"Traveling to Chengde, I discovered this hotel right next to the Summer Resort. More accurately, it's actually part of the Summer Resort itself, so it's just a few steps walk to the main entrance. You can also take a short bus ride to the Puning Temple (Little Potala Palace) and the Panchen Lama's Residence, which is super convenient! The Qiwang Building Hotel itself has really beautiful and exquisite scenery inside, you could even do a travel photoshoot there, haha. In short, it's really pleasant to stroll around after dinner. And they even have deer and peacocks! What a delightful surprise! The room was spacious, bright, comfortable, and clean. If I come to Chengde again, I'd definitely choose Qiwang Building again!"

"No matter where I am, a Hampton Inn always feels like home, and that reliability is truly consistent. This stay was once again perfect: as soon as I entered the lobby, staff warmly greeted me and asked how they could help. The front desk service was professional and thoughtful. Breakfast was nutritious and varied, a great way to start the day. The parking lot was spacious and ample, very convenient for those driving. Whether for a business trip or a leisure stopover, this is an excellent choice. The room was quiet and comfortable, perfect for reading or getting work done without interruption. Highly recommended! The dinner on the top floor is also a recommendation! They even sent up yogurt. The service was impeccable!"

"The young lady at the hotel was very enthusiastic; she even came out to help with our luggage, and her service attitude was excellent. The hotel room was spacious, looked clean and tidy, and all the disposable amenities were readily available. The hotel's location is great, right next to Jinlong Shopping Plaza, and very close to the Summer Resort, within walking distance. It's also not far from the Eight Outer Temples scenic area, about a 10 yuan taxi ride away. I had a wonderful stay this time, and I'll choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengde."

"I took my mom to the Chengde Mountain Resort and other attractions. I chose this hotel on Ctrip mainly because of its location, and it was indeed in a great location. The surrounding area was lively, very close to the Mountain Resort, and there were plenty of places to eat nearby. The hotel staff were very welcoming, the rooms were clean and tidy, and they responded quickly to guests' requests. The breakfast was a little lacking, but it was still filling. Although the hotel is on the street, our room was relatively quiet. Occasionally, cars would pass by at night, but it didn't bother us much. However, even though it's a non-smoking hotel, there was a slight smell of smoke in the hallways, which affected our mood."

"The room was spacious and comfortable, very clean and tidy. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, so everything was easy to use without getting in the way, and the sink was nice and big. They even provided laundry detergent, and the shower had long hooks (much better than traditional clotheslines), which made washing small items super convenient. The shower pressure was also excellent. The front desk staff were incredibly warm, thoughtful, and proactive with their service. The breakfast restaurant opened promptly at 7 AM, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel's location is also fantastic, not far from Erxianju Market and the Summer Palace. "The hotel's硬件 facilities are genuinely impressive. The lobby is opulent and incredibly luxurious, and the rooms are well-equipped. However, the soft services are truly disappointing. From check-in at the front desk to breakfast, the service attitude wasn't even polite. My family of three arrived for breakfast just 5 minutes before closing, and the front desk insisted we pay immediately before entering. Couldn't they just charge it to the room card, or let us sit down and pay a little later? Also, they strictly ration Nongfu Spring water in the rooms, providing only two bottles per day. If you want more, you get a different brand of bottled water. Is this really the service for a 1.5k room? I had already chosen to extend my stay in the same room at 11 PM on the day of check-in, yet no one contacted me about renewing the room card until 6:27 PM the next day. Good service should be seamless and unobtrusive, but every little thing here made us uncomfortable. I hope the experience improves if I have a chance to visit again."

You absolutely *must* try the local specialty lamb soup and knife-cut noodles for breakfast – they are authentic and surprisingly delicious. The hotel's facilities are quite new and very well-maintained, and the environment is clean and tidy. I really love the city of Chengde, and this accommodation offers excellent value for money. It's definitely my top choice for future trips and I highly recommend it."
