Had a very comfortable stay, everything was on point! Special shout-out to the *Guobao rou* (sweet and sour pork) at breakfast – it was even better than what you'd get at a restaurant. Plus, breakfast runs until 11 AM, which was perfect for our family of late risers. The hotel also has a laundry room and is close to the beach, so it was super convenient to wash clothes after a fun day out. If we come back to Weihai, we'll definitely choose City Express again!

First off, the hotel's location is fantastic. Weigao Plaza is right next door, and you can walk to the beach in about 3 minutes. From our room, we even had a partial sea view. The 'Sea Football Field' is a 5-minute walk, and there's a night market roughly 3-4 minutes away. Basically, everything you need for food, drink, and entertainment is super convenient, which really boosted our overall happiness. Most importantly, the hotel service was incredibly warm and welcoming, creating a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. On check-in day, the front desk gentleman even upgraded our room type using a HUAZHU membership discount. Our 8-year-old daughter is usually a bit shy, but she really enjoyed chatting with the front desk staff, both the gentlemen and ladies. They were patient and accommodating, even giving her a cute little hair clip, which she loved. She's already insisted that next time we're in Weihai, we have to stay here again. A big thank you to the hotel's wonderful staff for their warm service!

The service was excellent, very warm and attentive, and the environment was beautiful, making for a comfortable stay. They even thoughtfully prepared a welcome fruit platter and souvenirs, and the station pick-up and drop-off service was fantastic! 👍 The only minor issues were that the showerhead in the bathroom was dripping, and the smart assistant ('Xiao Du') was out of order, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything was great.

The views of Yuan Lake are fantastic, and you can even spot the high-speed train. My partner and I were very impressed with the Chinese restaurant's dishes. The 'Old Chef Cabbage' brought back childhood memories of home-cooked meals, and the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was quite authentic, though the batter was a bit thick. The sour radish and tripe dish was a great appetizer. The only minor drawback was that during the May Day holiday, there were a lot of families with children. The hotel's soundproofing isn't great, and the kids upstairs were running and jumping until past 10 PM. Plus, there was a persistent metallic noise coming from the ceiling.

While primarily catering to domestic travelers, this hotel is more than willing to accommodate international guests. The staff demonstrates genuine attentiveness and helpfulness, with smartphone translation apps facilitating smooth communication. We visited Weihai during the May Day holiday and chose the Weihai International Business Hotel, which is very close to the pier, to go to Liugong Island. It's a 15-minute walk to the pier. With children, we took a taxi, which was a 3-minute ride. After a long day at Liugong Island, we were exhausted and were able to quickly return to the hotel to rest. The room butler, Lina, provided exceptionally attentive service. She had already hung the children's laundry on the closet door and hung it out to dry by the window when we returned. The hotel is a state-owned enterprise. It was quite early, but the hotel was clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. The only downside was the slightly stiff bath towels. The view from the sea-view room was unbeatable. We could see the Liugong Island pier and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

You can see Bloubergstrand right when you wake up, and the beach is super close, just a short walk away. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, the environment and hygiene here are much cleaner, and there are no strange smells. Plus, the front desk lady was very helpful and accommodating; we arrived quite late at night, and she was still very attentive and responsible.

The standard room is over 100 yuan, which is the most affordable hotel I have stayed in this holiday. Courtyard 1 is in a very good location, with trees downstairs and windows facing the sea, with statues and museums visible. At night, after most tourists leave the island, it is very quiet and comfortable. Walking on the beach and touching a few cicada monkeys, I feel that the whole island is my own. It is comfortable.

This was my first time staying in a deluxe sea view king room at Rongcheng Nishi Haitai, and I was absolutely thrilled with the experience! Stepping onto the balcony, you're greeted by the stunning blue ocean – a panorama of sky blue and sea blue that really amplifies the sense of vastness. The room was spacious and clean, the king-size bed was just the right firmness, and the hygiene was meticulously done. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the hotel facilities were comprehensive, with a private beach right outside. It’s a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The forest scenery is incredibly healing, and it offers great value for money. I decisively extended my stay!

This hotel was recommended to my friend and booked. I only want to talk about one question this time: my friend is visiting the beach and wants to have lunch nearby before returning to the hotel to check out. After consultation with our hotel, we want to extend the stay for 2 hours (for free), even 1 hour is fine, because the friend returns to the hotel after dinner Checking out is convenient and saves time. The hotel declined (late check-out) and said it was not allowed according to hotel regulations. Normally, check-out is at 12 o'clock. My friend had to rush back and check out first, and then rush to the beach (to have dinner). If you can't even meet the basic requirements of guests (many hotels in the industry have delayed check-out until 2 pm or even 3 pm), why should you open a hotel? At the same time, after several days of observation, the hotel occupancy rate is not too high.
