The location is excellent, with many tourists around. The room is a bit small, and it has a mini-fridge. The soundproofing is average. However, there's no bottled water in the room, so you have to buy it yourself. I only discovered a water dispenser at the side door (parking lot) when I was leaving. The machine in the room, which I initially thought was a coffee machine (but there were no coffee capsules), turned out to be just a water heater. But you can't take it to the bathroom to fill it up. There's no kettle to fill water, so am I supposed to fill the water heater cup by cup? Plus, the inside of the water heater wasn't clean, so it's better to just buy bottled water.

The room rate is so expensive, yet no bottled water is provided. And no staff member informed me that there's no bottled water supply in the room, nor did they tell me about the water dispenser's location 😒

We had an amazing stay at V Hotel Lavender. Front desk staff member Cecilia was very accommodating and friendly, and checking out was seamless and fast using their kiosk. They even offered to store our luggage for safekeeping so we could explore the area without having to carry it. I also appreciated details like avoiding single-use plastic water bottles and providing places where guests can leave paper bags for others to reuse. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Hotel Mi Rochor is located near Bugis MRT station on the EW line, close to Little India. The overall environment feels safe and secure, and an Ibis hotel is directly across the street. It's about a 12-minute walk from the MRT station, and currently, the main road in Bugis is under construction, which causes a slight inconvenience. This is an economy-compact hotel, and for its price and amenities, it offers excellent value for money. The room has a direct drinking water tap. While the soundproofing is average, it's satisfactory given the price point. There are food courts, convenience stores, and a McDonald's nearby.

This hotel offers the best of both worlds: excellent transportation and spacious rooms. It's directly connected to the Raffles Place MRT station, and Raffles City Shopping Centre is right downstairs. Getting to Marina Bay and Orchard Road is incredibly convenient, and Changi Airport is just a 20-minute drive away. The standard room size starts at 45 sqm, which is perfectly ample for a family of four (two adults, two children), making it very family-friendly. The mini-bar is well-stocked, and thoughtful details like TWG tea and Le Labo toiletries are a definite plus. The laksa and kaya toast for breakfast are also worth trying. If there's a downside, it would be the higher price point, making it ideal for families with a generous budget who prioritize location and space.

I genuinely think this place is fantastic! It was the cheapest room I could find that met my requirements. I initially thought that because it was so inexpensive, it would be in a very remote location, but it turns out there are two bus stops right outside. I also found the staff to be very patient. I don't speak English, but they were very patient with me, using a translator and even gestures. They were very enthusiastic, and the cleaning ladies would always greet us when they saw us.

The room was clean and tidy, with all the essentials. There was a direct drinking water tap, and a kettle too, so I filled a bottle every day before heading out. The location is superb; it's about 150 meters to the hotel entrance if you turn right after exiting B at Bugis MRT Station (Blue Line). Getting to Changi Airport is also convenient; you can take the train to Expo and then transfer to the Green Line, which takes about 40 minutes. The Yellow Line MRT station is also nearby, and it's very close to Fort Canning Park. As for others mentioning poor soundproofing, my room was in the farthest corner on the 2nd floor, and it was very quiet at night. If you're a light sleeper, you can communicate your request to the front desk. There's a 7-Eleven right next door, and Ya Kun Kaya Toast isn't far either. Nearby, there's also the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple and a hawker center, which is great for lunch and dinner. Those interested can explore the surroundings; Chinatown is just two subway stops away. On my last day, since my flight was in the afternoon, I was able to temporarily store my luggage at the hotel after checking out. All in all, for first-time visitors to Singapore traveling with no more than two people, I highly recommend this place.

I had a great stay at Hotel 81 Premier Hollywood and would definitely stay again. The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I arrived earlier than expected after a long journey, and Elvin gave me such a warm welcome and kindly allowed me to check into my room early, which I really appreciated.

The room was exactly as pictured — compact, but with everything you needed. There was space to hang clothes, sit down comfortably, and the coffee facilities were a nice touch. Most importantly, the room was bright and very clean, so thank you to Liv Zhen for keeping everything spotless.

Even though I only stayed for two nights, I still received fresh towels and coffee top-ups, which was an unexpected bonus and very much appreciated.

The road the hotel is on looked a little unkept at first and initially put me off slightly, but after a short 2-minute walk you’re right in the middle of the hustle and bustle with loads of late-night food spots, convenience stores, drinks, and snack options nearby.

While the hotel isn’t directly next to an MRT station, there are plenty of buses close by, making it really easy to get around Singapore and visit all the main attractions. It’s also only around a 20-minute taxi ride to the airport, which was very convenient.

Overall, a really pleasant stay with excellent service and good value for Singapore.

A comfortable and convenient stay.
I recently spent two nights at the Venus Hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, making it a comfortable place to stay. While the room itself is a bit compact, it is very well-designed and functional.
I was impressed by how well-equipped the room was, as it came with a full range of amenities. The hotel's location is also a major plus—it is very close to heritage sites, making it incredibly easy and convenient to explore the area. As you can see in *image.png*,the hotel has a lovely, inviting lobby area where you can relax as well. Overall, a great choice for travelers who value convenience and comfort. Highly recommended!

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel 81 Gold during my trip to Singapore. The hotel offers good value for money, especially considering Singapore's accommodation prices. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short stay. Although the room was a bit small, it was well-maintained and suitable for resting after a full day of sightseeing.
The staff were friendly and helpful, making the check-in and check-out process quick and smooth. The location is also convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby.

The only downside was that the bathroom was quite compact, but it was clean and functional. Overall, if you're looking for an affordable, clean, and convenient place to stay in Singapore, I would recommend Hotel 81 Gold.

This was a pleasant, quiet, and safe stay.

**Environment:**
It's about a 13-minute walk to Aljunied MRT (EW line). The hotel is located about 50 meters inside Lane 18 of Geylang Road. Geylang Road itself is very bustling with heavy traffic, but once you step into Lane 18, it becomes quite peaceful. You can't hear car noises at night. However, the hotel's soundproofing isn't great; you can clearly hear snoring from the next room and conversations in the corridor. Luckily, guests were quite considerate and didn't make much noise late at night.

**Service:**
I booked 3 nights through Trip.com, two nights with a king bed and one night with twin beds. There was a front desk staff member who spoke Mandarin. Upon our request, they were very helpful and arranged for us to stay in the same room for the third night as well, saving us the hassle of moving our belongings.

On the second day, when we returned, we found the service manager waiting in our room. The floor was completely covered in water because a pipe in the corridor ceiling had burst. She asked if we wanted to switch to another room, and we agreed. She then kindly upgraded us to a deluxe room free of charge, which was much larger and more comfortable. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, haha!

**Cleanliness:**
The room was clean and tidy. The corridor had a Japanese-inspired design.

**Facilities:**
There's a refrigerator, which is convenient for storing your own food.
Toothbrush and toothpaste are provided, though the toothpaste was hard to squeeze out. There's no comb, and you need to get razors from the front desk.
There's no mineral water, but there's a water dispenser for drinking, and a kettle to boil hot water.
The air conditioning was noisy. Even when turned off, it wasn't cold, making for a quieter sleep. I needed two air-con blankets. The air-con blanket wasn't covered by a sheet, so I wasn't sure whether to use the blanket or the sheet directly when sleeping. But overall, I didn't catch a cold.

The room is clean and there is a small green area in front of the front desk, which is very relaxing. The breakfast is simple and the soundproofing is poor

The triple room is particularly worth it. It is a suite. There is a bed outside, two beds in the inner room, and the bathroom is very large and clean. Although there are no windows, it will not be stuffy at all.
