KKinogegeOur trip to Weihai was made even more enjoyable thanks to this hotel's excellent service. Since we were on a road trip, the hotel's proximity to Torch 8th Street was perfect. If you're planning to visit Torch 8th Street, book this place without hesitation – it won't disappoint!
**Cleanliness:** The room was clean and tidy, and all the bedding and amenities were neatly arranged.
**Ambiance:** The hotel's atmosphere was elegant. Even though it's by the road, the soundproofing was excellent.
**Facilities:** They offer free parking, a gym, and a laundry room, all free of charge. It was my first time using a hotel laundry room, and the staff's help was fantastic!
**Service:** A huge thank you to all the front desk staff, restaurant servers, and cleaning ladies! Every single person deserves praise! First and foremost, their 'smile service' – though a short phrase – was consistently delivered. Every staff member greeted us with a warm hello, and even though it sometimes felt a little awkward, it truly made us feel welcome. Any communication with the front desk was met with prompt and effective responses. I've been dealing with gout recently and asked the front desk for ice for my pain – can you believe they gave me a huge bag? I almost felt embarrassed! I stayed for two days, iced for two days, and each time it was a massive bag. While ice packs aren't expensive, their service truly makes a great impression! Oh, and upon check-in, they gave our child a sand-digging set and a shell bracelet, which our kid absolutely loved! The toiletries they provide also smell wonderful – truly commendable!
Of course, everyone has their own experience, and I can't dictate others' opinions, but my two-day stay here was truly excellent. Weihai's winds may be strong, but its people are incredibly warm and welcoming. Grateful for the encounter, and I wish the hotel continued success! Keep up the great work! ❤️

Pros:
1. Upon check-in, a staff member helped me with my luggage from the lobby.
2. My child lost a toy accessory in the room during our stay and we couldn't find it. When checking out, I asked the staff to look for it again when cleaning the room. In the afternoon, the hotel informed me that they had two teams search for it and finally found it. I'm very grateful, and they even helped arrange for it to be sent back to me with payment on delivery.
3. During one of the cleanings, they left two extra bottles of water and a note, indicating they noticed formula milk powder in the room and that more water might be needed for mixing it.
4. The male staff member in a black suit I met in the hallway and the female cleaner I met the next morning greeted me very politely.
5. During breakfast, a very tall manager and other service staff saw me with my young child and proactively offered to cook the noodles longer and even brought them to my table. When I mentioned that the yogurt was gone, they responded and refilled it very quickly.
6. The room has a great view, offering panoramic views of the beach and the pier.
Cons:
1. There were no Little Prince children's amenities or daily yogurt, which I had read about in other reviews.
2. The non-smoking floor was a joke. There was always a smell of smoke in the hallway, and there was an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the windowsill in the hallway right in front of our room. After I moved it to the trash bin near the elevator, a few hours later, a plastic box full of cigarette butts had replaced it in the original spot. After I reported this to the hotel, their only response was that the guest across the hall was smoking in the corridor and they had aired it out, with no other action taken.
3. The provided baby bed rail couldn't be fixed securely and was ineffective. At our request and prompting, they brought ropes to tie it down (at the previous hotel we stayed at, the bed rail was already tied and secured before our arrival).
4. During the mid-stay cleaning, they didn't notice clothes dropped on the floor, and the duvet was just folded haphazardly. However, they did proactively drain the water from the bathtub.
5. The hotel room card could open a door leading to the beach, but we weren't informed about this. We only found out from a passerby.

GGuest UserI brought my parents and in-laws, all four seniors, to Weihai for a holiday and we stayed at the hotel for two days. During the day, complimentary fruit was provided, and in the evenings, we received bedtime milk, which all the seniors greatly appreciated. My mother, in particular, has difficulty with her legs and lower back, making it hard for her to stand while showering. The housekeeping supervisor and cleaning auntie on the 15th floor were incredibly warm and thoughtful, bringing a plastic stool and a foot-soaking tub so my mother could shower sitting down and soak her feet comfortably. The housekeeping manager, upon learning that we had to catch an early train the next morning, even specially arranged for the dining department to pack breakfast for us, and prepared a sugar-free meal bag for my father-in-law who has diabetes. The service response was astonishingly fast; as soon as a request was made, it was immediately resolved. Room cleaning was prompt and thorough, and the bedding was changed frequently and neatly, so we felt very confident about the hygiene. Every detail made us feel warm and comfortable.

GGuest UserI really love this hotel. Central, clean and comfortable. Liked the big picture of a greek island on the wall above the bed in my room, the view towards the harbour too. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Many thanks for giving me a free room upgrade, to let me check in early and let me place my little folding bicycle in the room. Had a great stay.

WWU*KONG1. A beautiful coastal city steeped in Shandong culture, ”Exquisite City, Happy Weihai”! ”Beautiful Shidao” is perfect for a relaxing getaway!
2. The hotel is perfectly located, with a delicious breakfast and local food stalls nearby. Located in the easternmost part of Shandong, ”purple air rises from the east, the sun rises from the east”!
3. A great place for a relaxing (and slow-paced) getaway with children. During holidays, the area is sparsely populated, the environment is beautiful, the seafood is excellent, and there's virtually no commercialization. There's also a New Energy Science and Technology Museum nearby, where you can bring your children to experience nuclear power!
4. The hotel is very cost-effective during non-holidays!

GGuest User🌟Cleanliness: We stayed in a suite for three consecutive nights, and received welcome fruit daily. The room was also very clean.
🌟Environment: The room was large and new, with a modern Chinese style. Even with four people, the suite had enough space, and there were three sinks so there wouldn't be any conflicts in the mornings.
🌟Service: We were very satisfied with the service. From the front desk to room service, everything was excellent. We could easily reach out for anything we needed, and the efficiency was very high. Since we had a large group, they even provided airport shuttle service! 👍👍
🌟Location: It's quite close to Huoju 8th Street. Taxis to the north are generally around 10 RMB, which is very cheap. It's also very close to Shandong University, where the food street is delicious.

GGuest UserCame to Rongcheng with the kids. School's starting soon, so we took advantage of the off-peak season for a trip. The room was really spacious, big enough for us and the kids, and very clean. I only noticed when we arrived that they also have family rooms, definitely want to try one next time if we get the chance. It's super convenient with clam digging and Cherry Blossom Lake nearby. The front desk service was also excellent, they even invited us to join their Lantern Festival activities, haha!

GGuest UserA once-in-a-lifetime romance, waking up in this room, outside the window is the sleeping 100-year-old Bruvis, if you ask me what the biggest surprise of this trip is, I will not hesitate to say that it is the location of this hotel. Originally, I came for the sea view here, but I didn't expect to move the ”history textbook” directly to my eyes. The moment I opened the curtains in the early morning, I was really shocked to the blue sea, lying quietly on the famous Bruvis shipwreck (MV Rena). This feeling is very wonderful. On one side is the sparkle of sunlight on the sea, and on the other is the wreckage of a rusty giant wheel, as if time and space are interlaced at the moment. It is no longer a word in the news, but the daily scenery outside your window.
This is not only a hotel, but also for this eye, it is worth a special trip. This room is the most memorable footnote on this trip.

GGuest UserThe room smelled lovely, I really liked the aroma. From the window, you could see nearby Half Moon Bay, and the beach was just a few minutes' walk away. It was perfect for waking up to watch the sunrise, then heading back for a nice sleep. The little welcome amenities were also a nice touch. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.

GGuest UserThe owner is super nice; it was really interesting chatting with him and learning a lot about hostel culture, which he really values. 👍🏻 The common area downstairs has a great atmosphere and you often meet people from all over the world. The location is also fantastic, very close to Hanlefang and Weihai Station. There's a lively sports park just a short walk away. And the cat 'manager' is very well-behaved!
