KKinogegeOur trip to Weihai was made even more enjoyable thanks to this hotel's excellent service. Since we were on a road trip, the hotel's proximity to Torch 8th Street was perfect. If you're planning to visit Torch 8th Street, book this place without hesitation – it won't disappoint!
**Cleanliness:** The room was clean and tidy, and all the bedding and amenities were neatly arranged.
**Ambiance:** The hotel's atmosphere was elegant. Even though it's by the road, the soundproofing was excellent.
**Facilities:** They offer free parking, a gym, and a laundry room, all free of charge. It was my first time using a hotel laundry room, and the staff's help was fantastic!
**Service:** A huge thank you to all the front desk staff, restaurant servers, and cleaning ladies! Every single person deserves praise! First and foremost, their 'smile service' – though a short phrase – was consistently delivered. Every staff member greeted us with a warm hello, and even though it sometimes felt a little awkward, it truly made us feel welcome. Any communication with the front desk was met with prompt and effective responses. I've been dealing with gout recently and asked the front desk for ice for my pain – can you believe they gave me a huge bag? I almost felt embarrassed! I stayed for two days, iced for two days, and each time it was a massive bag. While ice packs aren't expensive, their service truly makes a great impression! Oh, and upon check-in, they gave our child a sand-digging set and a shell bracelet, which our kid absolutely loved! The toiletries they provide also smell wonderful – truly commendable!
Of course, everyone has their own experience, and I can't dictate others' opinions, but my two-day stay here was truly excellent. Weihai's winds may be strong, but its people are incredibly warm and welcoming. Grateful for the encounter, and I wish the hotel continued success! Keep up the great work! ❤️

Pros:
1. Upon check-in, a staff member helped me with my luggage from the lobby.
2. My child lost a toy accessory in the room during our stay and we couldn't find it. When checking out, I asked the staff to look for it again when cleaning the room. In the afternoon, the hotel informed me that they had two teams search for it and finally found it. I'm very grateful, and they even helped arrange for it to be sent back to me with payment on delivery.
3. During one of the cleanings, they left two extra bottles of water and a note, indicating they noticed formula milk powder in the room and that more water might be needed for mixing it.
4. The male staff member in a black suit I met in the hallway and the female cleaner I met the next morning greeted me very politely.
5. During breakfast, a very tall manager and other service staff saw me with my young child and proactively offered to cook the noodles longer and even brought them to my table. When I mentioned that the yogurt was gone, they responded and refilled it very quickly.
6. The room has a great view, offering panoramic views of the beach and the pier.
Cons:
1. There were no Little Prince children's amenities or daily yogurt, which I had read about in other reviews.
2. The non-smoking floor was a joke. There was always a smell of smoke in the hallway, and there was an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the windowsill in the hallway right in front of our room. After I moved it to the trash bin near the elevator, a few hours later, a plastic box full of cigarette butts had replaced it in the original spot. After I reported this to the hotel, their only response was that the guest across the hall was smoking in the corridor and they had aired it out, with no other action taken.
3. The provided baby bed rail couldn't be fixed securely and was ineffective. At our request and prompting, they brought ropes to tie it down (at the previous hotel we stayed at, the bed rail was already tied and secured before our arrival).
4. During the mid-stay cleaning, they didn't notice clothes dropped on the floor, and the duvet was just folded haphazardly. However, they did proactively drain the water from the bathtub.
5. The hotel room card could open a door leading to the beach, but we weren't informed about this. We only found out from a passerby.

GGuest UserI stayed at two hotels in Weihai, and now I know the difference! This one is truly excellent. The hotel is right across from Jiulong City and Jiajiayue supermarket. Despite being on a high floor, it's very quiet even with the windows open. As for the amenities, everything is brand new, yet there's no unpleasant smell. The TV offers live channels and screen casting, and you can control the curtains with XiaoDu (a smart assistant). The decor is quite luxurious. The duvet and sheets are cotton, feeling warm as if sun-dried, perhaps because the room faces west. Everyone agreed it was a very comfortable sleep. Finally, the service was incredibly warm; every staff member was gentle and attentive. Breakfast was great, with seafood porridge being a highlight, and the sushi was also delicious. There was a wide variety of desserts, but I was too full to try them all. The restaurant environment was lovely, and the service was enthusiastic. A suggestion: adding an air diffuser in the lobby would elevate the ambiance even more. Lastly, there's turndown service, with milk delivered directly to the room. Plus, complimentary fruit and a free mini-bar. The most thoughtful touch was a handwritten card. Compared to the other hotel, Plu*** (similar price), this one is a clear winner. Plu*** is seriously cutting costs, so choose wisely everyone!

The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Many thanks for giving me a free room upgrade, to let me check in early and let me place my little folding bicycle in the room. Had a great stay.

2. The hotel is perfectly located, with a delicious breakfast and local food stalls nearby. Located in the easternmost part of Shandong, ”purple air rises from the east, the sun rises from the east”!
3. A great place for a relaxing (and slow-paced) getaway with children. During holidays, the area is sparsely populated, the environment is beautiful, the seafood is excellent, and there's virtually no commercialization. There's also a New Energy Science and Technology Museum nearby, where you can bring your children to experience nuclear power!
4. The hotel is very cost-effective during non-holidays!

GGuest User🌟Cleanliness: We stayed in a suite for three consecutive nights, and received welcome fruit daily. The room was also very clean.
🌟Environment: The room was large and new, with a modern Chinese style. Even with four people, the suite had enough space, and there were three sinks so there wouldn't be any conflicts in the mornings.
🌟Service: We were very satisfied with the service. From the front desk to room service, everything was excellent. We could easily reach out for anything we needed, and the efficiency was very high. Since we had a large group, they even provided airport shuttle service! 👍👍
🌟Location: It's quite close to Huoju 8th Street. Taxis to the north are generally around 10 RMB, which is very cheap. It's also very close to Shandong University, where the food street is delicious.

GGiles ChaplinCheck-in, especially as a foreigner, was quick and seamless. The rooms were spacious, clean and the view was awesome. The location couldn't have been better - through beautifully manicured gardens, directly onto the beach.
Both the breakfast buffet and the evening buffet were very well-prepared and delicious, with both Chinese and Western cuisine. However, we found the breakfast and dinner times a bit tight for a relaxing holiday time. Breakfast stopped serving at 9 30am and dinner at 8pm.
All in all, we found the hotel and staff very well appointed, good value, and we will definitely return soon - a relaxing getaway from hectic city life in China!

KKittenMacMuffinThis stay was amazing. The room was very spacious and extremely clean, with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The shower was large with strong water pressure, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was also nicely warm, which was especially important for us as we stayed during winter.
The absolute highlight was the huge panoramic window with a stunning view of the wrecked ship. The hotel is located right on the beach, making it easy to be among the first to take photos of the ship in the morning. Having a bathtub placed in front of the panoramic window created a truly unique and atmospheric experience.
The hotel also has a lovely café in the lobby with delicious food and drinks. While the breakfast was a bit simpler than a typical European buffet and required some waiting, it was still a nice addition to the stay.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Overall, this hotel offers fantastic views, comfort, and a memorable atmosphere—I would definitely recommend it.

GGuest UserI specifically chose to visit the seaside during the off-season, partly to scout it out for future trips. On my first day, I booked a guesthouse right by the sea, but I wanted to change places the very day I checked in. The next day, I decisively moved to this hotel across the road, and the comfort level was incomparable. The decor is simple yet elegant, the room is spacious, and the cleanliness is excellent. They have 24-hour hot water, and the amenities are very comprehensive, exactly as pictured and described. The several housekeepers and the manager are all very kind and happy to answer any questions. It’s a three-to-five-minute walk to the beach, where the water is clear and looks shallow and very calm. There’s also a scenic mountain trail nearby for hiking. The seagulls here are probably used to being fed; they gather on the beach and don't seem to want to leave. And neither did I! I ended up extending my stay here for another week.

GGuest UserThe owner is super nice; it was really interesting chatting with him and learning a lot about hostel culture, which he really values. 👍🏻 The common area downstairs has a great atmosphere and you often meet people from all over the world. The location is also fantastic, very close to Hanlefang and Weihai Station. There's a lively sports park just a short walk away. And the cat 'manager' is very well-behaved!
