"On a whim, we decided to go to Zhoushan on a Friday night. I originally wanted to stay at the Westin, but as expected, it was fully booked. I stumbled upon the newly opened Angsana, and it was a pleasant surprise to find such a good price for a summer weekend, especially since it's part of the Banyan Tree group. I booked it right away. Facilities: This was the only downside. The hotel hallways didn't have air conditioning, and it was too hot in the summer. The kids' club was also very hot, which made me lose enthusiasm for any space outside of our room. Other facilities were pretty good. Hygiene: Being newly opened, it was very clean. Thumbs up, and housekeeping was prompt. Environment: It's located halfway up a mountain, and the overall atmosphere is comfortable. It doesn't feel overly crowded, which made it quite relaxing. Service: Excellent! Service responses were prompt. Yola and Jerry provided great service. Even though they don't have robots, they promptly delivered our takeout orders to the door, which was very thoughtful. Overall, I'm satisfied. It offers good value for money, and I would definitely consider choosing Angsana again for my next trip."

"Compared to the guesthouses in Zhujiajian that easily cost at least a thousand yuan per night, I highly recommend this place. The hotel is new and clean. I was traveling with my whole family, and the loft layout was perfect for a family trip. The hotel is close to Wugong Temple Wharf, which is very convenient for our trip to Putuo Mountain. It's easy to get to the wharf by taxi or car. The hotel offers free parking, but charging stations for electric vehicles are a bit limited. There's a watermelon stand right next to the parking lot, which was really convenient for buying watermelons on the way back. It's a bit far to Nansha Island; even driving without traffic takes about half an hour. However, it's close to restaurants in the city center, so I'm satisfied."

"The overall experience at voco by InterContinental exceeded my expectations. Opened in 2025, the facilities are brand new and very clean. The room was spacious, with expansive sea views from the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the bedding was comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The 18th-floor 'Cloud' restaurant offers stunning views, and I highly recommend the Zhoushan seafood noodles for breakfast. The hotel's location in the Donggang commercial district makes dining and shopping convenient, and it's very close to Wugongzhi Pier for trips to Mount Putuo. The service was attentive, and self-parking was free, making it perfect for a pilgrimage or a relaxing getaway. Definitely worth a return visit."

"We were quite apprehensive after seeing so many negative reviews, so we went in with a 'go with the flow' attitude. Our butler, No. 2, was incredibly helpful. Someone even met us specifically at the pier. They were always responsive to our needs. Since we had a baby, they prepared a baby cot for us in advance and kindly allowed us to extend our check-out time. The pier transfers were also very convenient; they helped us transport our luggage to the lobby as we had a lot with the baby. Overall, we weren't really dissatisfied with anything. The lady at the front desk, Chenxiang, was so lovely and lucky; the baby immediately went to her when she held out her arms! 😄 The portions at the restaurant were huge, which really surprised me! 🫶🏻 We didn't get to ride in the legendary pickup truck though! 😄 To be fair, the soundproofing isn't great, but after all the walking and prayers, we were so tired that we fell asleep instantly. So grateful!"

"This hotel was a very pleasant surprise during our trip! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they even upgraded our room. The sea view from the room was amazing, and the overall stay was very comfortable. I also have to praise the breakfast – it was a fantastic surprise! There was a wide variety of options, and everything tasted great. I highly recommend the small wontons; they have thin wrappers and generous fillings. In terms of location, it's very close to Putuo Tiandi, which has lots of dining, drinking, and entertainment options. It's about a 15-minute drive from Zhujiajian Port, so if you're planning to go to Mount Putuo, it's best to allow some extra time."

Compared to the bustling Zhujiajian Wharf, Banshengdong Wharf has much less foot traffic, which I highly recommend. Across the street from the hotel are seafood stalls, and the breakfast was decent."
