"This was my first time encountering an issue when booking a hotel abroad. I arrived at the Capital Centre Arjaan by Rotana in Abu Dhabi after 9 PM. Check-in was smooth. Upon entering the room, I noticed it was newly renovated, with a strong smell of construction materials, even though the Ctrip homepage stated it was renovated in 2023. I immediately contacted customer service to resolve the issue, but since it was already past midnight, I couldn't book another room for that night. Ctrip's customer service was quite responsible. The agent I spoke with, Xiao Cheng, was a girl who was very capable at problem-solving. She helped me find a nearby hotel and asked me to pay for it first, with the understanding that I would negotiate with the platform later. Overall, I'd give the handling process a 7 out of 10, as the information displayed on the platform was indeed incorrect. However, this hotel has now changed its renovation year to 2025. I paid over 1000 AED for my stay, but the usual price is only around 500 AED. I hope everyone pays attention and doesn't overpay; this hotel's price is not worth over 1000 AED. If I have the chance to visit Abu Dhabi again in the future, I will still choose to book my rooms through Ctrip!"

"Hotel environment and facilities: The room faced the palace directly, offering an amazing view. Next to it was the Etihad Towers, where 'Fast & Furious 7' was filmed near this hotel. The gym had plenty of equipment and was rarely crowded. The room was tidy and clean, the service was excellent, and the internet speed was super fast.
Transportation: There's a shuttle bus to Yas Island's theme parks, running twice a day. The palace and presidential palace are within walking distance. Taxis to the Grand Mosque and the Louvre Abu Dhabi take about 20 minutes and cost around 40 AED.
Dining: The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and tasted good. The club lounge was just okay; the selection was a bit limited. Although it's accessible from 11 AM to 11 PM, I went in once in the afternoon and could only get drinks and biscuits."

"The front desk is tiny, and so is the lobby. The Starbucks in the lobby is actually bigger than the front desk. I had to wait for a room inspection before checking out, which is something I haven't experienced in many years.
The bathroom is really old-fashioned. The hairdryer and magnifying mirror are installed incredibly high – you'd need to be at least 180cm tall to use them comfortably.
And to top it off, there were mosquitoes at night! I barely got any sleep."

"The stay was decent considering the price, but I believe there are better options available in the same range. The rooms were noticeably small, especially if you are traveling with multiple bags or planning a longer stay. One thing that was disappointing was the lack of luggage assistance service, which would have been helpful during check-in and check-out.
On the positive side, the location is convenient, with plenty of markets, cafes, and restaurants nearby, making it easy to find food and basic necessities. The pool area was good and well-maintained, but it was quite crowded because of the holiday season, so it was difficult to fully relax and enjoy the facilities.
Another downside was that basic toiletries like toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided in the room. When we requested them, the staff informed us that they were available only at an extra charge, which was unexpected for a hotel stay. Overall, the experience was average not bad, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of service and room comfort."

"For its price, this hotel is really quite good. It's in the city center, has a pool, and the staff are friendly. However, if you're looking for a resort experience, the hotel's location can be a bit tricky to find because there's ongoing construction right in front, blocking the entrance, which makes it hard for taxis to locate. Plus, there's no shuttle bus, making travel to the airport and Yas Island very inconvenient. If you plan to visit Yas Island, I'd recommend taking a taxi to the first stop of the Yas Island shuttle bus's Downtown line, otherwise, it'll be full by the second stop. The cost of a round-trip taxi to Yas Island could easily pay for a stay at a much better hotel. Therefore, I suggest the hotel consider adding a shuttle bus service."

"Excellent hotel. The staff are polite and always happy to help with any queries. The rooms are good and spacious. The windows don't open, but in January, even with the AC off, the temperature was comfortable – neither cold nor hot. The ventilation system worked well. We slept great; the mattresses were good and not worn out. Breakfast was a bit sparse, but you won't go hungry. There's a Burger King on the other side of the hotel building. The beach is a 30-minute walk away, and on the way, there's a WTC mall with a McDonald's."

① Location: It's about a 10-15 AED taxi ride from the Grand Mosque. There are taxis readily available downstairs, and the staff will help you hail one if you ask. I found these to be cheaper than ride-sharing apps like Uber.
② Room Facilities: Clean and tidy, with excellent hardware and software, including hot water. The hotel also has a private beach, and many people were sunbathing there.
③ Overall Service: Excellent. The front desk kindly upgraded our room and was very enthusiastic about explaining all the services the hotel offers. It's a shame we didn't have time to experience the abra (water taxi) for sightseeing."

It offers stunning views of the eight-star Emirates Palace Hotel and the Presidential Palace, especially from the hotel's 74th-floor observation deck, which provides a beautiful 360-degree panorama of Abu Dhabi. The lobby features a high-ceiling design and live piano music in the evenings, creating an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. The large pool connects directly to the beach, with two or three restaurants conveniently located nearby, adding to the comfort.
The guest rooms are situated on higher floors and are quite spacious. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer uninterrupted views of the sea and the buildings across the way.
The service is warm and meticulous. Staff proactively greet you and are always ready to help with luggage or call a taxi. They truly strive to assist with any request you might have.
Walking to the Presidential Palace takes about 15 to 20 minutes, which was very convenient for us, being seniors.
The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes. Highlights include fresh-squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, propolis, and a DIY chocolate skewer station, which was fantastic.
The hotel's Italian restaurant serves authentic cuisine. The pizzas, baked fresh in a stone oven, were exceptionally delicious (unaffected by the strong flavors sometimes found in Middle Eastern cuisine). We ended up dining there twice.

SSam.TOur family had a pleasant three-night stay at VOGO Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa from 29 December to 1 January, enjoying the comfortable facilities and beautiful golf course surroundings. Overall, it was a positive experience with a few areas that could be improved.
The hotel provides valet parking, which is very convenient, especially when traveling with children and luggage. Most staff we encountered were polite and helpful, although service quality can feel inconsistent at times. One minor disappointment was the check-in experience: the receptionist shook her body in a dismissive way while speaking to us, which did not match the professional standards expected of a five-star hotel.
Our room was spacious and generally clean, with the highlight being the lovely golf club view from the window, which made our stay feel relaxing and resort-like. Cleanliness was acceptable, with housekeeping keeping the room in reasonable condition, though not outstanding compared with some other luxury properties.
On the first day, the pump of the shower gel dispenser was not working, which was inconvenient after a long day.After we left a note for the hotel on the second morning, the issue was fixed promptly, and the dispenser worked properly for the rest of the stay, showing that the team is responsive once informed.
Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options including Middle Eastern and international fusion dishes that suited both adults and children. A special thanks to Ms. Getrude at the restaurant: she was very caring toward our child, spoke to her warmly, and even remembered our daughter’s name on the second day, which made us feel genuinely welcomed.
Overall, this resort offers a relaxing golf-view environment, convenient valet parking, and a good breakfast selection, making it a comfortable choice for families. With some refinement in front-desk attitude and more attention to small in-room maintenance issues, it has the potential to deliver a consistently five-star experience.

Regarding the accommodations, the room was perfectly decent and functional. It provided everything needed for a comfortable city stay, including fast, reliable WiFi and a good, strong shower. AAlleneThe hotel is clean but it is like a condo or flat type of hotel…but it is nice anyway. The food is so yummy with a lot of choices. For the location, it is about 15-20 minutes walk from Al Wahda Mall & so, it’s a bit far. Better to ride a taxi if you have a luggage because it is very hot outside esp. during the mid day. It is near anyway, in all the tourist spots of the city. At night as well, you can hear the music from the bar and also the sound of cars passing by outside.
The staff were so friendly, helpful & accommodating. For the service, I find it excellent. We had a pleasant stay in this hotel.

If you plan to use public transportation to Ferrari World and Warner Bros , take bus 102 or 184 but… buses are so crowded anytime . There is a shuttle bus to Yas Marina but it only pick the people at11:00 am which means arriving in the park afternoon and it will be crowded . Arrive earlier to the parks because rides can take up to 2 hours such as Formula Rossa .
Best to stay in Abu Dhabi first and then go to dubai .

GGuest UserNice hotel for its price for 1 night stay. Location is quite close to Louvre, which was my point of interest in Abu Dhabi. Though it's far from airport & Grand Mosque (1 h by bus). There is a supermarket nearby. My room was quite spacious, but windows dirty & impossible to open (only air conditioning to cool down the room), also very strange window in the bathroom with pigeon (see photo)) but overall clean (except the curtains and hole on the blacket). Fridge & teapot working, though a bit old. Shower gel, etc provided. Hot water without problems. I had breakfast, there were omlette, vegetables, fruit, desserts, smth fried - ok to eat & go. Quick wifi. But it seems like there is a nightclub in the hotel, I heard a bit of music late at night & sound of the road in front (though my room was on 11 floor). I was very tired so it didn't stop me from sleeping well)

GGuest UserWe booked this hotel knowing we wouldn't spend a lot of time in it and it would be a place to sleep. We found the things we wanted to see in Abu Dhabi were pretty spread out but this was central enough to it all. The hotel is located about 30 minutes from Zayed International Airport and Yas Island and about 15 minutes away from the Saadiyat Cultural District with all its museums and the Galleria area. There are some dining options and smaller stores nearby but it is a short drive away from some better options.
We booked a room with a king bed and had a good stay in it. The room was small but considering the price we felt it was well appointed with a mini fridge, coffee/tea station, small TV and a closet. The pillows were pretty comfy and we felt we had a good night's rest when we stayed. We booked a non smoking room and so did our cousin but it seems that despite what our booking website showed the smoking is allowed in many of the rooms. They did spray our room with a deodorizer before we got in and we felt it helped. There are enough plugs throughout the rooms and there was enough lighting even though it only came from the table side lamps. The area is very active and late into the night and my wife found it a bit noisy, had issues sleeping and needed to use ear plugs but I found it was quiet enough and had no issues falling asleep each night. We didn't need AC during our stay in February because our room was the right temperature for us but there was a thermostat on the wall.
The bathroom had lots of room and a good sized bath tub. The shower felt great and offered good pressure and plenty of steam. They had shower gel, shampoo and body lotion that are restocked each day. The ventilation could have been a bit stronger because the condensation from our steamy showers left the floor damp. Thankfully there is daily housekeeping to help with this issue.
There aren't any amenities at this hotel other than a small business centre. There are some restaurants nearby to grab a quick bite but we had to drive a bit to go to places we wanted to try. The parking nearby is all paid but is free between 11:00pm-8:00am and we were lucky our first night getting a spot right in front of the hotel with Unais' help but the second night we had to park about a block away. Parking costs 2 AED per hour but there are special rates for longer stays like 24 hours.
We felt this hotel was convenient for our stay in Abu Dhabi because we didn't want to spend a lot on a place we wouldn't spend much time in. This met our needs perfectly.
