Find Top Hostels in Lisbon

Looking at the pictures, I thought this was in a suburban area, as a small garden like this doesn't seem like something you'd find in Lisbon's old town. But surprisingly, there are still spaces like this even on the upper floors of old town apartment buildings. The owner is very thoughtful, and it felt like very Chinese-style service. The English-speaking front desk service was excellent, and since it was Halloween, there were candies on the bar, plus free lemonade! However, the biggest issue is that there's no elevator to the fourth floor, and I nearly collapsed dragging my large suitcase before getting through the door. Thankfully, the room itself was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the space wasn't as small as other apartments. It was very cozy, and there are many fantastic little shops nearby, with food and atmosphere that are just as good as Michelin-starred places! Loved it.

Pros: The public area on the first basement level is huge, and the kitchen is also very large, connecting to a garden, which is lovely. Cons: There are only shared restrooms and showers. The showers are push-button style, so you have to keep pressing them. However, there are several restrooms and showers on each floor, which is quite sufficient, and I didn't have to queue. Location: There are quite a few slopes nearby; you'll need to walk uphill from the subway station. If you have a lot of luggage, I recommend taking a taxi. Cleanliness: Good, very clean.

Excellent location - It was just a few minutes' walk from the metro station and very close to Parque Eduardo VII, where the Christmas market was (and I enjoyed it very much!). The staff were very friendly and helpful. I encountered some problems on arrival, and they sorted them out immediately. Give them a bug thumbs up. The facilities were basic but had everything I needed. Given such a cheap price, I won't ask for more. I felt a bit cold at night even though I had a hot water bottle. I was staying on the top floor and it was December (I feel cold easily anyway). Maybe they can try to make it warmer?

I arrived at 1:40 am after having checked in online (perfect). Found Moran at the reception (pardon me if I got it wrong) who was a breath of fresh air. I got room 307. Lifts working well, clean room, and quiet. Only issue: the storage drawers are metal and rusty (difficult to pull in/out, and I only had a bed sheet to cover (someone else put the AC on at 16°C! Freezing cold. But I slept well. I only stayed for the night but I will consider staying if another opportunity arises. Ps: Please, tell people not to smoke immediately outside its main entrance as the smoke/smell still gets in.

staffs are very welcoming. the location’s quite good as there’re supermarket, cafes and tram stations (line 28) nearby. the luggage storage is just putting your luggage on the floor, which feels not very safe. Also, someone who stayed there disturbed us RIGHT after 11pm saying that it’s the hostel’s resting time. but overall it was a good stay

The room with bathroom inside the room with balcony. No curtains on the beds, the light can bother, no privacy. There is elevator, no problems with luggage. There is a kitchen, but is closed in the night time. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hostel is located about 3km walk from the center city, but does have some close by attractions (such as the Jeronimo's Monetary) The room is extremely small, if you seat on the edge of the bed and try to stretch your legs, you'll most likely hit the wall. We had our room replaced, as the first room had zero privacy for the toilet and the second room gave the illusion of privacy (as you can see in photos) We've not seen any of the management, as everything is done thru WhatsApp to contact them and they will respond. Breakfast was OK, it had a bit of choices but there was more cakes and cookies then actual food.

Как было рекомендовано на сайте, сообщила хозяину примерное время прибытия, он отправил мне код для подъезда и был на месте. Быстро заселил. Комната чистая, постель удобная. В комнате есть и шкаф с вешалками, и комод, и и тумбочки. В общих санузлах чистота - убираются часто и старательно. Приятно удивила кухня - все продумано и предусмотрено для комфортного проживания. Во всем чувствуется искренняя забота о приезжающих людях. Всем благодарна! Остались приятные воспоминания!
