The staff were friendly, and the room was a pleasant surprise – clean, stylish, and spacious. The bathroom and toilet were separate, with a bathtub for soaking, and there was even an outdoor balcony with some plants, which was fantastic. The soundproofing wasn't the best, as there's a night market downstairs. The freshly squeezed juice was delicious. The hotel is a bit far from the train station, about a 20-minute walk. Since I was staying for three consecutive nights, I had to become a member to avoid checking out daily, which I found a bit odd and deducted a few points for. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Taichung.

The corner room was a bit small. With a double bed, it's fine for one person. The bed faces directly into the bathroom, so be careful with the water pressure/direction when showering, or the whole floor will get wet. The air conditioning is central, so be aware if you have specific preferences. The room has three sets of lights: main space, bathroom, and a night light. There's a free laundry room on the top floor, with paid dryers. The washing machine automatically adjusts based on the laundry type/requirements. The bed was really comfortable, I slept great, but the pillows were a bit too soft. The location is super convenient. It's across from Miyahara Eye Clinic and a 5-6 minute walk to the train station. The street behind the hotel is lively at night with hot pot restaurants. The staff were friendly.

The location is convenient, and the decor has an industrial style. They offered a complimentary tea jelly upon check-in, but the room layout is a bit small. If you book for three people, the system only calculates the cost for two; the extra person will be charged at the front desk.

The facilities had everything one would expect, including disposable slippers. They offer luggage storage, and the room was very clean – no cockroaches or other bugs. Luggage storage is available, and the location is excellent, near Taichung Railway Station, and close to famous goose and Taichung meatball restaurants. Laundry costs 40 NTD, and you can buy detergent on site. One drawback is that the air conditioning in the room didn't dehumidify, making the entire room very damp; my passport even felt a bit damp from the humidity.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was definitely convenient, making it easy to get around. However, the room could have been cleaner and the overall cleanliness was below my expectations. If you’re staying here, I would suggest not expecting too much in terms of room condition and cleanliness. That said, the friendly staff and convenient location are the main positives.

Facilities: The room wasn't huge, but it had everything I needed. The bathroom was very spacious with both a shower and a bathtub 🛁, which was great. Service: Excellent! Every staff member was wonderful, especially Rich, who was incredibly attentive and made me feel very well looked after. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was decent, and they had my favorite, salad.

Stylish design hotel in Taichung's old town. Clean rooms, comfy beds, and amazing staff. 10-min walk from train station. Close to Miyahara and Second Market. Rooms are small and soundproofing is just okay, but great value for money. Free afternoon snacks! Perfect for solo or couple travelers or family too . ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our stay was incredibly comfortable. I had requested a specific room type, and to my delight, we were able to check in to it on the first day. We were also told we could switch to a room with a bathtub the next day, which was fantastic service. The moment we walked in, there was a lovely fragrance. Since we stayed for three consecutive nights, the room was cleaned impeccably each day. All in all, I highly recommend this as an overnight option for everyone!

Pros: Free-flow coffee, and it tastes great. Cons: 1. Check-in time is 4 PM, whereas in Japan, the latest it would be is 3 PM. 2. Poor soundproofing: I could clearly hear the TV from the next room. 3. The TV only has a smart set-top box, meaning no live TV channels, and you need to bring your own accounts for streaming. 4. There was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom at night. I'm not trying to be overly critical; I just feel the hotel isn't treating its guests fairly. The public spaces are indeed well-designed, but a hotel's primary function is to provide a comfortable stay, and it seems this fundamental aspect has been overlooked.

Right outside a bus stop which we took number 19 to visit Western Palace. Plus we transferred to 9018 all the way to Lukang old town from the Museum of Dinosaurs and Botanical garden. All a walking distance to 7-11 and nearby has restaurants. Room is alright for us. Bathroom is clean. There is a laundry room at 5th floor, both wash and dry are 50 dollars each. We are very pleased with this location and hotel quietness. Nice n comfy.
