GGuest UserI genuinely and highly recommend this place! It's located right in the villa area next to the entrance of Shuhe Ancient Town. The environment is superb and incredibly quiet, making for a truly comfortable stay. You can even see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain directly from the rooftop, offering an unobstructed view. The owner is also super nice, with warm and attentive service. Not only did they meticulously help us plan our sightseeing routes, but they also offered great suggestions. I highly recommend staying here!

GGuest UserThe host is a middle-aged lady who speaks softly and is very considerate. She will contact you in advance to let you know the check-in time to avoid being away from the hotel. She will also give you some general tips on how to avoid pitfalls in Lugu Lake. She is a bit of a clean freak, so both the public area and the room are kept very clean.

GGuest UserI've stayed in so many hostels, but this one in Lijiang Ancient Town is truly top-tier! The setting is absolutely enchanting. When you open the window, you're greeted by the ancient town's flagstone streets and a sea of flowers – the ambiance is just perfect. Sitting on the rooftop, you can see the snowy mountains and soak up the sun; all your worries just melt away.

- location: near to lijiang ancient city southern gate (5 mins walk), bua stop, shops, laundry etc
- hospitality 5 ⭐️: they go out of their way to accomodate
- bbq night: they will held a bbq every night for travellers

AAlice Kang88The location is near to HuTuWo farm which is walkable 15 mins, it's about 40 mins +- if you take a taxi from LiJiang Ancient to BaiSha Ancient Town.
We enjoy the famous local speciality - rose bun by ManTou Shiren and XiaoLongBao and GuanTangBao nearby.
This hostel is located at BaiSha Ancient Town which have a perfect scenery view for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
But too bad there is bad weather when we arrive there so we couldnot have a clear view but we do enjoy the stay there.
But outside the room is open living area with many trees and we found out small insect appear in our room that cause us very scary and could not sleep well but the PIC did come to help and take off the insect after non-stop several calls at 10.30pm 😬

GGuest UserI went for it for the price, but still some lacking things surprised me. The bed was hard, the walls in the room were mostly dirty and stained from both human use and mosquito splatters. There was rarely someone available for inquiries and the outside toilet was a big downside, since it was quite cold, especially at night. Having a kitchen to use was definitely a plus and the rooftop areas were pretty nice, although messy. I was sad to see all the animal they have spend the whole day caged or chained 😔

There are shared dining activities at noon and in the evening. The taste is also very good. There are many people and it's lively. Many people come here to travel alone. They have a lot of fun here. If you come alone to travel, you can't go wrong staying at TravelJi Youth Hostel!

ZZhedaoshamadewangI traveled to Lijiang alone. I stayed at the backpacker ten years on the first day. The backpacker room was too noisy at night. The door made a loud noise when entering and exiting. I didn't sleep all night. I moved to K2 the next day. I felt very comfortable as soon as I entered the courtyard. It was very quiet at night. The scenery was very good. The bed in the lobby was very comfortable, especially on rainy days. There were also a few cute cats. Moreover, the key was that the cost performance was very high. I have lived here for a week. It is good. I highly recommend it.

AAnonymous UserThis hostel has such a fantastic atmosphere! The common areas are stylishly designed, cozy and comfortable, and I met so many interesting friends from all over the world. In the evenings, we gather to chat and share stories, or quietly read books and listen to music – it feels like coming home. The staff are also incredibly welcoming, organizing various activities to keep the atmosphere lively. It's definitely the warmest place to rest during your travels, and I highly recommend it to solo travelers!
