during our stay was great, the artificial snow was fantastic. The ski resort is quite spacious, and there are many surrounding entertainment options, which kept the kids happy. The room had floor heating, a novel design, and the cleanliness was also good. The only drawback was the limited number of elevators, requiring some backtracking. But we would definitely come back again.
