"This is a newly opened hotel, and I've stayed at a few new places before, but this one truly nailed the odor removal – the room was clean, tidy, and completely free of any strange smells! I booked a special large room, and because they had plenty available, the lovely front desk manager upgraded my room type and even gave me two complimentary drinks [strong]. It would have been even better if the parking lot was a bit closer, haha~ Overall, it was a good experience and definitely deserves a five-star rating."

TTeacherLiIt's a very new hotel, and the service was quite professional, but the prices during the National Day holiday were really expensive! I stayed on the first floor, and according to the hotel, it was an upgraded courtyard room. Two rooms were booked, and the facilities were both good.
Facilities: Problem 1: My friend's room next door had a courtyard that connected to the main road, and there was a gap in the fence allowing entry and exit.
Problem 2: I couldn't get out of my room this morning; the security lock on the door was stuck… a hotel staff member had to jump in from the small courtyard outside to open it.
Service: The handling process was okay; this room received a 30% discount. For such a large hotel, it wasn't particularly grand.

QQimiaodedengtaThe purpose of this trip to Benxi was twofold: Firstly, to take my seventy-year-old parents back to Benxi Water Caves, revisiting a place from their vibrant youth and reliving those passionate memories. Secondly, it was to help my daughter de-stress before she transitions from primary to junior high, as she's about to step into the demanding arena of life.
**Reason for choosing this place:** We picked Guan Shan Lake Xikang Yunshe because its online photos were simply breathtaking – showcasing stunning scenery, lush greenery, magnificent views, and picturesque beauty that truly captivated me and made me want to experience it firsthand. (Honestly, with so many guesthouses and hotels sprouting up across Benxi like mushrooms after rain these past two years, to avoid decision paralysis, I simply picked the top-ranked one.)
**First Impression:** The mountains were in a languid slumber, while the clouds playfully sketched the outline of a castle. At three in the afternoon, the golden sunlight pierced through the clouds, bathing the grey castle in a glow that felt like a divine touch and special favor. (Though this description might seem a bit exaggerated, I believe even Eileen Chang would write it this way.)
Let me discuss the facilities, hygiene, environment, service, unique hot springs, and buffet breakfast all at once:
* **Facilities:** Among all hotels I've stayed at in the same price range, these are personally the most satisfactory and my favorite.
* **Hygiene:** There's still room for improvement. I admit I have exceptionally high standards for cleanliness; my husband, whose pocket money has been depleted by my pickiness, can attest to that.
* **Environment:** The advantages here are self-evident: blessed with unique green mountains, clear waters, and swirling mist. There's simply no room for me to find fault, and I suspect the people of Benxi wouldn't allow it anyway!
* **Service:** I deliberately tried to count the staff members I encountered: two doormen, four charming front desk staff, a villa driver, a room cleaning attendant, kitchen/delivery personnel, staff in the hot spring area, and dining areas... Oh, never mind, I confess my math isn't good enough to count them all. In short, every staff member I met was patient, caring, and dedicated. Their service was perfectly balanced, attentive without being overly enthusiastic. Yes, the hotel management behind the scenes certainly deserves a grand commendation.
* **Unique Hot Springs:** Both my mom and daughter had a wonderful time soaking. My daughter was thrilled because there was unlimited ice cream available, which she could openly and freely enjoy – something I don't usually permit at home. My mom, in turn, was happy seeing her daughter so joyful. Given that the ice cream was actually quite high-quality, I even broke my own rule and indulged in quite a bit. It wasn't just about taking advantage of something free; it was more about not wanting to be a hypocrite with one rule for them and another for me. There were also plenty of unlimited fruits and snacks, perfect for quenching thirst and cooling down.
* **Buffet Breakfast:** The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety. I prefer strong flavors in the morning and enjoyed a generous amount of boiled shrimp, baked beans in tomato sauce, Italian beef brisket, bacon, and homemade yogurt. For those who prefer lighter options, the traditional Chinese breakfast choices were truly dazzling.
**A Side Note:** At 4:27 AM, I leaned by the hot spring pool in my room. The water temperature was 37.2 degrees Celsius, exactly half a degree higher than my body temperature – just enough to help my tense nerves loosen their first button. True enjoyment, I realized, is found in places where even time seems to slow down. At that moment, I gazed at the mist still lingering over the distant mountains and fields outside my window, then slowly closed my eyes, drifting back into a soothing dream, only to be awakened by: ”Mom, Mom, Mom, is the hot spring water ready for me?!”

GGuest UserThe experience of staying at Hanting Benxi Railway Station Hotel is great! The front desk is warm and thoughtful, and considerate from check-in to check-out. The room is fully equipped, and details such as USB charging ports and free mineral water are super bonus. The hygiene is even better, the room and public areas are spotless. The location is right next to the railway station, convenient for travel, and the price-performance ratio is full. Highly recommended!

TTaoqibenxiongThe boss is very nice. My children want to experience the fire kang. They specially provide me with a rich breakfast for only 10 yuan per person. They also caught the wild vegetable buns, which are very delicious. The children like it very much. There are many swallows' nests under the eaves here. At night, the little swallows flew back and saw the Big Dipper rising up the mountain. It was a pleasant trip to pick a lot of wild vegetables.

SSam and LeeFantastic find after our usual hotel was under renovation. Location was just outside the railway station so highly convenient especially if you are carrying multiple luggages. There is washing machine and a dryer available which we were able to use without any issues and the room was nice and warm with hot water.
The only issue I had was getting to the dining area where you need to use the stairs to access a hidden part of the building. Breakfast was decent!

GGuest UserI am very glad that I chose Fengxiang Valley Hot Spring Hotel. The hotel has a good environment, clean and sanitary conditions and complete facilities. I have to say something special about the service. The front desk staff was very nice. After we checked in, one of them actually helped us take our things to the room. She then told me her last name was Meng and that she was my service butler. I could send her a WeChat message if I had any requests. I was really warmed at that moment. We chose a room with a private pool. There are many hot springs in the hotel, both indoors and outdoors. However, due to the cold weather, we did not go to the outdoor pool. The child loved playing in the indoor children's water play area. There was also a large swimming pool next to it. She also learned how to swim from her father. The breakfast was also very rich. The coffee made by the coffee machine is good ☕️ We ordered home-cooked dishes at the hotel restaurant for dinner. The children liked the roasted eggplant and Chinese cabbage meatballs very much. I feel very comfortable when I get up in the morning, open the balcony door and breathe in the fresh air. In short: this is a hotel that values privacy and quality, and we hope to keep this up. Will visit often in the future.

GGuest UserThe overall service at Mangu Town is excellent! The staff who serviced our room were especially exceptional, patient, caring, and very understanding. However, I declined to view the private bath room before booking, simply looking at the pictures online. And it wasn't because it was fully booked and inconvenient to view! Upon entering the room, it smelled strongly of dampness and was cramped. Most puzzling was that the private baths were only drained once a day and couldn't be freely drained. With such a large temperature difference between morning and evening, draining the water once only allows for a single soak. If you want to soak again, you have to go to the public area. This seems to defeat the purpose of private baths. What's the point of paying the private bath price to stay in a damp, moldy, and cramped private bath room when you can't choose to do so multiple times? Why not stay in the slightly cheaper, brighter, and more spacious River Valley rooms? This makes me wonder why so many empty rooms aren't open for viewing, only pictures!
