The room was warm as if it had floor heating; it was very cozy as soon as I walked in. My room was on the first floor, the closest to the front desk, and it was quite comfortable. The breakfast, however, was very ordinary, with limited options and almost everything was cold. But that's normal. Foreign tastes won't match ours, which is understandable. I just stuck to eating fries; those were to my taste. As for the service, it was normally good. They extended my check-out by an hour and allowed luggage storage. I booked the airport shuttle through the hotel for 500 Lira. I didn't find any issues with the cleanliness. All in all, it's still worth staying here! You won't feel like you've made a bad choice or had a terrible experience. The bus station to the town is super close, and you can take the bus to explore the surrounding areas. But to be honest, besides hot air ballooning, there's really nothing much to do in this town. The nearby attractions are all quite boring, the kind where I'd take a quick look and want to leave. One night here is enough. The most important thing is the hot air balloon.

Castle Cave Hotel was truly our first stop in Turkey, and it left us with wonderful memories! 🏨
1️⃣ The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastically introduced us to local sights and day trip itineraries, enriching our journey. 🤝
2️⃣ The breakfast buffet was amazing! 🧀🥗 There was a variety of cheeses, yogurts, and vegetables – healthy and fresh. Plus, there were many adorable cats in the courtyard 🐱; I hope the pregnant one delivers safely and healthily. 💖
3️⃣ The hotel's location is superb, very close to the hot air balloon pick-up point. The driver only takes about 8 minutes to get there, so you don't have to wake up too early – super convenient! 🎈🌅
4️⃣ Most importantly, the hotel's view! The rooftop offers an incredible vantage point with breathtaking scenery. 🌟
5️⃣ The hotel's location is also excellent. It’s a 2-minute walk to the main street, where you'll find restaurants, bars, cafes, ice cream shops, ATMs, and a bus station – all the amenities you need. 🍽️☕🍦💳🚍
One thing to note is that while some rooms have windows, opening them reveals the lobby instead of an outdoor view 😂. If the view is particularly important to you, I recommend confirming with the hotel before booking. 📞
Overall, Castle Cave Hotel is an excellent choice for accommodation in Cappadocia – it's both cozy and unforgettable. Highly recommended! 🙌

wt.cWe absolutely enjoyed our stay with Sultan. The staff were amazing & helped us very much! A big shoutout to Darina, Yunus & all the rest who has helped us so attentively & replied to our messages whenever they can! One thing I would change about my trip is to make all my bookings with them! They actually have a list of vendors they worked with & in house tours which we can signed up for. We went for the Breakfast Tour & the Hammam at their sister’s hotel, both of it we absolutely loved. We would also like to commend Shams’ hospitality in guiding us on the Breakfast Tour, making our stay in Cappadocia such an enjoyable & restorative one ❤️

A beautiful hotel and a wonderful experience. Goreme is so beautiful and this hotel is located not too far from the central places where you can find lots of great restaurants and souvenir shops. The room is naturally cool and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the whole atmosphere at the hotel and the outside seating areas are perfect for relaxing after a long day of touring. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The hotel's location in Göreme isn't particularly important because the town is small, and everything is a 5-minute walk from the center. However, there are hotels that require a steep climb uphill. Our hotel is located on level ground. Guests are picked up directly from the hotel for all excursions, flights, and the airport, which is very convenient. Flights and excursions can be booked at reception.
The hotel has an interesting, authentic, antique-style decor.
We didn't buy breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on that.
We also lost our luggage at the airport, along with our swimsuits, so we missed the pool and spa area.
The beds in the room were very comfortable. Unlimited bottled water. There was a kettle in the room with tea and coffee.
We are very grateful to the receptionist – he helped us find our luggage and also brought back our lost bag. We were very pleased 😄.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Avlu Cave Hotel is a quaint famiily-owned hotel of about 8 rooms. It is conveniently located 3-4 minutes from the Goreme center.
During our stay, we received first class service from the manager, Jan, and his assistant, Naji. Within minutes of arriving at the hotel, Jan offered breakfast. The buffet of traditional Turkish breakfast and some continental items was beautifully laid out in their breakfast room. I did not think we had breakfast on arrival day, but I was thankful for this generosity as we left Istanbul so early and were ready for a good meal.
In no time also, Jan and Naji, who were really very hospitable, filled in with activities our incomplete tour plan. They made arrangements for the horseback riding sunset ride, the hot air balloon ride, and one of the tours. They also arranged earlier our airport pickup and later, transport to the airport.
The room we occupied had a balcony and we made good use of it to soak in Goreme in between our outings. Avlu Cave Hotel provided us the perfect homey ambiance that we wanted to experience in Cappadocia. This is an ideal place for solo travelers, couples, as well as families.

RondererThe highlights are definitely the amenities and the location. Everything you need is nearby, restaurants, grocery stores, ATMs, and even a bus terminal, making it very convenient for travelers. The breakfast was also good, with a decent variety of options. However, as someone who prefers having rice with every meal, I found the selection a bit limited in that aspect.
There were a few downsides worth mentioning. The toilet flush in my room seemed to be faulty as it kept running continuously. Also, one night I suspect that someone may have entered my room since I accidentally left the door unlocked, and I noticed a valuable item was missing. I reported this to the receptionist and requested a CCTV check, but as of writing this review, I haven’t received any update.
Despite these issues, my overall experience was still positive. The staff were generally accommodating, and the location really makes a big difference.
For future guests, I’d recommend always double-checking that your door is locked for added security.

Goreme Treasure Cave Hotel | Aza gets rave reviews, great value for money!
This hotel is a sister property to Sultan Cave Suites, sharing facilities, but Aza offers significantly better value! The rooms are larger, have better views, and even come with their own pools. Crucially, it's much quieter than Sultan – Sultan's front-facing rooms can be noisy due to the restaurant and bar, whereas Aza is completely peaceful, ensuring a good night's sleep. If you value quiet, this is the place to be. (Sometimes you can hear hallway noise when people enter the room next door, but overall it's quiet. However, the stairs can be challenging for elderly guests).
The breakfast is incredibly generous, with the scrambled eggs and beef being a must-try. The food is plentiful and satisfying. If you want to see the hot air balloon sunrise, you can head directly to Sultan's observation deck for photos – you get the best of both worlds. The hotel's recommended excursions are a bit pricey; I suggest booking through a restaurant owner in town for much better deals.
The SPA experience was a wonderful surprise – professional techniques and just the right amount of pressure. It offers far better value than other places in town and is my top pick for relaxation.
What was most heartwarming was that my non-refundable booking dropped in price upon arrival, and Trip.com proactively refunded the difference. The hotel even upgraded me for free to a suite with a fireplace! A staff member kindly helped chop wood and start the fire. Listening to the sound of wood chopping in the courtyard and watching the warm glow of the fire in the room truly enhanced the cave accommodation experience – it was unforgettable.
The cave room was very comfortable, the pool view was absolutely stunning, and the overall experience was perfect. If you're coming to Goreme, you can't go wrong with this place!

Judadeshiyanchang1. **Cleanliness**: Both the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean.
2. **Environment**: 1) The hotel's location is excellent; all the main areas of town are within a 5-10 minute walk. 2) The hotel has a small courtyard where you can relax in the sun on nice days. 3) Further up from the rooms, there's a pool, a simple observation deck, and more. The hotel's overall scale feels very comfortable.
3. **Service**: 1) The owner at the front desk was very friendly and humorous, and spoke fluent English, making communication easy. 2) The two complimentary bottles of water in the room felt a bit scarce, especially since the heating made the room dry and required frequent hydration. When we asked the owner for more, they readily provided them. It would be even better if more bottles were provided by default.
4. **Facilities**: 1) The room, especially the bathroom, was very spacious, and with two large windows, it had excellent natural light. 2) The 'Sehzade' room type comes with a bathtub, and the bathroom also features a stone platform for a Turkish bath, though I didn't try it. 3) The room also has a small balcony, which was perfect for sitting with friends, soaking up the sun, and chatting.
Overall, the experience was well worth the price, perhaps even exceeding expectations. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit if there aren't other particularly unique hotels I want to try.

1. The hotel is located away from the bustling city center, offering a tranquil environment free from noise and excellent views.
2. The hotel staff provide attentive and thoughtful service, ensuring a comfortable stay.
3. The cave rooms are unique to the region, featuring a distinctive and recognizable design.
4. The pool water has a high salt content, which limits the swimming experience.
5. The cave rooms might not be suitable for everyone; those sensitive to damp or enclosed spaces should consider other options.
6. Breakfast options are limited and mainly consist of cheese and sweet sauces, offering less variety compared to typical buffet breakfasts in China.
Overall, this hotel is ideal for travelers who prefer a quiet stay and are eager to experience unique local accommodation.
