Holiday Inn Express Dresden Zentrum is located in the heart of the Old Town, just a 10-minute walk from Dresden Central train station and 12.5 km from Dresden Airport. Explore the city's rich history with a visit to Frauenkirche and Neumarkt Square, just a 15-minute walk away. Don’t miss the opportunity to climb The Dome’s 67-meter-high viewing platform for panoramic views of Dresden. Discover the stunning Zwinger Palace, a Baroque masterpiece, or take in the sights from Brühl’s Terrace, often referred to as the “Balcony of Europe.” Below, you'll find Dresden Fortress and the city’s only surviving original city gate. For cultural experiences, enjoy a concert, ballet, or opera at the renowned Semperoper, only 1.4 km away. Visit the animals at Dresden Zoo or take a relaxing stroll through the beautiful Grosser Garten Stadt Park. For shopping, wander along Prager Strasse, right outside the hotel, or explore the historic Altmarkt, the city’s central square, which hosts the famous Dresden Christmas Market every year. After a day of sightseeing, unwind in our newly refurbished guest rooms, equipped with air conditioning, a TV, free Wi-Fi, and flexible workspaces. Enjoy a drink from our lobby bar, which offers a selection of soft drinks, spirits, German lagers, and an international wine list. Plus, a free breakfast is always included to start your day right.

"The hotel room was very clean and the lobby was beautiful, but there were no TV programs available in any language other than German. It was the World Cup at the time, and we couldn't get any updates at all. It felt like we were cut off from the world! Logically, this should be an international modern hotel, but it only offers German programs and no other languages. We couldn't even understand the news, which is truly incredible. I hope the hotel can improve this and offer more diverse TV programs to cater to international guests!!"

It was clean and nice. The underground pool was quite deep, so it was fun. I was supposed to be assigned a room on the 1st to 4th floor, but all the rooms were taken, so I was given the 8th floor.

Check in was a breeeze starting from online check in to minimise waiting time and processing time. It was cold outside and room was nice and warm. Room was also really big and clean. The only and biggest downside is there is no door to the bathroom. I don’t understand why does the hotel has no bathroom door for a quad sharing room. To make things worse there was a mirror facing the entrance of the bathroom, which meant if there are people sitting on the bed looking at the mirror they could have a full view of what’s going on in the bathroom. Does not make any sense. Book if you are comfortable with an open bath.

We had a good night's rest at this hotel. It has a great location and new rooms with a good floor plan. This hotel was within 100 m of the Kreuzkirche Dresden so we were able to start our exploration of Dresden as soon as we got parked. The hotel's location is within 15 minutes walking distance of most of Dresden's main attractions that are south of the river and the good public transit in Dresden makes the city very easy to see lots. The room was nicely appointed with blackout curtains, a chair that transforms into a bed, a desk with a chair, large TV, coffee/tea station and some good lighting. The only complaint we had about the room was that the air conditioning was not strong enough during our stay but we had a pretty good night's sleep at this quiet hotel. I thought the bed was comfy and pretty standard to Premier Inn but my wife found the mattress to be too soft for her. The bathroom was nice and large with plenty of counter space and a large shower stall. There is this purple light you can turn on at night too so you don't disturb your partner which helps because it is a frosted glass door. It is very easy to get hot water in the faucet and shower here. The shower has an all in one body wash and the shower stall is huge compared to other hotels we've stayed at in Europe. If you use the hotel's covered parking it costs 20 euros a night and there is covered/secured parking that costs 12-20 euros a night. We went with the uncovered parking lot that had a man there 24/7 and it was 12 euros for the night. There is a street right in front of the hotel that has no signage for parking but the front desk told us that if you park there there is a 60 Euro fine if you're caught. We like breakfast in the morning at hotels we stay at in Europe but we found this one was very pricey. There are bakeries, cafes and even a McDonald's nearby that gave much better value for us. We felt the location and price for the hotel was perfect for our time in Germany and would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Dresden because there is lots to see in this city.

The hotel's location is convenient, the room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were comprehensive. The bed was comfortable and the soundproofing was also good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. Overall, it was a great experience with good value for money, and I would consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Dresden. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city's beautiful old town, attractions, restaurants, and public transport on foot. The hotel offers great facilities, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, creating a relaxing atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. The staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with any questions or requests. The highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast. The selection was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality food, delicious coffee, and something for every taste. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have enjoyed. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, outstanding service, and a perfect location. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dresden.

It’s a creative and colorful place with an exceptionally friendly staff! :) The location is great. Affordable places to eat and a Rewe are very close. The building is located in a quite backyard. You can sleep like a baby in the wild heart of the Neustadt and you can easily go to bars and dancing locations or have a drink at their own bar in the same building. Across the street you can dance at the „Ostpol“, Glühwein and beer gardens, designers and tons of art are just around the corner. I recommend leaving the tram at the „Bischofsweg“ station. There is also a Café at that corner where you can get gluten-free pancakes 😍

The location is very central. Dresden isn't that big, so staying anywhere in the old town is fine. This place feels more like a budget hotel, but the price isn't expensive either. Hotels in Dresden are much cheaper than in other cities. It's a bit old but clean and tidy. You can get sparkling water from the hallway. Check-out at noon is great. A highlight is being able to use the swimming pool and the outdoor hot tub/jacuzzi that can fit five or six people. After seeing it, I immediately went to Primark and bought a 7-euro swimsuit to use it. The pool temperature is higher than usual, which is nice. No need to bring a swimming cap. The sauna seems to be co-ed. I saw the men's changing room from the sauna! 😂 I quickly ran to get dressed when I saw someone walk by! 😱 You need to wear slippers to enter the pool area. Slippers aren't expensive to buy, and the hotel also provides disposable ones. There are music festivals in the square outside during summer, but you can't hear the sound. It's great for strolling around at night. We found the Japanese restaurant on the second floor, which has good reviews, to be particularly unappetizing, and the service was incredibly slow. Not recommended.

The hotel is right in the city center so very convenient for going around. The room is well-furnished, clean, modern, spacious and quiet. Its customer service is also great. A good staying choice for who has low budget.

🛏️🧼🚶♂️Very satisfied with our hotel stay, especially thanks to the spotless bathroom and fresh, brand-new-feeling bed sheets on a fluffy, comfortable mattress we honestly didn’t want to get up from. The location is super convenient — within walking distance of the Flixbus drop-off near the main station, close to the touristy old town, and surrounded by restaurants with a café right across the street. The only challenge was finding a nearby convenience store or gas station to grab basic snacks, as many places in the area seem to close relatively early. We arrived just before 10 PM and were likely the last check-in before the front desk closed for the night. That said, there’s an automated check-in machine available, so you likely wouldn’t be stranded if arriving later. Highly recommend staying here, and we would definitely return.

The air conditioner in the room was very noisy, and I complained to the front desk and didn't deal with it. Later, I called someone to see it and couldn't deal with it. The hotel has a location in the suburbs. The parking lot charges 16 euros.
