The hotel is about a ten minute drive from Hami Station. There is a street with a row of barbecue shops in a row nearby, plus other places to eat nearby. I selected this hotel because I saw it had hosted foreign guests before. When I was there (August 2024), the staff were giving out slices of melon at reception in the afternoon. The breakfast selection was good, my room was pretty quiet, and the laundry room had two washing machine but no dryer (but in August, the air is dry anyway). All the staff were friendly.

Although the room is not particularly large, the layout is compact and reasonable, and there is no sense of crampedness at all. The pillows in the room are very comfortable, and the sleep quality is directly maximized. When checking out, I specifically asked the front desk beauty to buy two pillows of the same hotel for my home. Overall, Hami Aifei Hotel is very cost-effective, with a superior location, comfortable and clean rooms, and warm and thoughtful service.
