"This was my first time encountering an issue when booking a hotel abroad. I arrived at the Capital Centre Arjaan by Rotana in Abu Dhabi after 9 PM. Check-in was smooth. Upon entering the room, I noticed it was newly renovated, with a strong smell of construction materials, even though the Ctrip homepage stated it was renovated in 2023. I immediately contacted customer service to resolve the issue, but since it was already past midnight, I couldn't book another room for that night. Ctrip's customer service was quite responsible. The agent I spoke with, Xiao Cheng, was a girl who was very capable at problem-solving. She helped me find a nearby hotel and asked me to pay for it first, with the understanding that I would negotiate with the platform later. Overall, I'd give the handling process a 7 out of 10, as the information displayed on the platform was indeed incorrect. However, this hotel has now changed its renovation year to 2025. I paid over 1000 AED for my stay, but the usual price is only around 500 AED. I hope everyone pays attention and doesn't overpay; this hotel's price is not worth over 1000 AED. If I have the chance to visit Abu Dhabi again in the future, I will still choose to book my rooms through Ctrip!"

"Hotel environment and facilities: The room faced the palace directly, offering an amazing view. Next to it was the Etihad Towers, where 'Fast & Furious 7' was filmed near this hotel. The gym had plenty of equipment and was rarely crowded. The room was tidy and clean, the service was excellent, and the internet speed was super fast. Transportation: There's a shuttle bus to Yas Island's theme parks, running twice a day. The palace and presidential palace are within walking distance. Taxis to the Grand Mosque and the Louvre Abu Dhabi take about 20 minutes and cost around 40 AED. Dining: The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and tasted good. The club lounge was just okay; the selection was a bit limited. Although it's accessible from 11 AM to 11 PM, I went in once in the afternoon and could only get drinks and biscuits."

"I appreciate the customer service. The room was neat and tidy. All thou pool facility wasn't available, rest all facilities were great. Housekeeping, concierge service and the reception staff, everyone displayed great professionalism and it's highly commendable. We had booked breakfast as well, restaurants maintained their standard. The food and services were great. Taste was great and there were good choices of food. Go ahead and book your stay there. ❤️"

"The front desk is tiny, and so is the lobby. The Starbucks in the lobby is actually bigger than the front desk. I had to wait for a room inspection before checking out, which is something I haven't experienced in many years. The bathroom is really old-fashioned. The hairdryer and magnifying mirror are installed incredibly high – you'd need to be at least 180cm tall to use them comfortably. And to top it off, there were mosquitoes at night! I barely got any sleep."

"The stay was decent considering the price, but I believe there are better options available in the same range. The rooms were noticeably small, especially if you are traveling with multiple bags or planning a longer stay. One thing that was disappointing was the lack of luggage assistance service, which would have been helpful during check-in and check-out. On the positive side, the location is convenient, with plenty of markets, cafes, and restaurants nearby, making it easy to find food and basic necessities. The pool area was good and well-maintained, but it was quite crowded because of the holiday season, so it was difficult to fully relax and enjoy the facilities. Another downside was that basic toiletries like toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided in the room. When we requested them, the staff informed us that they were available only at an extra charge, which was unexpected for a hotel stay. Overall, the experience was average not bad, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of service and room comfort."

"This was an absolutely wonderful hotel. We stayed for 5 nights. Staff, from the concierge, to the doorman, to the cleaners were all polite and friendly. Breakfast was a good spread. They treat you like a VIP whereever you go. Room was clean and service was prompt. We were greeted by Saleh at the reception counter, he was a very friendly and helpful, knows who we were and greeted us by our names everytime we passed by the counter. Connectivity to Abu Dhabi mall is also a big win. The location has a few more authentic restaurants if you care to venture a bit further. Al Aqsa a place that sells only Kunafah and baklava is only 10 mins walk away. We went there every night."

"For its price, this hotel is really quite good. It's in the city center, has a pool, and the staff are friendly. However, if you're looking for a resort experience, the hotel's location can be a bit tricky to find because there's ongoing construction right in front, blocking the entrance, which makes it hard for taxis to locate. Plus, there's no shuttle bus, making travel to the airport and Yas Island very inconvenient. If you plan to visit Yas Island, I'd recommend taking a taxi to the first stop of the Yas Island shuttle bus's Downtown line, otherwise, it'll be full by the second stop. The cost of a round-trip taxi to Yas Island could easily pay for a stay at a much better hotel. Therefore, I suggest the hotel consider adding a shuttle bus service."

"Excellent hotel. The staff are polite and always happy to help with any queries. The rooms are good and spacious. The windows don't open, but in January, even with the AC off, the temperature was comfortable – neither cold nor hot. The ventilation system worked well. We slept great; the mattresses were good and not worn out. Breakfast was a bit sparse, but you won't go hungry. There's a Burger King on the other side of the hotel building. The beach is a 30-minute walk away, and on the way, there's a WTC mall with a McDonald's."

GGuest UserThis hotel is located within the Etihad Towers complex, famous as a filming location for 'Fast & Furious 7.' It offers stunning views of the eight-star Emirates Palace Hotel and the Presidential Palace, especially from the hotel's 74th-floor observation deck, which provides a beautiful 360-degree panorama of Abu Dhabi. The lobby features a high-ceiling design and live piano music in the evenings, creating an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. The large pool connects directly to the beach, with two or three restaurants conveniently located nearby, adding to the comfort. The guest rooms are situated on higher floors and are quite spacious. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer uninterrupted views of the sea and the buildings across the way. The service is warm and meticulous. Staff proactively greet you and are always ready to help with luggage or call a taxi. They truly strive to assist with any request you might have. Walking to the Presidential Palace takes about 15 to 20 minutes, which was very convenient for us, being seniors. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes. Highlights include fresh-squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, propolis, and a DIY chocolate skewer station, which was fantastic. The hotel's Italian restaurant serves authentic cuisine. The pizzas, baked fresh in a stone oven, were exceptionally delicious (unaffected by the strong flavors sometimes found in Middle Eastern cuisine). We ended up dining there twice.

SSam.TOur family had a pleasant three-night stay at VOGO Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa from 29 December to 1 January, enjoying the comfortable facilities and beautiful golf course surroundings. Overall, it was a positive experience with a few areas that could be improved. The hotel provides valet parking, which is very convenient, especially when traveling with children and luggage. Most staff we encountered were polite and helpful, although service quality can feel inconsistent at times. One minor disappointment was the check-in experience: the receptionist shook her body in a dismissive way while speaking to us, which did not match the professional standards expected of a five-star hotel. Our room was spacious and generally clean, with the highlight being the lovely golf club view from the window, which made our stay feel relaxing and resort-like. Cleanliness was acceptable, with housekeeping keeping the room in reasonable condition, though not outstanding compared with some other luxury properties. On the first day, the pump of the shower gel dispenser was not working, which was inconvenient after a long day.After we left a note for the hotel on the second morning, the issue was fixed promptly, and the dispenser worked properly for the rest of the stay, showing that the team is responsive once informed. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options including Middle Eastern and international fusion dishes that suited both adults and children. A special thanks to Ms. Getrude at the restaurant: she was very caring toward our child, spoke to her warmly, and even remembered our daughter’s name on the second day, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. Overall, this resort offers a relaxing golf-view environment, convenient valet parking, and a good breakfast selection, making it a comfortable choice for families. With some refinement in front-desk attitude and more attention to small in-room maintenance issues, it has the potential to deliver a consistently five-star experience.

Amenities wise, it was really upsetting that the adult-only pool was too full so we got rejected and had to use the family pool. And next to the family pool, there was a really loud construction happening so it wasn't a relaxing time by the pool.

GGuest UserI stayed there with my friend. Never stay at room 913, we had so much little problems In the room. We liked food, very kind staff. But hotel need to renovate some rooms I guess. We have been at our friends room on three second floor, and his room was super nice, cozy and DRY. Our room was wet all the time. Even bed set got wet, and there was a musty, moldy smell

GGuest UserThe room was great, and the price was very reasonable. The bathroom was also good. The location is decent, with a Chinese supermarket and a small Chinese restaurant not too far away. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and even upgraded me to a suite for free. It was a really pleasant experience overall.

HHera SzSwimming pool is heated which is fantastic to enjoy in the evening . Breakfast is amazing which huge variety of options such as western , Asian and Indian food. Sauna and gym are really good and very pleasant stay in Abu Dhabi. Front desk gentleman who checked us is was amazing , very helpful and kind . If you plan to use public transportation to Ferrari World and Warner Bros , take bus 102 or 184 but… buses are so crowded anytime . There is a shuttle bus to Yas Marina but it only pick the people at11:00 am which means arriving in the park afternoon and it will be crowded . Arrive earlier to the parks because rides can take up to 2 hours such as Formula Rossa . Best to stay in Abu Dhabi first and then go to dubai .

LLeny NinguiThe hotel is located in a very convenient area,up on my arrival is was received very professionally,the valet gentleman guided me to reception ,the gentleman that assisted me at reception was very professional and knew exactly what he was doing ,my booking confirmation didn't take long ,the valet assistant escorted me to my room . To be honest ,the room was not properly cleaned as it still had dirty dustbins in the room and toilet,didn't seem like the beddings was changed as I was scratching the whole night and since I booked for only one night ,I really didn't have the energy to call housekeeping to change my bedding,the room had carpet and it didn't look like the carpet is regularly clean,the room had an unpleasant smell The bathroom towels were dirty and unchanged so I opted not to use them , the bathroom floor was filthy as well. The air conditioning kept blowing dirty air so I opted to switch it off to avoid getting sick , don't know if the air conditioning is regularly cleaned or maintained. Since my car was parked at valet and I want to drive out so I went to reception gave my vehicle ticket for the valet assistant to bring my car ,at that moment there were many people checking in , instead of him bring my car out ,he insisted that I go get my vehicle in the basement,I told him I don't even know we're the basement is but he was aggressive and said it's easy in a loud voice,just go to the basement you will see your car,that was very strange however I continued to do that,that was very unprofessional from the valet assistant. I realized that this valet assistantent was different to the assistant that initially assisted me up on my arrival . It's strange to have one person determine the Review of the hotel but I also have to be honest to avoid this from happening nxt time.
