**Environment:** The hotel is part of the Mengxi Courtyard, and the entire property is incredibly scenic, with beauty at every turn – the official photos are completely reliable. The video offers a panoramic view of the hotel's inner courtyard, where the rock garden landscaping is both ambitious and truly stunning.

**Cleanliness:** The guest rooms are furnished with solid wood furniture and are impeccably clean. The bedding and towels are of comfortable quality, clean, and neatly arranged.

**Service:** Before arrival, a dedicated butler reaches out via WeChat to discuss your basic needs, making the check-in process incredibly smooth and convenient. Throughout our stay, communication via WeChat was easy and prompt. During our two-day stay, we were offered both Chinese and Western breakfast sets, which were rich in variety and thoughtfully prepared.

**Facilities:** We stayed in a twin room, and while the bathroom and bedding were very comfortable, the overall room layout was rather disappointing. There were only two small chairs, with no desk or sofa. The bathroom features GROHE brand fixtures, and the toiletries are by 'Cha Ling,' which really highlights the hotel's upscale positioning and sophisticated style. However, the lighting in the vanity area wasn't ideal for applying makeup, and the absence of a magnifying mirror and a full-length mirror was quite inconvenient. While the smart lighting controls were designed quite user-friendly, their placement relative to the bedside wasn't very logical, often requiring a bit of a stretch to reach them.

We came to Hangzhou with our family. The hotel boasts a very strong sense of design, and all its facilities are quite comprehensive. The bed was also very comfortable. Overall, we were extremely satisfied. Breakfast was also excellent and varied, even including complimentary mung bean soup and fruit. The staff at the front desk, particularly a very kind young lady, provided patient and wonderful service. This hotel is an excellent choice whether you're visiting for leisure or on a business trip.

I booked this hotel for its good location, but it exceeded my expectations. It is a few hundred meters from the subway entrance and right by the canal. We also ran into a small market stall and could enjoy the night view along the river at night. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas, and the breakfast also included delicious noodles cooked by Xianxian. I was very satisfied with this stay

The environment of the community is good, but the furniture in the room is a bit old, the sofa is torn, and the floor is peeling. The bathroom is so big, but the shower room is so small. It is difficult for a fat person to turn around. There are ants crawling in the bathroom. It is equipped as a B&B. There were very few things, including no laundry detergent. The suitcase had to be dragged along a relatively uneven decorative road, which was very inconvenient. The wheels were very worn and noisy. The security guy's service is better than that at the front desk. Not cost effective

This hotel is truly a hidden gem in the city, conveniently located downtown with easy access to everything. It feels less like a typical hotel and more like its name suggests, 'Living in Seclusion Amidst Prosperity.'

**Seclusion:** It offers a tranquil escape in the midst of a bustling area. The medieval-style corridors and the glamorous, nostalgic charm of Old Shanghai truly set the mood. **Prosperity:** Many small details are exceptionally well-executed. Room numbers aren't just cold, mechanical figures; instead, they're vibrant single characters.

A special mention must go to their butler service. It's like having an all-in-one front desk concierge, with a sweet-smiling and attentive lady. If you order takeout and put in your room number, the butler will personally deliver it to your room. For breakfast, a butler guides you to the restaurant. The complimentary master-crafted cocktail bar voucher also comes with the same excellent service – if you wish to sample drinks, simply head to the front desk and a butler will lead the way. Whatever you need, just ask the butler.
