Hotels with Breakfast in Bucharest

First of all, I'd like to thank the staff, who were always very friendly and helpful (there's even a WhatsApp messaging service for requesting information or services). The hotel is in a great location and is a new property, with modernly designed rooms that are spacious and equipped with multiple electrical outlets, perfect for charging your devices. The beds are really comfortable and the bathroom is a great size; I loved the kettle and the coffee machine with its various options, and I found a fresh bottle of water every day. Honestly, I would have liked to try breakfast at least one morning, but paying 150 euros for the room, spending 60 euros for two seemed a bit excessive. However, I understand that these are market dynamics and the price is probably fair. To be honest, I was kindly suggested to check the app to book it at a lower price (here on Trip, if I remember correctly, it was 23 euros), but after a few attempts, I couldn't find it and gave up, lol. Obviously 10/10. That being said, I thank and greet the staff once again for their helpfulness and kindness.

Erinomainen ja siisti hotelli. Loistava sijainti lähellä vanhaa kaupunkia. Vilkkaasti liikennöidyn kadun vieressä, mutta silti rauhallista yöpyä. Lähellä minimarket ja bakery. Ystävällinen palvelu ja henkilökunta. Monipuolinen aamiainen, mutta aamiaisravintola hieman meluisa ja sekava. Saunaosasto altaineen oli plussaa. Samoin oma parveke, mutta parveketuolit puuttui.

I was on a solo trip and the staff's English was excellent, making communication a breeze. Their service attitude was superb, and I had a fantastic experience! The restaurant, bar, spa, beauty, and nail services were all great. I'll definitely be back!

Our stay at the Mercure Bucharest was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service and warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room's amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She provided us with amazing suggestions for places to visit in Romania, turning our holiday into an incredible experience. Her local knowledge and enthusiasm made all the difference, guiding us to hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was the perfect way to start our days of sightseeing. The hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to Bucharest's main attractions and public transport. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Mercure Bucharest offers a welcoming and comfortable stay. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

I chose this hotel because it's close to my client. The location is quite convenient, very near to the North Station. If you've already bought your train tickets online, 20 minutes is plenty of time to get to the station. The area around the hotel is very lively. There's no ventilation system, so I could only open the window a crack to sleep. Haha, there were still people talking loudly and buses departing even at 3 or 4 in the morning.

I cannot fault this hotel. So perfectly situated without being noisy, lovely staff, fantastic and varied breakfast (with excellent coffee), a well appointed gym, spotless and spacious. Thank you for making a solo female traveller happy, well fed and safe.

Good budget hotel near the main train station and steps away from the metro and city bus stops. Hotel offers breakfast which I found to be varied and good quality. Plentiful options to be had. My only complaint would be that if you have any tours, or excursions like to the castles, they leave before the kitchen is open. Perhaps they could offer some type of boxed breakfast items for their guests who have purchased the breakfast option but cannot partake due to time constraints. Maybe a breakfast sandwich, yogurt, piece of fruit or a bottle of fruit juice, a muffin option and a bottled coffee or tea? That would make a very convenient option for guests who have excursions or must be at work functions before the kitchen opens. Either that or you really need to refund that days breakfast price if the guest cannot partake. The staff were all, to a person, dome of the most pleasant and helpful that I have come across in my travels. I would gladly stay in your hotel again the next time I am in this city.

In any self-respecting hotel, you would expect basic amenities like toothbrush holders in the bathroom. There were none, so we had to place our toothbrushes on the counter by the sink. Even simple items such as a shower cap were not provided. Housekeeping entered every morning without waiting after knocking. During heavy snowfall, the hotel made no effort to clear a path outside, and we had to walk through snow and frozen puddles to reach our taxi, while other hotels had cleared walkways for their guests. On our last morning, my husband went to buy a coffee and was sent to the dining room. When he made a coffee, a staff member immediately questioned whether we had paid for breakfast and called reception to check, without giving him a chance to say he would pay. She then loudly announced, “Sir! You haven’t paid for the coffee!” as if he were trying to steal. He paid immediately and didn’t even take the change. Overall, this hotel is no more than a three-star property. Management seemed absent, and the staff were unprofessional and inattentive

Getting there and parking was complicated, but the welcome and service were great. I quickly learned what a 'youth hostel' really means, LOL. Ten people in one room, with everyone chatting until 3 AM, made it impossible to sleep, not to mention the smell in the room. You can't shower at the same time as others, or there's no water pressure and the water just stops.
