We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Tashkent for two days and were absolutely delighted! From the moment you step in, you feel that signature cozy DoubleTree vibe. They even give you warm cookies at check-in – such a lovely touch that instantly brightens your mood. We booked an upgraded room, which was very stylish with a modern design and hints of local flair. The bed was super comfortable with an excellent mattress; we slept like babies! We also appreciated the soundproofing. The bathroom had all the necessary amenities, soft robes, slippers, and great toiletries. Housekeeping was daily and discreet. Special thanks to Kanola and Rukhmon for their responsiveness and understanding; they were ready to help with literally any question we had. Overall, the DoubleTree by Hilton Tashkent is a fantastic option for a family vacation. We will definitely be back! ❤️

The hotel environment is lovely, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The view from the hotel window is also quite scenic. The staff provided exceptional service; when we had trouble setting the pick-up location for our taxi, a staff member even helped communicate with the driver to ensure they came directly to the hotel entrance to pick us up.

We stayed at the Hilton Tashkent City and were extremely satisfied. The hotel fully met our expectations. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern, with a very comfortable bed, excellent housekeeping, and beautiful interior design. We especially want to highlight the staff — everyone was very friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Check-in was quick, and the service throughout our stay was top-notch. The breakfasts were varied and delicious, with a wide selection of dishes. The hotel's location is also excellent — close to a park, restaurants, and the city's main attractions. Thank you to the entire Hilton team for a wonderful stay and hospitality! We would gladly return again and recommend this hotel to friends and family.

This hotel was excellent. Exceptionally clean rooms and very comfortable bed. The staff were excellent and in particular the restaurant manager Elbek who not only gave me first class food and drinks recommendations but organised transport for part of my travel. I ate in the restaurant each night as the menu was extensive and he recommended food and drinks I hadn’t tried before which were superb, and consequently I recommend their eggplant salad. I will stay in this hotel again on my way back through Tashkent. Also the hotel is near a metro station which gives access to plenty of things to see in the city such as the famous Soviet-era metro stations. A short walk from the hotel is the main square where you will see the contrasting buildings of Soviet architecture.

I rated the service highly because the guys at the reception were very helpful. I'm giving the hotel a high rating just because of them. As for cleanliness, it wasn't great. There was hair on the floor in the room, and the plumbing wasn't in very good condition. The mattress was a real disappointment... When one person turns over, the other 'rocks on the waves'. The food was delicious, and the interior is very beautiful. The hotel itself is stunning. Suggestions for improvement: better mattresses, non-leaky faucets, and a working hammam. (We happened to be there on a day when it was apparently broken... the steam generator was running non-stop. We told the reception, and the next day the hammam wasn't working, presumably being repaired. I hope it's fixed now). Thanks to the staff for their responsiveness and help 🌺

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days while passing through and had no regrets. The staff were lovely and helpful, they told us everything we needed to know and even arranged a car to the airport for us. The hotel was clean and cozy, and the breakfast was varied. It's close to both the airport and the train station.

The hotel is in need of renovation and updates. It's suitable for guests who aren't too particular. We stayed for one night, so it was fine. The breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly. After checking out, we had some time to explore, so we left our luggage. When we returned to pick it up, they kindly offered us complimentary tea and coffee at their cafe. The location is quite good, not far from interesting spots like Seoul Moon and Magic City. Overall, for the price, especially with breakfast included, it's a perfectly acceptable place to stay for a night or two.

The room was okay, but I booked one with a balcony and got one without. I tried to sort it out through Trip.com, but they just kept saying there were no rooms available until, magically, one appeared in the end. 🙂

Finding the hotel was challenging. Took me circumvate the entire train station twice when I finally called them for direction. Imagine the station is huge & with my luggages & crossing the security twice, even the security were clueless. The front desk lady was sweet & nice to walk out & directed me. That was a huge help. I think they should place clear signages. Check-In process was a nightmare. They couldn’t confirmed my booking even though I have shown the confirmed voucher online. After much deliberation they accepted my booking. Next come the payment. None of my cards was accepted even though i have been using them throughout my 2 weeks travel in Uzbekistan. They would not allow me to check in until full payment was made. Since I only have USD, they insist that I change at the nearest bank. A nice consolation was that a young front desk staff willingly to walk me to the hotel. All these took me around 2 stressful hours walking in & out & around. The hostel is very new. Super huge room, again brand new. Super clean. But I don’t understand why not a single basic amenities was provided; body soap or shampoo. The front desk however promptly provided upon request the following day. I believe most who stayed usually 1-night. The location was almost perfect, if only the hotel guests don’t need to keep going through the security scanning every each time both going in & out. Imagine I’m staying 3 nights. My advice please ensure you have local SOM for payment in case your card is not accepted. The hotel is on the left end of the station (if you exit from the train looking towards the building station) it’s better that you call them once you feel lost as the assist you the direction. Just be mindful that you need to go through the security scan every each time you enter & exit. However, if someone planning a train connection to other cities, this is 100% spot on recommended. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the interior design, which added a cozy and stylish touch to the stay. The location of Retro Palace is another strong advantage. It is conveniently situated near key attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, making it easy to explore the surrounding area without much hassle. Whether traveling for leisure or business, the accessibility of the hotel is definitely a plus. In terms of facilities, the hotel provides everything needed for a comfortable stay. While it may not be a luxury property, it delivers excellent value for money. The common areas are well-kept, and the overall ambiance is relaxed and inviting. I also found the check-in and check-out process to be smooth and efficient. One minor area for improvement would be the breakfast selection, which could benefit from a bit more variety. However, this did not significantly impact my overall experience, as there are many nearby dining options to explore. Overall, I would highly recommend Retro Palace to travelers looking for a comfortable, stylish, and reasonably priced accommodation. The combination of friendly service, convenient location, and unique design makes it a solid choice for anyone visiting the area. I would gladly stay here again in the future.
