Best hotel in SG for families! Lots of good food nearby and their facilities on 4th floor are amazing! We checked in with Andrew. He with his manager Jeremy permission, they upgrade our room since we bring our toddler and allow us to have a late check out. Would recommend this to anyone with small kids.

Wonderful Stay at V Hotel Lavender with Excellent Hospitality 

Had a pleasant stay at V Hotel Lavender. As this was our first trip to Singapore, especially with a 2-year-old toddler, everything felt very comfortable and convenient here. The hotel is also very friendly for Indonesian guests who are used to having a bidet in the toilet.

We were especially grateful for the excellent service we received. Miss Cecilia, the receptionist on duty that day, was incredibly kind to us. She gave us a room with a beautiful view and also allowed us to have a late check-out at 1 PM, which really helped us manage our toddler’s nap schedule without any hassle.

Thank you, Miss Cecilia, and all the staff at V Hotel Lavender for making our holiday comfortable and memorable.

My family of three stayed at this hotel in Singapore for four days and three nights. We didn't purchase the hotel breakfast, and there weren't many dining options nearby; McDonald's was about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel's hygiene was good, and the staff were polite. It's located at Rochor station, and it only takes a minute to walk from the hotel to the MRT station, which is very convenient. You can expect hotel rooms in Singapore not to be very spacious; once you open your suitcase, there's really just a narrow path left. The hotel has a swimming pool, but no lifeguard, so if you have children playing there, remember to keep a close eye on them. Most of the guests were foreigners or Indians. I saw other reviews mentioning that the soundproofing wasn't great, but my family and I are light sleepers, and we weren't disturbed at all.

The hotel is super close to B exit of Bencoolen MRT station, which was incredibly convenient with luggage. My flight arrived in the morning, so I tried my luck asking the front desk for an early check-in. A lovely Indian lady at the front desk promptly checked me in, and she instantly won me over! ❤️ The room was small, as expected from other reviews, but it was well-designed and had everything I needed. All the standard hotel amenities were there. My room was cleaned daily, and supplies were replenished. The cleanliness was excellent; I didn't encounter any cockroaches during my four-day stay. There was some corridor noise, but after walking 20,000 steps a day, I was so exhausted it didn't affect my sleep at all. Big thanks to the friendly guy at the ground floor lobby who always smiled and opened the door for me. All in all, I had a comfortable, happy, and unforgettable time in Singapore!

Overall, the stay at Value Hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience generally nice.
However, one downside is the lack of a proper lobby or designated area for taxi pick-up and drop-off. It can be a bit inconvenient when booking rides, especially during busy hours, as drivers may have difficulty locating the exact spot.

I booked a room as a woman traveling alone and was overall satisfied with my stay. Considering the price, it offered good value for money. The room was clean, which was the most important thing for me.

It was perfect for one night, and I would definitely book again. The location was very quiet, making the stay calm and pleasant.

For my trip to Singapore, I chose to stay at V Hotel Bencoolen, and my overall experience was quite good. The hotel boasts a very convenient location, just a short walk from the MRT station. Right next door, there's a money exchange office, making it super easy to get Singapore dollars, and you'll find UnionPay-friendly ATMs nearby too – really handy for tourists.

The hotel staff were attentive and responsible. I was pleasantly surprised during check-in to find a staff member who spoke Mandarin, which really eased any communication stress.

There was just one minor snag. On occasion, after the daily cleaning, the housekeeping staff on my floor would forget to restock some toiletries like toothbrushes and slippers. However, once I contacted hotel services, the items were delivered to my room quite promptly, so the overall service attitude was still very good.

Traveling with a girlfriend, we had a lot of concerns before arriving, worrying that the hotel might be unsafe or unclean due to its location in ***. However, after staying for several days, overall, the hotel was quite good. The staff cleaned the room regularly, and both the front desk and service staff were very welcoming. The soundproofing in the hotel was also decent; we didn't hear much noise. The hotel is also very close to a bus stop, and there are many good restaurants, vending machines, and convenience stores nearby.

The only potential concern is that the *** shops across from the hotel open at night, and some young men stand outside the hotel entrance looking around. However, that's all it was; we didn't experience any harassment or unwanted approaches. If you're worried, I recommend taking a taxi, as the driver will drop you off right at the hotel entrance.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again next year if I have the chance!

1. The cleanliness was acceptable; at least the bed sheets and duvet covers looked clean. However, be aware that if there are personal items on the bed, they won't make up the bed. 
2. I wasn't used to the duvet; it was very thin, and the duvet cover was too large. If two people were sleeping, it felt like the duvet inside would slide around. 
3. The bed was very soft, not a firm one, and the pillows were just okay. Honestly, I didn't sleep very comfortably.
4. It's extremely, incredibly poorly soundproofed. You can hear everything happening in the hallway clearly. It's fine for a quick overnight stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer visit. However, we chose it for the price; it was the cheapest option we found after comparing all prices – three nights over May Day cost 1038.77 RMB including tax. So, we made do.
5. The room windows couldn't be opened. If you came back sweaty from sightseeing, and left the room overnight, it would smell a bit funky (your own body odor) when you returned the next day, because the air circulation was poor. You had to rely on the air conditioning's internal circulation.
6. A special note: without an electricity key card, as long as it's in the slot, power will continue to be supplied. (Exclusive tip!)
7. You don't need a different charger head; domestic chargers work fine.
8. There's usually a Mandarin-speaking staff member at the front desk, so communication was generally good.
9. Our Wi-Fi stopped working once. I called the front desk from the room phone (simple English communication), and someone came to check it out after about 20 minutes.
10. I forgot to take photos of the hotel, so I've included a picture of the street corner 10-grid, a rooster I encountered in Wuzhong, and the last photo is the check-in notice from the front desk, mainly about connecting to the Wi-Fi.
11. Also, and most importantly, they don't provide bottled water. There's a special filtered water dispenser in the room where you can get filtered water.

Room is quite small, but bed is comfortable. 

Suitable for traveller who spends most of the day time exploring Singapore & just need a place to sleep at night.

It is similar to a B&B apartment. It seems to be newly opened in 2024. Its location is relatively remote. Entering from a small road, the navigation can hardly find the door. The interior of the room is relatively simple. A deposit of 200 baht is required at the front desk. Two sandwiches are given for breakfast. , 2 bottles of Coke are provided for free in the refrigerator in the room. There is a 7-11 convenience store 500 meters next to it, and the environment is very quiet.

整體的環境還算OK，還算比較滿意的，下次可能還會選擇他，但是可能就是沒有窗户，這一點是弊端，但是離醫院很近很近，2分鐘就走到了總體來説還是滿意的，服務態度特別好
