"Located in Como city, the location is good, but there is no parking, so it is not suitable for pick-up and drop-off. There is a large supermarket just a 3-minute walk away, which was convenient.
The building itself is not new, but the interior is new. It was a cheap place to stay in this area. There is a full range of drinks, frozen foods, and snacks at the front desk, so you can get what you need there.
Even at supermarkets, they rarely have cold beer, so they do have a selection of cold drinks, although they are expensive."

"The hotel was clean and very well maintained. The bed was great and comfortable. We had the room in the attic. I would say it’s slightly less than what I would have expected for the price given that we didn’t have any windows looking out.
The location was fantastic. Super close to the lake and really nice restaurants. Furthermore, the train station was also a 5 minute walk away should you need it.
Would’ve been nice if the breakfast was included and/or reasonably priced."

Because the soundproofing and bed are the hard core strength of the hotel.
This hotel has both the warmth of a family hotel and the quality of a group hotel."

AAmariel-aroundtheworldI had such a lovely stay at this hostel and I truly recommend it! Even though I only stayed for one night, my experience was amazing and I would absolutely come back on future trips.
The beds are very comfortable and the bed linen is 100% cotton, which I really appreciated — it makes such a difference for a good night’s sleep. The bathrooms are very clean and warm, which is especially nice after a long day out.
I stayed in an 8-bed room and everything was very well organized. The whole building is beautifully decorated and has a really nice, welcoming energy. You can feel that care has been put into the space.
The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything. There’s also a garden and a terrace where you can enjoy coffee, tea, and water with free access. The kitchen offers free pasta, some vegetables, and other food options available for guests. I didn’t personally use this service, but it’s such a thoughtful touch to have it as an option.
It’s also a great place to connect with other solo travelers. They organize events like karaoke and comedy nights, which create a really fun and social atmosphere.
Overall, 10 out of 10. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in an industrial area, about a 10-15 minute drive from the center of Como. The establishment is new, clean, with modern and well-maintained facilities. There's a clear ambition to aim for a higher standard, perhaps even a 5-star rating, according to the manager. Unfortunately, some practices completely contradict this ambition.
Parking costs €18 per day, which seems excessive given the location outside the city center and the availability of a large free parking lot for other users (particularly padel players). This gives the impression that hotel guests are being penalized without good reason.
Breakfast is very limited for a hotel of this caliber: the buffet is incomplete, some dishes are extra and must be ordered separately, and there wasn't even orange juice, either on the buffet or the menu—only water and milk. This falls far short of 4- or 5-star standards.
The coffee capsules in the room cost €1.50, which is surprising and disappointing for an establishment that claims to offer high-end service. In the vast majority of 4- or 5-star hotels, this kind of service is included. It gives an impression of pettiness, contradicting the image the hotel tries to project.
The most disturbing point: staff entered my room in the evening, without warning, to perform a ”cleaning service.” I hadn't requested anything, and I noticed that some of my belongings had been moved. I don't like it when someone enters my room without my explicit permission or without informing me beforehand. This made me very uncomfortable. While evening housekeeping might be a service appreciated by some, it must be clearly announced or requested.
I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager. Instead of listening to my comments, he responded condescendingly, implying that I wasn't ”used to staying in 5-star hotels” and that this kind of behavior was, in his opinion, perfectly normal. A haughty and inappropriate response, far removed from the hospitality and professionalism expected in this type of establishment. As compensation, the manager offered me a €1.50 coffee capsule.
I hope this review will help future guests get a more realistic view of this hotel. For my part, despite the quality of the facilities, I wouldn't recommend it. Customer service, attentiveness, and respect for privacy are simply not there.

Room was clean and quiet, comfortable bed but pillows were too flat for me personally, parking is 5 mins away from hotel, breakfast was not a big selection but there was everything that we need. There is not gym that's why i 3 stars for the facilities. I recommend this hotel.

The service was great from the moment I checked in the bellboy helped with our luggage and we were served a complimentary drink. The bathroom was also very big. The location is convenient, about a 20-minute walk to Lake Como, and there are halal restaurants nearby.

Located just overlooking the beautiful lake como. A must visit to this place and hotel try and book the room facing the lake. Unfortunately when we tried it was completely full. Breakfast is really good and all staff were extremely courteous. Loved loved loved it

GGuest UserThe stay at the hotel exceeded my expectations. The cleaning was excellent. Breakfast was good. Additionally, it was possible to have coffee or tea in between. I'm very much satisfied and can recommend this hotel!
The only thing to be inproved is internet connection, which worked just occasionally but practically either didn't work or was very very slow - if you have no local sim card, it may be a crucial point for you.

SSandy PoohThe location itself is convenient, but unfortunately the overall experience didn’t match the price point. At check‑in, the staff was friendly and warm — and that was honestly the best part of the stay. The property is more like an Airbnb with no reception. The staff provided us basic information through WhatsApp. Although the name hotel is misleading and the Airbnb type style is not what we expected, the arrangement works fine with us.
The room felt dated and didn’t give the impression of being properly clean. Even small details, like the towels, were disappointing; they didn’t seem fully dry and the quality was lacking.
Breakfast was another letdown. We weren’t aware beforehand that it wasn’t served on‑site but instead at a café about a four‑minute walk away. While this might be fine on a sunny morning, during our stay it was raining in Como, and having to go outside just to get breakfast was far from ideal.
Overall, Convo Lake Como feels overpriced for what it offers. Between the dated rooms, lack of on‑site breakfast, and underwhelming amenities, I believe there are better choices in the area that provide more comfort and value for the same or even lower cost.

Clean, amazing location and good room. The only issue is that it was very dark since their windows are closed with outside blinds (see the photos). Overall not bad if you are staying for 1 night as we did.
