Oyoyo is HungryHad a wonderful stay at Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya! The resort sits right on a wide, long beach where you can sunbathe or enjoy activities like beach volleyball and jet skiing. ☀️🏐
The rooms were recently renovated—the beds are super big, plush, and comfortable. Best of all, every room boasts a view of both the water park and the sea! 🌊
Breakfast here is amazing with a huge variety, ranging from Western, Chinese, and Indian dishes to a full salad bar and bakeries. They even serve local Thai street food favorites like grilled pork skewers (Moo Ping), Pa Tong Go with custard, Thai iced tea, and O-Liang (Thai black coffee)! 😋
Pro Tip: Booking directly through the hotel website grants you free entry to The Lost World Adventure Land, which has tons of activities for kids like PS5 gaming, rock climbing, ziplining, and kid's movie screenings.
Outside the resort, you’ll find convenience stores and plenty of dining options just a short walk away. Highly recommended for families!
Exceptional service from the entire team! Every staff member was warm, welcoming, and always eager to assist. I’d especially like to commend ”จีจี้” for his outstanding help with our room management. He made our stay truly seamless!

Amari Pattaya, located right by Pattaya Beach Road, is arguably one of the most impressive family-friendly resort hotels I've experienced in recent years. From the moment I stepped into the hotel until check-out, everything from the facilities and service quality to the overall atmosphere showcased the expected standards and refinement of a five-star establishment.
Upon arrival, the first thing that caught my eye was the spacious welcome driveway surrounded by lush green landscaping. Passing through the double automatic doors, the lobby, with its two-story-plus ceiling height, immediately conveyed the hotel's grandeur. The air was filled with a subtle floral and fruity scent, complemented by a refreshing welcome drink that instantly melted away the fatigue of a long journey. From the check-in process onwards, you could feel the hotel's intention to create a sense of occasion and a privileged experience for guests.
Our deluxe twin suite was equally satisfying. The room was incredibly spacious, with an overall layout that balanced comfort and practicality. In addition to a private balcony overlooking the sea, the room was well-equipped with comprehensive living amenities. The separate wet and dry bathroom design, independent bathtub and shower area, large-capacity wardrobe, generous luggage storage space, and ample charging outlets and reading lights all made an extended stay much more convenient.
Even the quality of the room slippers was impressive; their material and comfort clearly surpassed the disposable ones often found in similar-class hotels. These small details show that the hotel put significant effort into its room planning.
If you were to ask me what Amari Pattaya's most attractive feature is, I would undoubtedly say: ”the pool area.”
After check-in, if the room isn't ready yet, guests can head to the pool area to use the facilities. This pool and waterslide complex is practically a paradise for families with children. The entire space isn't just a simple large pool like traditional hotels; instead, it creates a rich flow of movement through varying levels, pathways, and water slides.
For children, it's more like a water adventure park. Descend a staircase, go through a slide, turn a corner, and you'll discover another play area, with each section full of exploration fun. Even adults can easily find their own relaxing corner within it.
Even more commendable is the overall maintenance quality. The cleanliness of the pools, changing rooms, and public restrooms was excellent. There was absolutely no lingering urine smell common in large public pools, nor any pungent, excessive chlorine odor. The floors were kept clean and dry, making the overall experience very comfortable.
Several towel stations were also set up in the outdoor area, continuously providing freshly dried, subtly scented bath towels. Children could immediately wrap themselves in warm towels after getting out of the pool, a thoughtful and attentive service that truly made an impression.
Beyond the pool, the Kids' Club is another facility well worth recommending.
Although not particularly large in scale, it's rich in content. From coloring pages, simple craft materials, dress-up toys, and children's picture books to the kids' favorite PlayStation consoles, everything is available. More importantly, the overall environment is exceptionally well-maintained. Whether it's the floor, tables, or the toys themselves, everything is kept clean, tidy, and spotless.
Another lasting impression was made by the two Kids' Club staff members. They showed immense patience and care towards every child entering the playroom, whether it was proactively offering toys, interacting with the children, or assisting with tidying up the environment. You could tell they genuinely enjoyed being with children, rather than just performing a job. I believe most parents would give such service a very high rating.
Regarding its location, Amari Pattaya is almost impeccable. The hotel is situated along Pattaya's busiest Beach Road, just a 5 to 10-minute walk to the beach. The surrounding area boasts numerous convenience stores, unique restaurants, and tourist attractions, with the highly popular Terminal 21 Pattaya also within walking distance.
Along Beach Road, you can easily hail a 'songthaew' (local shared taxi) at any time, making it convenient to travel to Central Pattaya, South Pattaya, or other attractions. For independent travelers, there are virtually no significant drawbacks concerning transportation and daily amenities.
Breakfast is served at the hotel's Ayara restaurant. The restaurant offers continuous service from 6 AM to 10 AM daily, so even if you want to sleep in, you don't have to worry about missing breakfast.
In addition to the typical Western breakfast options found in five-star hotels, the menu also includes hot dishes like freshly cooked Thai noodles and made-to-order omelets, all of stable quality. The most interesting feature is a specially designed children's buffet area, decorated with cute animal shapes carved from watermelon, which not only attracts children's attention but also demonstrates the hotel's dedication to the family traveler market.
Overall, Amari Pattaya's greatest strength isn't just its luxury, but how thoroughly it delivers on the concept of a 'family vacation.' From the room design, pool planning, and Kids' Club to the breakfast and the meticulous details in public spaces, you can feel that the hotel genuinely considers the needs of families with children.
If you're traveling to Pattaya with children and want to balance convenient transportation, excellent facilities, and comfortable accommodation quality, I believe Amari Pattaya is definitely one of the top five-star resort hotels in Pattaya city worth considering.

This must be my third time at this hotel. I'm not sure if it's due to cost-cutting, but now they only provide one room key. A year ago, even when I was alone, I received two cards. However, the hotel's service is still excellent; any issue you have will be resolved immediately. The hotel is located right next to the Pattaya Immigration Office, making it easy to find. It's also close to the beach and the night market, and a new McDonald's has opened nearby, so the amenities are great.

M.YoshidaI've been visiting Pattaya every year for about 10 years, and I really love this hotel since I discovered Cape Dara. The view from the room is unbeatable compared to any other hotel. There are two pools, which I enjoy every year, and you can swim with amazing views, seeing various ocean landscapes up close. The check-in lady and the buggy driver are always smiling. This time, I was truly touched when someone offered me an umbrella during a sudden rain shower by the poolside. I'm very satisfied with the hospitality of all the staff at Cape Dara. For breakfast, you can enjoy a variety of dishes at your leisure at an open-air table where you can feel the sea breeze. The facilities seem to be renovated occasionally, and I believe they are well-maintained in many aspects. This time, I requested a room with a nice view in advance for our wedding anniversary, and I was thrilled to find that they had prepared anniversary chocolates and flowers in our 21st-floor room. We will definitely stay here again next year.

Guest UserThis is one of the oldest hotels in the city, and we absolutely love it. It maintains its charming national style, completely enveloped in lush greenery. The grounds are expansive and pleasant for walks. You can spot rare bird species like tree swifts and hoopoes. In the garden, water lilies bloom, fish swim, and a large turtle resides.
The views are simply wonderful.
Its location is excellent. While staying at the hotel, guests are right in the thick of the resort's action (the promenade, shops, restaurants, and attractions are nearby), yet at the same time, the hotel offers peace, quiet, and tranquility.
The hotel is well-secured; the entrance gate to the hotel grounds (from the promenade) is opened with your room key card.
The pools are very clean, and there are several. Two pools are accessible from the second floor, and the others from the fourth. The depths vary. There are pools for toddlers, deeper ones, and some that are 2 meters deep. There's also a pool with a bar and a jacuzzi. At the bar, happy hour is from 3 PM to 5 PM (buy one drink, get one free). They also make incredibly delicious pizza right there.
Showers and toilets are available everywhere.
In the rooms, the soundproofing is excellent, and the beds are the most comfortable we've ever experienced in any hotel. There's a selection of pillows, excellent linens, and a huge, soft duvet. A coffee machine and a clothes drying rack are provided! Beyond toothbrushes and razors, the toiletries include combs, nail files, cotton swabs and pads, and even a sewing kit.
We stayed in a club room. Breakfast is served on the 9th floor. Everything is delicious. You can make your own pancakes using an automatic machine. The coffee is excellent. There's a wide selection of fruits, snacks, and vegetables. A spread of rolls and sushi is available. There's always jamón, smoked sausage, blue cheeses, classic cheeses, and two types of lightly salted trout. Hot dishes change daily.
From 10 AM to 8 PM, you can enjoy tea, coffee, cookies, and dried fruits on the 8th floor.
From 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, themed mini-dinners with alcoholic beverages are held here. For example, on Wednesdays: Thai food.
You can also send clothes for laundry, which is very convenient if you're continuing your journey instead of heading home.
The hotel has a magnificent team of staff. The lovely ladies at the reception and in the club on the 8th floor are very welcoming and polite. A big thank you to them for their work and for making our vacation wonderful.
I want to particularly commend the lifeguards. In the 2-meter-deep pool, a young man felt unwell. The lifeguard reacted instantly, immediately jumped into the pool, and pulled the person out. He provided all necessary assistance.
We found no downsides to the hotel.
One minor detail: if you are tall, you need to be careful on the balcony, as the railing is very low. My height is 170 cm, and the railing only reached my mid-thigh.

FengconghaishanglaiThe room was decent, and the cleanliness was good, pretty much as others have mentioned – a bit old-fashioned. However, the unbeatable ocean view from the balcony made up for everything.
Facilities: Good, all complete, with a bathtub and shower.
Environment: Absolutely fantastic.
Service: Average. The shower gel ran out and wasn't refilled promptly. I had to go to the front desk to get more myself, as no one brought it to the room. The upside is how incredibly close it is to the sea.

Guest UserThe traditional Thai style, with direct pool access from the room, is perfect for a family vacation with kids. Stepping out, you're right at the sea, and an evening stroll along the beach is incredibly relaxing! It's very clean, and the breakfast is tempting too! The pool is lined with classic tropical frangipani trees, giving off a strong holiday vibe! Everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers and security guards were warm and attentive, making us feel right at home!

I was very satisfied with the location and service. Everything was outstanding. I'd like to thank all the staff; they provided me with an amazing holiday. The location is already a perfect 10. With doors opening to both roads, you can exit from the Beach Road side and reach Central Festival or Walking Street in 5 minutes via baht bus. If you exit from the Second Road side, Terminal 21 is just a 3-minute walk away.

Guest UserThe room, bathroom, and balcony are spacious with a beautiful view. The room smells nice, the air conditioning is cold, and the soundproofing is good. The swimming pool has a jacuzzi.
However, on the day we stayed, I slipped and fell on the polished terrazzo floor near the pool. 🤕
The hotel has a private beach, but the waves were strong and the water was quite deep. My son got his foot cut by a rock while playing, but the hotel staff were great and provided first aid. Even though this trip had a few too many accidents, it was still fun, and I'd love to go back again. (Breakfast was delicious and varied, and all the staff provided excellent service. I was very impressed!)

Xing XiamiThe staff here are great specially the young lady working in the morning shift, and the location is perfect for exploring the Night Bazaar and Walking Street.
Unfortunately, the room quality doesn't match the service. My room felt unhygienic with stains on the walls and bathroom surfaces. The bed was also very hard with thin, worn-out sheets. This is strictly a ”sleep-only” hotel for those who prioritize being close to the action over room quality.
