Beach Hotels in Yantai

Traveling as a family of three, we stayed at this hotel and were so impressed by the front desk staff. They were incredibly thoughtful, proactively preparing children's slippers and toiletries for our little one. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The location is also fantastic, with plenty of attractions and dining options nearby. Our child absolutely loved the stay, and we wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Booked two sea-view suites with balconies, and they indeed had quite large balconies with beautiful views morning and night. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's kept very clean. The hotel breakfast was just okay, but filling. There was no shower enclosure in the room, and getting in and out of the bathtub was inconvenient, making me worried about slipping. The toiletries (which should be placed near the tub, otherwise you're halfway through your shower only to realize you don't have any, then have to climb out of the tub to get them from the sink drawer – that's really not practical!) lacked conditioner, which should be an easy fix! Overall, it was still a good experience, especially the location. With Yantai Mountain behind and Chaoyang Street in front, you get a panoramic view of Yantai's coastline.

Tracy was great, always ready to help with any request. We stayed in a family room with an ocean view, which was lovely. The 1.8-meter bed was spacious enough for me and my child, and there was a smaller bed for my husband. The room had a 'Frozen' theme, complete with a little doll for decoration. The best part was the bathtub – my child loves baths, though we only used it once during our three-day stay. It felt a bit wasteful that we only went to the beach once, considering we were right by the sea. The hotel is conveniently located near Chaoyang Street and Hongkousuo Ancient City; all three attractions are within walking distance from the hotel entrance. It's a shame we didn't explore further afield, with Fisherman's Wharf being the furthest we considered going.

The hotel has a great ambiance; the lobby is simple yet elegant, and as soon as you walk in, you feel very comfortable. The room decor is simple and cozy, and the cleanliness is exceptional – the floors and surfaces are spotless. The bedding feels high-quality, and it's very relaxing to lie on. The soundproofing is excellent; I barely heard any outside noise at night and slept soundly until morning. There was plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were well-stocked. The facilities are well-maintained. Della🍓 provided thoughtful service, handled the check-in process quickly, and was very friendly, patiently answering all our questions. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. I'd also like to specially thank Della and the hotel for the thoughtful arrangements they made for my husband's birthday. The room decorations and cake were a wonderful surprise!

There was a slight hiccup during check-in, and we had to wait a bit. I tried to be understanding, especially during peak hours, but waiting with a child for that long was quite a stretch. Hopefully, this can be improved next time! The beach is right downstairs, not crowded at all, and it was lovely to feel the sea breeze and dig in the sand with my child in the evening. The bed sheets in the room were a little dirty, but we had brought our own, so we didn't bother to report it. Just something to keep in mind! The male front desk staff and the guiding staff were all exceptionally good. I thought it would be a hassle to retrieve something I left behind, but they immediately issued me a room card so I could go back and easily find my item – I'm very grateful for that! There was also a short-haired housekeeping auntie who was wonderfully kind. When we went back to look for our item, she told us to take our time and that she would come back to clean later, and she even made my child laugh. Although the hotel is a bit older, it's precisely because of its accumulated history that it offers such warm and beautiful memories! Wishing all hotel staff success in their work, and we hope to visit again.

Pros: The hotel view was decent, and the room was relatively quiet. Cons: The breakfast was terrible, absolutely not worth ¥128 per person. The breakfast hours are 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM, but whether you went at 9 AM or 7 AM, most of the food wasn't hot (even the fried eggs were cold). The restaurant staff lacked service awareness, both in the Japanese restaurant and the breakfast area. This might also be due to understaffing (the same few staff members were seen running around in the breakfast area every day, and because they were overwhelmed, they naturally became less attentive). The hotel is right next to Wanda Plaza (with an underground passage leading directly to it), offering many dining options. I strongly recommend: booking a room without breakfast, without breakfast!! The Japanese buffet on the 26th floor is also not recommended. It was arguably the worst all-you-can-eat experience I've had. At ¥298 per person, the food was mediocre. For the sashimi platter, apart from the slipper lobster, everything else (salmon, sweet shrimp, tuna, surf clam, etc.) was not good. Recommended cooked dishes: beef tongue, beef, scallops, abalone. Not recommended cooked dishes: Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, squid tempura, shishamo, garlic oysters (small and dry).

I chose the Central Hotel for my dad's follow-up hospital visit, and this old-school hotel definitely lives up to its reputation. Every staff member at the front desk was fantastic; they had our room reserved in advance, so check-in was instant! The two concierges were incredibly responsible, surprising us with different little treats every day – so thoughtful and caring! The restaurant staff were very welcoming, and the cleaning auntie was diligent, tidying up our room promptly every day. All in all, the Central Hotel's service is so dedicated, which clearly shows their management is five-star. Thank you!

This is my second stay at this hotel, and both times have been great. The hotel environment is beautiful, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The Chinese restaurant's food is also very tasty. The front desk and housekeeping staff are all very dedicated and provide excellent service. You can walk to see the sunrise in just five minutes. The room facilities are clean and well-equipped. I'll definitely be back next time.

The room was small with basic facilities, and the bed and duvet were thin. Breakfast closed at 9:30 AM with very few options. The lobby was distinctive, but the hot spring and pool were closed. The electric car in the lobby cost 28 yuan per person. Overall, it's a one-time experience.

This hotel should be one of the best on the island at present. The location is excellent. The hotel is built on the sea cliff. The environment is quiet and comfortable. The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is rich. Lying on the bed, stretching your legs to watch the sea and listening to the waves, sitting on the balcony smoking cigarettes and drinking tea to watch the sunset. -On the first floor, I watched the sea with food, and on the second floor, I tasted coffee and listened to the waves. What's better is that the service is considerate and thoughtful, responsive, and the front desk lady leads you to the room when you check in, warm like home.
