"Room Clean bed space with curtain for privacy. In the space you get plug sockets, lights and shelves. Room door has a lock. I don't think I saw an air con but it wasn't too hot so not an issue during my stay (i'm sure if you asked they might be able to help). This is not a criticism but a suggestion to make it even better - hooks at the end of the bed to hang stuff would be very useful. Pretty thin mattress as seems common in Chinese hostels, but probably one of the comfier sleeps I've had. forgot to take pictures of the room but it is just standard kind of capsule hostel type set up Bathroom Nice and clean. A few bathrooms each with a shower, squat toilet, sink and hair dryer. As per the online description, there are no toiletries. Around the corner it also appears you may be able to do your washing here but not too sure. Location Very close to the ancient town but also close to the residential area if you want to see that side as well. Make sure you're on the right side of the fence when you walk down haha. Around 40mins from train station by bus, not too bad (its easiest if you get the tourist bus) Host Seems great for Chinese visitors, maybe a little awkward for international visitors due to language barrier, but you get what you make of the situation. Seems to be a BBQ in the evening. They were kind and let me leave my luggage before I checked in and after I checked out (awkward train times)"

Find a healing place in Lijiang, the whole inn is based on logs, warm and simple, combined with a faint Chinese Zen, and the impetuous heart calmed down as soon as it entered the door. The bedroom is spacious and soft, with laminated wood lamps and wooden bedsides with gentle filters. Thick curtains are insulated from the hustle and bustle, and a good night's sleep. The private bathroom takes into account the shower and a separate large bathtub. After the journey, the bath will relieve fatigue, and the sanitary ware is clean and odorless. The tea table in the house is small and elegant, and you can drink yourself in your leisure time; The tea room in the front hall is full of all kinds of Pu'er, the boss is gentle and talkative, willing to talk about tea with the guests, with sweet fruit food, and enjoy Lijiang time slowly. There is no noise along the street in the ancient city, quiet and leisure, soft decoration, washing and bedding are hidden in every detail, it is a good place to let people down and hurry and rest at ease.

This hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the north gate of Lijiang Ancient City. There is a large Jinjia vegetable market near the downstairs. It is very convenient to eat and buy vegetables and fruits. Staying in this hotel for three days, the price is less than 100 yuan. There are several hotels across the road not far from this hotel that are at least 200~300. I personally think that this hotel is very cost-effective in Lijiang's popular tourist attractions. Go to the hotel to help carry luggage to the room upstairs, check out to help take luggage to the lobby, provide two bottles of mineral water, If you don’t drink enough, you can go to the lobby on the first floor to get more mineral water for free. If the budget is not enough, you want to live in a cheap, cost-effective and thoughtful hotel. This hotel should be a good choice. The price of Lijiang Hotel Inn is generally high, and there are few people living. Basically, the price is not reduced. I want to find a hotel with a reasonable price, convenient and clean travel, and there are not many hotels in Lijiang, a popular tourist city.

Facilities: A very retro and unique shop, I think artsy types would love to stay here, it's very comfortable. There's a swing, but the shower area is outdoors, which is slightly inconvenient. The toilets and bathrooms have ambient lighting. There are also many different types of books to read. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, the toilets are sit-down toilets, but alcohol wipes are provided. Alcohol spray and laundry detergent are available, but you need to bring your own toothbrush and towel. Environment: Located near Shuhe Ancient Town, the scenery is beautiful, and there are many cats and plants in the shop. Service: It's okay, there are no computers in the shop, so if you need to transfer photos, it's recommended to bring your own computer or phone adapter. The soundproofing is poor; you can often hear conversations in the courtyard at 7 am and 11 pm. Also, the cats are currently in their estrus cycle and often howl at night. There are no earplugs, so people with poor sleep quality should bring their own.

Everything very good. Quiet location 5min walker from south gate of ancient town. Manager extremely helpful. Nice traditional breakfast. Recommended. If you go up snow mountain using a local tour they will stop on way to buy oxygen cans & ”medicine”, very expensive but they persuasive. Just buy a can or 2 & a snickers bar at local shop & save yourself 200 yuan. The village is amazing, especially the west side at early evening when empty.

Thank you so much, Sister Bing. We couldn't book a room for another day, but Sister Bing was so nice to accommodate me and my friend. My friend and I went to bed late, so I hope we didn't disturb Sister Bing during our stay. Every time we came back, the owner would greet us and say ”I'm back”, which was like going home. I highly recommend it to friends in Lugu Lake, you won't be disappointed! There is also a very cute cat named Big Bear.

The location is super convenient, really close to the bus station. It's about a 20-minute walk to the Old Town. The owner was lovely and even helped us with our luggage. The courtyard is beautiful, and the little cat is absolutely adorable!

Cozy hostel right in the middle of Baisha town. There was lots of information at the front desk about activities in mandarin (I couldn't read it) but the staff were able to help direct me via translator. Beds also had heating pads which made all the difference in the winter!! The only problem was the door to the girls dorm I stayed in had trouble closing which led to a lot of middle of the night slamming, or it being left open and the cold air gets in :/

This hostel is located just outside the old town, a short walk of a few minutes away. Hostels inside the old town often have the drawback of difficult paths, making it easy for suitcase wheels to get damaged. This hostel's female dorms are on the second floor, which feels very secure and isn't noisy. The atmosphere is great; you can play cards together in the evening. They provide free disposable toothbrushes, shampoo, shower gel, and laundry detergent. Most importantly, they offer free drinking water, which is something I've rarely encountered in the many hostels I've stayed at – definitely a big plus! What I loved most, of course, were the two little cats at the hostel. As a cat lover, I spent my days cuddling them, hehe. The nearby bus stop is also just a few minutes' walk away, making it super convenient to take a bus to places like Baisha Old Town and Shuhe Old Town. I ended up staying an extra night because I couldn't get a lower bunk on my train to Kunming. I'm really satisfied with my stay. Of course, the beds are wooden, so a little creaking is unavoidable, but the hostel even provides earplugs. How perfect is that? Off to Kunming for more fun, and I'll definitely stay here again next time, hehe!

The room is clean and hygienic. It's my first time in a youth hostel. The atmosphere is great. The owners are very enthusiastic. There are shared dining activities at noon and in the evening. The taste is also very good. There are many people and it's lively. Many people come here to travel alone. They have a lot of fun here. If you come alone to travel, you can't go wrong staying at TravelJi Youth Hostel!

I came here with my friend's family and booked two rooms on the first night. The next day, my friend and his family went back, and we continued to stay here. Because it is the peak tourist season, prices are slowly increasing now. When we extended our stay the next day, the aunt calculated the original price for us! The lady boss is very nice!
