Facilities: A very retro and unique shop, I think artsy types would love to stay here, it's very comfortable. There's a swing, but the shower area is outdoors, which is slightly inconvenient. The toilets and bathrooms have ambient lighting. There are also many different types of books to read. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, the toilets are sit-down toilets, but alcohol wipes are provided. Alcohol spray and laundry detergent are available, but you need to bring your own toothbrush and towel. Environment: Located near Shuhe Ancient Town, the scenery is beautiful, and there are many cats and plants in the shop. Service: It's okay, there are no computers in the shop, so if you need to transfer photos, it's recommended to bring your own computer or phone adapter. The soundproofing is poor; you can often hear conversations in the courtyard at 7 am and 11 pm. Also, the cats are currently in their estrus cycle and often howl at night. There are no earplugs, so people with poor sleep quality should bring their own.

The B&B is located in a villa complex. The main gate is a five-minute walk from the South Gate of Shuhe Ancient Town, and the location is accurate. You can park your car right in front of the B&B. There's also a back gate in the complex, and once you exit, the East Gate of Shuhe Ancient Town is just across the road. Service: The owner was incredibly warm and friendly, offering tips and advice for sightseeing, just like family. The auntie's mixed sauce rice noodles were delicious and everything was clean and hygienic. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much, Sister Bing. We couldn't book a room for another day, but Sister Bing was so nice to accommodate me and my friend. My friend and I went to bed late, so I hope we didn't disturb Sister Bing during our stay. Every time we came back, the owner would greet us and say ”I'm back”, which was like going home. I highly recommend it to friends in Lugu Lake, you won't be disappointed! There is also a very cute cat named Big Bear.

I highly recommend this hostel for solo travelers visiting Lijiang. If you're too tired to trek to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain for sunrise, you can climb a ladder from the balcony to the rooftop in the morning to catch the ”Golden Mountain in the Sun” – no need to go all the way there and back, haha! It's super close to the Old Town, less than 1 km away, so it's perfect for an evening stroll. If you have some free time, you can also head to Black Dragon Pool for another stunning view of the sunrise on the mountain. This hostel feels like it's the closest one to Black Dragon Pool Park, which is free and gets quite busy in the mornings. The hostel owner is a great guy; he's always ready to help with any requests. You'll often see him cleaning rooms and tidying the courtyard during the day – he's really meticulous about cleanliness. The balcony is huge, perfect for sunbathing. I noticed all the sheets and duvet covers were drying, so each bed definitely gets fresh linens 😂. I had such a good stay that I extended for several days. I'll definitely be back next time!

The location is near to HuTuWo farm which is walkable 15 mins, it's about 40 mins +- if you take a taxi from LiJiang Ancient to BaiSha Ancient Town. We enjoy the famous local speciality - rose bun by ManTou Shiren and XiaoLongBao and GuanTangBao nearby. This hostel is located at BaiSha Ancient Town which have a perfect scenery view for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. But too bad there is bad weather when we arrive there so we couldnot have a clear view but we do enjoy the stay there. But outside the room is open living area with many trees and we found out small insect appear in our room that cause us very scary and could not sleep well but the PIC did come to help and take off the insect after non-stop several calls at 10.30pm 😬 The photos with animal is in HuTuWo which is walkable 15 mins from this hostel.

Room Clean bed space with curtain for privacy. In the space you get plug sockets, lights and shelves. Room door has a lock. I don't think I saw an air con but it wasn't too hot so not an issue during my stay (i'm sure if you asked they might be able to help). This is not a criticism but a suggestion to make it even better - hooks at the end of the bed to hang stuff would be very useful. Pretty thin mattress as seems common in Chinese hostels, but probably one of the comfier sleeps I've had. forgot to take pictures of the room but it is just standard kind of capsule hostel type set up Bathroom Nice and clean. A few bathrooms each with a shower, squat toilet, sink and hair dryer. As per the online description, there are no toiletries. Around the corner it also appears you may be able to do your washing here but not too sure. Location Very close to the ancient town but also close to the residential area if you want to see that side as well. Make sure you're on the right side of the fence when you walk down haha. Around 40mins from train station by bus, not too bad (its easiest if you get the tourist bus) Host Seems great for Chinese visitors, maybe a little awkward for international visitors due to language barrier, but you get what you make of the situation. Seems to be a BBQ in the evening. They were kind and let me leave my luggage before I checked in and after I checked out (awkward train times)

I went for it for the price, but still some lacking things surprised me. The bed was hard, the walls in the room were mostly dirty and stained from both human use and mosquito splatters. There was rarely someone available for inquiries and the outside toilet was a big downside, since it was quite cold, especially at night. Having a kitchen to use was definitely a plus and the rooftop areas were pretty nice, although messy. I was sad to see all the animal they have spend the whole day caged or chained 😔

The door of the female four-person room could not be closed and opened as soon as the wind blew. I wanted to give a bad review directly, but I thought I should communicate first. So after the communication, the boss changed the room. The door could be closed, but it could not be locked. I just pressed the handle from the outside and the door opened. There was no room card or key, and the door could not be locked. I asked the boss if all the rooms here were like this? The boss said yes, and said that there was surveillance. I was convinced and had nothing to say. He also changed me to another four-person room. I was the only one living there, and it was indeed a single room for one person. Although the price was cheap and it was in the scenic area, I just asked that the door could be locked, not that anyone could open it from the outside. Am I asking too much? I hope the store can repair the door lock in the future, install a lock and match it with a key or room card. It doesn't cost that much, right? The bathroom is relatively old, the walls are moldy, and the facilities are old, but I can accept it. It's okay to take a shower and wash, but it doesn't look comfortable. After all, it's in the scenic area, and it costs a lot to redecorate. But the door lock can't cost that much, right? I feel unsafe. I am afraid of being hit on the waist while sleeping. If you don't believe me, you can go to the store to see if what I said is true or not before booking. But the price is indeed cheap, but I don't think it is necessary to live in Shuhe Ancient Town. There is nothing to visit in this scenic spot. There is no need to come here from a long distance. Lijiang Ancient Town and Shahe Ancient Town are better than this. I don't know if other standard rooms and double bed rooms also have door cards and keys. Anyone can open the door from the outside. But to be honest, the courtyard environment of the hotel is really good. Anyone who sees the courtyard should like it. There are many trees and many tables and chairs to sit in the small courtyard. It is very comfortable and very comfortable. There are two large beds in the public space of the courtyard. It is really comfortable to lie down. That courtyard is really good, and there are cute cats, especially cute and soft fur. There is also a washing machine that seems to be 10 yuan per bucket, which is too expensive, but I didn't scan the code. Maybe no one saw it in the middle of the night and didn't ask me to charge. I still thank the store for letting me wash my clothes for free.

Very beautiful hostel. Location is just outside of old town. Staff is very helpful. Cleaning is average. Only one thing is that bed is very uncomfortable. Mattress is so much thin  I don’t sleep comfortably both 2 tonight atmosphere is very good but due to offseason hostel is full empty They have a very beautiful cat and naughty dog both or very beautiful and cute.

I came here with my friend's family and booked two rooms on the first night. The next day, my friend and his family went back, and we continued to stay here. Because it is the peak tourist season, prices are slowly increasing now. When we extended our stay the next day, the aunt calculated the original price for us! The lady boss is very nice!
