The service is flawless—attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful without ever feeling intrusive. The rooms are extremely comfortable, beautifully designed, and perfectly suited for a slow, restorative stay. The surrounding nature is stunning, and the resort feels well integrated into its landscape, which adds a lot to the overall experience.
We stayed in December, and despite it being winter, the atmosphere was still incredibly pleasant and charming. The main pool does not operate in winter, but honestly, it doesn’t feel like a drawback at all—there is so much more to the property than the pool.
Breakfast deserves a special mention: it is excellent, with high-quality ingredients and great variety. I highly recommend trying breakfast in different restaurants during your stay, as each offers a slightly different experience.
Overall, Halekulani Okinawa is a refined, serene, and beautifully executed resort. A perfect choice for those who value comfort, service, and atmosphere over loud entertainment—even in the winter season.

BButterchocolateyStayed for 1 night at the hotel and everything was perfect. Feeling welcomed at the door with the staff greeting us and checking with our booking, followed by a welcome matcha and mochi then the check-in procedures. Since we booked the plan with dinner and breakfast, we got the time to enjoy the public bath area before heading to the restaurant for a scrumptious dinner, with sunset as the backdrop.
Breakfast on the next day is also a pleasant surprise with the Japanese set breakfast and free flow on pancakes that you can make on your own at the pancake machine, which is a satisfying if you crave for a taste of Western style breakfast. I would love to stay in this hotel again when revisiting Okinawa next time!

GGuest UserThis is a pet-friendly homestay. The owner of the homestay is very happy and friendly. There are cute and petite cats to greet. There are many food choices nearby. It will be more friendly for the driving family. Because the location is a relatively quiet place, it takes a short walk to walk to the street. YYutingIt's very clean and has a very high CP value. However, it's more like a serviced apartment than a hotel. The door has an electronic password lock, giving you the feeling of living in a Japanese residence! Although the area is not so lively, there is still Lawson. The hotel has a free coffee bar, and there are some restaurants a little further away. It is about a 15-minute drive from downtown Nago. I always go back to the hotel to rest after dinner. It is very convenient to go to the aquarium the next day. The super large bathtub is super comfortable to take a bath. They also provide diaper buckets and baby fences, which is very considerate!

Ssam1595The hotel is very close to the beach, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. The service was excellent, and the food at the hotel was also delicious. Our room had a washer/dryer and a small kitchen, which was incredibly convenient. The only minor drawback was that the gym didn't have any free weights.

GGuest UserI was innocently to believe there are several swimming pools from the hotel photo, but was disappointed that there is only one (hotel mentioned they have 3, actually is the same one but with shallower water at both sides).
We planned to swim and go outside in daytime and to enjoy the outdoor bath in our own terrace afterwards, but we found there were a lot of insects and flies at night, and we even not dare to open the terrace door to avoid the insects enter our room! The breakfast is a bit early to end at 10am. It is buffet style but not much good to eat. We only go for one day and find sth better to eat outside the rest of the days even though our room rate included breakfasts.
But Aquasense is still a lovely hotel! The room is really spacious and there were three large comfortable beds. The fridge is a home-use size with freezer which seldomly found in most hotels, we can store icecream there and can eat anytime we want to. And the view from terrace is amazing and feel relaxed to stay in the room with lots of sofas! Lastly, I must mention about the fireworks! Hotels launch the fireworks specially for summer in July and Aug, we can enjoy the fireworks at our own terrace. We all loved it so much and it is really an unforgettable experience,

GGuest UserThere are so many fun activities in the hotel. If you stay for three nights in the off-season, you will get free lunch. You can also participate in paid activities at a discount. It is a paradise for children. This year, it feels like the off-season is not off-season. All rooms are fully booked. Fortunately, the weather is good. Everything is worth it.

GGuest UserThis was exactly the kind of vacation room I was dreaming of! It had a balcony with an unobstructed, breathtaking ocean view, perfectly complemented by the stunning Okinawa blue – so relaxing. The bathroom wasn't huge, but it had a comfortable bathtub, and the toilet was in a separate room. The large public bath in the basement was bright and clean; just remember to bring your own towel. The front desk staff included a lovely lady from Taiwan, so communication was no problem. Parking is free, and there's a convenience store nearby, just a five-minute drive away.

GGuest UserBeautiful view and nice public bathhouse, but no cold plunge. The rooms are old and unrefined. Only two bright white overhead lights that cannot be dimmed, plus a single lamp on the nightstand that must be unplugged in order to plug in anything else near the beds, which are uncomfortable and creaky. Futon sets in the Japanese/Western room can only be used “with permission” and at an additional charge. Mini fridge sits on top of a baking sheet. Security latch for door does not have a corresponding part and is therefore is useless.

TTezpezMy boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Ocean Resort PMC. The location is convenient if you have diving plans, with the diving drop-off point right next to the hotel. There's also a surf and diving shop and school below where you can ask about lessons and equipment. Although we had already booked our diving elsewhere, it was just an 8-minute drive away, and they even drove us back to the hotel, which was a bit amusing.
Overall, the stay was fair, but there are a few things to note. After 11 AM, the elevator is not available, and the parking lot is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. However, there's a 24/7 convenience store just across the street, which is very handy. The ground floor has a washing machine that all guests can use. After 11 PM, you have to use the stairs, which can be a bit scary as there's no light. The hotel has a kitchen, but it lacks basic utensils.
For the price, I felt like I could have picked somewhere better, but the location and amenities were decent enough for our needs.
