"We had a wonderful stay at Urban Loft Cologne. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location is another great advantage. It is conveniently situated near many of Cologne’s popular tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot or by public transportation. Overall, Urban Loft Cologne offers excellent service, clean accommodations, and a fantastic location. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cologne and would happily stay here again."

"I'm heading to this hotel tomorrow for the fourth weekend in a row for a training course in Cologne. I feel very comfortable here, and the hotel is super nice, modern, and well-furnished. Everything is still new and very clean. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The direct access to the S-Bahn is also excellent, getting you to the city center quickly. I can definitely recommend it and will book it more often for future visits to Cologne."

"Very comfortable rooms with air conditioning, fridge, and coffee bar. Unfortunately, the bathroom isn't barrier-free. Very good, extensive breakfast with live cooking! The underground parking is unfortunately expensive. Very friendly staff! Gladly again!"

"OK for one night but with a heater that doesn't get warm enough it's a disaster, I was freezing in the room. It wasn't nice. The faucet could do with a new one. And then they put a bottle of water out there without a bottle opener. Not justified for the price in my opinion."

"We stayed at the city hotel for over two weeks. We changed rooms twice. The internet didn't work properly in ANY of the rooms. Netflix or video conferencing became a real problem. The shower also didn't work properly. The temperature kept changing, which was very unpleasant. The housekeeping staff often had loud conversations in the hallway. Despite being spoken to, there was hardly any improvement. I also found a small bloodstain on my pillow. Every morning I arranged the pillow so that it was visible. Only after several days and a complaint at reception was the cover finally changed. The mattresses are completely worn out. One day the elevator broke down. Our room was on the 5th floor. The receptionist just shrugged. I certainly don't expect royal treatment, but as a guest, you can't expect to be greeted first. Not a chance! They sat there completely indifferent or stared at their phones. The only positive thing is the location in Porz. It's within walking distance of the light rail and the train station. The pedestrian zone is directly opposite and offers everything you need. The blonde receptionist was a bright spot. While she couldn't solve the problems either, she at least showed understanding. I also asked for the manager several times, as I would have liked to discuss the issues with her. I didn't encounter her even once during my nearly three-week stay. Unfortunately, there are few alternatives in Cologne Porz. But you should be aware of these problems when booking."

"We had a great 3 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a great location, approx 10 minutes walk to the old town / river etc. There are also lots of options nearby for morning coffee, pastries, drinks etc. The room was excellent. The hotel is spotless, room was very comfortable, good air con, and a lovely touch with nespresso coffee machine in each room along with a small minibar that is included as part of your stay and re-stocked. A really nice touch - thank you. All in all cannot fault and would highly recommend."

"Don’t stay here in summer it’s absolute hell. It doesn’t have any working air con regardless of what they say and the room is 28-30c at night! The hotel owners need to spend a few million euros overhauling the entire system and it’s obvious they won’t ever do that Sadly because of this the front desk staff bare the brunt of complaints therefore creating a toxic work environment the room itself is nice but sadly would never book again during summer months"

"The advantages are its good location, close to Rudolfplatz metro station, with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The hotel breakfast is quite plentiful, the service is acceptable, and the cleanliness is decent, with clean bedding. The disadvantages, focusing on the key points: First, the room is small, probably around 10 square meters. The bathroom is only about 4.5 square meters, and the shower is also small. Besides two disposable paper cups in the bathroom, no other water cups or bottled water are provided. The room is on the second floor, and the elevator seems to have been added later, requiring a half-floor walk down stairs to exit. The room is generally clean, but the carpet is a major disappointment, looking like it could harbor dirt and grime. On the day of check-in, I found two very tiny ants on the desk and promptly killed them; those afraid of insects should be cautious. Also, due to a trade fair in Cologne during my stay, the room price almost doubled; avoid booking during trade fairs if you're going to Cologne."
