"Reception lady was so good and we arrived early so she asked us to leave our luggages in a store room and she explained everything in a professional manner .Room was spacious and near to airport and WiFi was working but 2 feedback I want to give please renovate bathroom and when I entered I can felt the sewerage smell comes from the toilet.I sprayed perfume and Room freshener but still strong odour came from toilet. And then sink hot water tap made so much noise so we used only hot water tap and we can gear all conversation from next room and it was noisy"

We complain about the cleanliness and staff was attentive upon the request we made. The staff were very nice.We got a free upgrade from 13th floor to 21st floor. The downside is that the bedsheet and pillowcase change was very slow and we waited until 11 pm even though we made request before 4 pm. The free buffet is also very average."

"Stayed at the end of trip to the Sunshine Coast. The hotel is situated in a great area of Brisbane but overall service wasn’t the best. We ate the Greek restaurant first night but couldn’t hear each other at dinner due to the construction noise outside. Hotel staff didn’t seem to care about it. Working in the industry I know the hotel was informed of this activity. But guests were not informed. I complained but the mangager was too busy to see me at reception. If I had known about the construction I would have made the reservation. Pool was overcrowded every day. Acoustics between room and corridor and terrace very poor. When someone operates the blinds you can hear and when they are on the phone in the terrace you can hear the calls. If you use the glassware or cups. You have to call reception to have them replaced otherwise when the room is cleaned they just take them away. The location is good though with good choices for other F&B venues so you don’t have to eat at the hotel!"

"Room was clean, fresh, and the location is great. One thing left a bitter taste though. I arrived in a business jacket and had a lovely chat with the receptionist at check in. Then she asked to verify my ID with a passport or driving licence. I said driving licence, and was told it had to be an Australian one, as they could not accept an international licence. This was clearly assumed based on my accent, even though I have lived in Australia for 26 years and been an Australian citizen for 20 of them. I would normally let this go. But it would have been better if the receptionist waited to see which licence I actually handed over, before jumping to conclusions based on how I sound. Aside from that, a genuinely lovely stay. Just a small moment that took the shine off an otherwise great experience."

From here you can explore the whole city without distant travel. Directly from the hotel you also have a walking bridge to South Banks. "The hotel's location is excellent, right on Queen Street. You can easily walk to South Bank just by crossing the bridge, and public transportation nearby is very convenient. My room type booking was incorrect due to an issue with Ctrip, but it was resolved very quickly, and the hotel staff were very proactive. The breakfast was good, and staying in a triple room with two people was very comfortable, as it had two bathrooms. Room cleaning was also done promptly. Overall, I highly recommend it. The front desk supervisor is Chinese and speaks Mandarin, which made communication very smooth."
