Guest UserOverall, I really liked the hotel. It's perfectly located on a quiet street, yet everything you need is nearby, and it's convenient and affordable to get to any part of the city. The staff at reception were all very welcoming; the lovely girl, Esoza, was particularly pleasant, and all the male staff were polite and attentive. You can approach them with any request 👍😊. The standard room is quite small, making it difficult for two people to move around freely 😁, but it has everything you need: slippers, excellent soft towels, and in the bathroom, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, and a comfortable shower with good drainage (no water pooling on the floor) and multiple settings. It's convenient that there are full-length mirrors on the room door and in the bathroom. The plumbing is excellent, and the room's interior is well-chosen. The bed and pillows are comfortable and soft. A thoughtful touch is the direct phone charging capability in the outlets, no adapter needed 👍.
There's also a kettle, cups, coffee, and tea. We found there weren't enough hangers for clothes – only two. But we asked reception, and they brought us two more!)
Breakfasts were decent, though sometimes there was no hot food (except scrambled eggs), or no jam or yogurt, or the coffee machine wasn't working. I was surprised that during cherry and apricot season, the only fruits available at breakfast were sliced oranges, apples, and pears, which were clearly imported and quite tasteless. Nevertheless, the staff definitely try their best, and you certainly won't go hungry 😊. Kudos for having dried apricots and walnuts!👍
By the way, we read reviews about the Chinese restaurant nearby (next door). We went for dinner and really regretted it. Only one waitress understood Russian, and she recommended a dish of chopped chicken pieces – it was a total disaster, mystery chicken parts with lots of tiny bones, and incredibly spicy. For something more recognizable, we also ordered potato slices, supposedly like Korean carrots, but they turned out half-stewed, half-raw. For two dishes and green tea, only managing to eat half, we paid 400,000 Sum. We'll remember it like a nightmare 😔. Thankfully, we later found perfectly acceptable eateries 👍.
Best wishes to everyone, and prosperity to the hotel! 🙏

Samir BagheriWe had a bit of confusion at check in, as both rooms were booked with breakfast, but the reception was not helpful and insisted that it is not, and I had to send them the confirmation email from trip.com (as they did not accept the trip.com application on my phone) to add the breakfast to our rooms.

We stayed at the Hilton Tashkent City and were extremely satisfied. The hotel fully met our expectations. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern, with a very comfortable bed, excellent housekeeping, and beautiful interior design.
We especially want to highlight the staff — everyone was very friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Check-in was quick, and the service throughout our stay was top-notch.
The breakfasts were varied and delicious, with a wide selection of dishes. The hotel's location is also excellent — close to a park, restaurants, and the city's main attractions.
Thank you to the entire Hilton team for a wonderful stay and hospitality! We would gladly return again and recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Kaixuanguilai!nieNew hotel! The twin room had two 1.3m single beds, not the 0.8m ones shown on the website. The draft beer at the lobby bar was good value at around 20 RMB for 0.5 liters. Breakfast was also good. Using a ride-hailing app linked to a credit card was convenient. The service was friendly. It's a 15-20 minute walk to Amir Timur Square, where you can catch the red double-decker hop-on hop-off bus for sights like the Amir Timur Museum, the Grand Bazaar, mosques, and other city attractions. We even ran into a Chinese tour group there.

alexsmiWe spent 3 nights at this hotel. It's a fantastic hotel located in a quiet neighborhood, boasting a cozy courtyard that hides three pools. As soon as we arrived, staff met us at the entrance and helped with our luggage. After completing the check-in formalities, we were shown to our room. The room was spotless and came with bottled water, replenished daily, along with toiletries, slippers, bathrobes, combs, and more. The air conditioning worked quietly even in the heat. Housekeeping was done daily. The next day, a buffet-style breakfast awaited us on the -1 floor. There was a rich selection, and we especially enjoyed the fresh fruits – melon and watermelon. Within the hotel grounds, there are three pools: one outdoor in the sun, and two indoor. There's also a Hammam and a Finnish sauna. Our stay at this hotel was worth every soum. We absolutely loved it. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tashkent. The location is very close to the road leading to the airport, a 7-minute taxi ride. The city bus stops right in front of the hotel entrance.

Humanity ProjectGreat value stay with excellent breakfast in Tashkent
We stayed at Viva Hotel in Tashkent and found it to be a comfortable and good value option.
The location is convenient. It is about a 12 minute walk to Kosmonavtlar Metro Station, and there are plenty of markets and places to eat within walking distance. It is easy to get around the city from here.
The room was very big and spacious. The beds were soft and very comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. The bathroom was decent, with a western-style toilet and enough space for a comfortable shower.
There is no TV in the room, and there are limited convenient plugs for charging devices. However, you can use one of the wall outlets that is normally used for the water boiler. The hotel provides tea and cups, which is a nice touch.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Only one of the three staff members spoke English, so you may need to use a translation app to communicate at times. Despite the language barrier, the staff were still accommodating and tried their best to assist.
Breakfast was excellent, with many options available. It starts early at 7:00 a.m., which is very convenient if you have an early morning train. If your train departs at 8:00 a.m. or later, you can still enjoy a quick breakfast before heading to the station.
There are elevators to access the rooms. Soundproofing is acceptable, not perfect, but not problematic either.
Overall, this hotel offers very good value for the price. The location is good, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are helpful. I would consider staying here again on a future visit to Tashkent.

Anonymous UserMy overall stay was very disappointing. All the hotel's facilities are severely outdated, and the room feels incredibly old. The bathroom, toilet, and shower equipment are all extremely old and unpleasant to use. The air conditioning isn't a modern central system; it's an old-fashioned window unit that's very noisy when running.
The pillow situation is also completely unreasonable. They only provide two identical, extra-high standard pillows that are hard. There are none of the memory foam pillows that are standard in hotels nowadays. My neck ached from sleeping on them, and I couldn't get a good night's rest. The hardware facilities simply don't meet the needs of younger travelers looking for a comfortable experience. I wouldn't recommend this place for young people seeking comfort.

Finding the hotel was challenging. Took me circumvate the entire train station twice when I finally called them for direction. Imagine the station is huge & with my luggages & crossing the security twice, even the security were clueless.
The front desk lady was sweet & nice to walk out & directed me. That was a huge help. I think they should place clear signages.
Check-In process was a nightmare. They couldn’t confirmed my booking even though I have shown the confirmed voucher online. After much deliberation they accepted my booking. Next come the payment. None of my cards was accepted even though i have been using them throughout my 2 weeks travel in Uzbekistan. They would not allow me to check in until full payment was made.
Since I only have USD, they insist that I change at the nearest bank. A nice consolation was that a young front desk staff willingly to walk me to the hotel. All these took me around 2 stressful hours walking in & out & around.
The hostel is very new. Super huge room, again brand new. Super clean. But I don’t understand why not a single basic amenities was provided; body soap or shampoo. The front desk however promptly provided upon request the following day.
I believe most who stayed usually 1-night.
The location was almost perfect, if only the hotel guests don’t need to keep going through the security scanning every each time both going in & out. Imagine I’m staying 3 nights.
My advice please ensure you have local SOM for payment in case your card is not accepted. The hotel is on the left end of the station (if you exit from the train looking towards the building station) it’s better that you call them once you feel lost as the assist you the direction. Just be mindful that you need to go through the security scan every each time you enter & exit.
However, if someone planning a train connection to other cities, this is 100% spot on recommended.
I would like to commend on the front staff lady, Dildora for her professionalism & calm demeanour. Thank you.

Anonymous UserThe room was okay, but I booked one with a balcony and got one without. I tried to sort it out through Trip.com, but they just kept saying there were no rooms available until, magically, one appeared in the end. 🙂

Ekaterina EA retro-style hotel.
Pros: Good location, close to a metro station, bank, public services center, market, mobile store, and delicious food. Quiet courtyard. There's a water cooler. They ask daily if you need housekeeping.
Cons: Bad mattress, the springs are very noticeable, even with a mattress topper.
Poor breakfast. The only fresh vegetables are cucumbers. Eggplant and cauliflower are fried in batter. Sausages are cheap. The cheese is processed. For fruit, only apples, and they're bruised. Instant coffee. If you go at 8 AM, the food is fresher; later, it's reheated with added oil, eggs are quickly fried, and the whites remain runny. Lots of pastries, but they're not tasty.
In a single room, there's only one cup. No kettle, and the water cooler doesn't have a hot water function.
I chose this hotel because I had issues with another booking. I had to choose quickly, and options were limited during the holidays. The hotel offers discounts and bonuses, it seems like management is trying to attract guests. But it would be much better if management reviewed the menu and invested in updating the furniture.
Upon check-in, you need to pay an additional tax amount. I paid cash, and they didn't have change. I had to ask for my change several times. They still didn't give me all of it back. So, be prepared with exact change.
The hotel has a pool, but in my opinion, the water in it is murky. I didn't use it. And I didn't see it being cleaned. There are two sun loungers by the pool. However, there are large trees around, so sunbathing isn't really possible. Overall, my impression is a 3 out of 5. I wouldn't stay here again.
