Had a great stay at Hotel Boss! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The swimming pool was a nice bonus — big enough for a proper swim. Best of all, the hotel is conveniently located near MRT stations and popular tourist spots, making it easy to explore Singapore. Highly recommend!

My overall experience staying at V Hotel was quite good. The hotel's location is very convenient, close to the MRT station, making it easy to get to Singapore city center, attractions, and the airport. There are also many restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores nearby, offering great amenities. Although the room wasn't particularly large, it was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning and hot water supply were also stable. The hotel staff were friendly, and the check-in and check-out processes were quick and efficient. They were also helpful when I encountered issues. Considering accommodation prices in Singapore, V Hotel offers excellent convenience, quality of stay, and overall value for money, making it ideal for business travelers or independent tourists. If I visit Singapore again, I would consider staying here and would recommend it to travelers who prioritize convenient transportation and good amenities.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. However, the downsides are numerous. The room is incredibly small, definitely not as good as an economy hotel in China. The bathroom is so tiny that you have to turn sideways just to get in and out. I can't understand how it got a 4-star rating on Ctrip. The breakfast is not even worth mentioning; there's just a small selection of food, without even basic items like fried eggs or sausages. It seems to attract a lot of tourists daily, probably because it's cheap. The lobby is chaotic every day, with people filling up the sofas, and a few women even spreading their belongings all over a table. I definitely won't consider staying here again. It's probably only suitable for backpackers or students.

The location of Value Hotel Balestier is quite nice and convenient, with easy access to nearby food places and transportation. However, the main downside of my stay was the restroom. It was noticeably smelly and had a strong unpleasant odor, similar to sewage or poop, which made using the bathroom uncomfortable. While the location is a plus, the cleanliness and smell of the restroom really need improvement.

A comfortable and convenient stay.
I recently spent two nights at the Venus Hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, making it a comfortable place to stay. While the room itself is a bit compact, it is very well-designed and functional.
I was impressed by how well-equipped the room was, as it came with a full range of amenities. The hotel's location is also a major plus—it is very close to heritage sites, making it incredibly easy and convenient to explore the area. As you can see in *image.png*,the hotel has a lovely, inviting lobby area where you can relax as well. Overall, a great choice for travelers who value convenience and comfort. Highly recommended!

The room is tiny, really tiny. Once the door is closed, and you open a 26-inch suitcase, there's no room to walk. You can fit a 20-inch suitcase on the table, but a 28-inch one would definitely have to go on the bed.

However, the location is excellent! Turn right out of the hotel, and in less than 50 meters, maybe even just 30 meters, you're at Bencoolen MRT Station Exit A. Super convenient for getting around, thumbs up, it's truly fantastic!

The front desk has a lady who speaks Chinese.

The location is excellent, right in the city center, just 100 meters from Bencoolen MRT station, making it very convenient for visiting attractions and Orchard Road. There are plenty of dining options nearby, making it perfect for short tourist stays. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the housekeeping staff are diligent and responsible. The hotel front desk and lobby staff are all very friendly, greeting us every time we came and went. We were also able to store our luggage after check-out. There's a public coin-operated laundry and drying service on the 2nd floor, starting from S$11. I particularly want to commend Ms. Jeanette at the front desk. Our flight was delayed, and we checked in past 2 AM, but she remained incredibly kind and approachable. When we checked out, she thoughtfully gave us the best direct MRT route to Changi Airport. Thank you! This hotel is highly recommended for short trips to Singapore. I would definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.

I recently spent 2 nights at this hotel while holidaying in Singapore. The service at the front desk was exceptional; the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive to my needs. My room was spotless and, while compact, it felt cozy and functional. The air conditioning was excellent, and the room was fully equipped with all the essentials. Considering the affordable price and its proximity to the MRT and local eateries, I find this hotel to be a great value for money. Highly recommended!

1. The cleanliness was acceptable; at least the bed sheets and duvet covers looked clean. However, be aware that if there are personal items on the bed, they won't make up the bed. 
2. I wasn't used to the duvet; it was very thin, and the duvet cover was too large. If two people were sleeping, it felt like the duvet inside would slide around. 
3. The bed was very soft, not a firm one, and the pillows were just okay. Honestly, I didn't sleep very comfortably.
4. It's extremely, incredibly poorly soundproofed. You can hear everything happening in the hallway clearly. It's fine for a quick overnight stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer visit. However, we chose it for the price; it was the cheapest option we found after comparing all prices – three nights over May Day cost 1038.77 RMB including tax. So, we made do.
5. The room windows couldn't be opened. If you came back sweaty from sightseeing, and left the room overnight, it would smell a bit funky (your own body odor) when you returned the next day, because the air circulation was poor. You had to rely on the air conditioning's internal circulation.
6. A special note: without an electricity key card, as long as it's in the slot, power will continue to be supplied. (Exclusive tip!)
7. You don't need a different charger head; domestic chargers work fine.
8. There's usually a Mandarin-speaking staff member at the front desk, so communication was generally good.
9. Our Wi-Fi stopped working once. I called the front desk from the room phone (simple English communication), and someone came to check it out after about 20 minutes.
10. I forgot to take photos of the hotel, so I've included a picture of the street corner 10-grid, a rooster I encountered in Wuzhong, and the last photo is the check-in notice from the front desk, mainly about connecting to the Wi-Fi.
11. Also, and most importantly, they don't provide bottled water. There's a special filtered water dispenser in the room where you can get filtered water.

That said, the rooms are quite small, which might be a challenge if you’re travelling with large luggage or staying for an extended period. The hotel also has limited facilities, so it’s more suitable if you’re just looking for a simple and comfortable place to rest.
Overall, it’s a good value-for-money option in Singapore—clean, cosy, and convenient enough if you don’t mind being slightly away from the main tourist areas.

The room is clean and there is a small green area in front of the front desk, which is very relaxing. The breakfast is simple and the soundproofing is poor

整體的環境還算OK，還算比較滿意的，下次可能還會選擇他，但是可能就是沒有窗户，這一點是弊端，但是離醫院很近很近，2分鐘就走到了總體來説還是滿意的，服務態度特別好
