We arrived early and they kindly let us check in to an available room, even providing a welcome gift. The service throughout our stay was excellent, and the facilities were great, especially the beautiful sea view. It was a fantastic experience, very satisfying.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The BEST hostel experience I’ve ever had! I honestly cannot recommend Yellow Umbrella Hostels in Cebu City enough. From the moment I arrived until the moment I checked out, every single part of my stay exceeded my expectations. The first thing that stood out was how spotlessly clean everything was. The rooms, bathrooms, common areas, everywhere was exceptionally well maintained. You can really tell that the staff takes great pride in keeping the hostel comfortable, organized, and welcoming. What truly makes this place special, though, is the people. Manager Glen deserves special recognition. He goes above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome, valued, and at home. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for guests create such a positive atmosphere that you can feel it throughout the entire hostel. And honestly, the rest of the staff were just as incredible. I would write names but truly every staff was amazing because every single person I met was outstanding. They were always smiling, approachable, eager to help, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making guests’ experiences unforgettable. That level of hospitality is rare and deserves to be celebrated. The atmosphere is warm, safe, and incredibly comforting. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, this hostel makes it easy to relax, meet amazing people, and truly enjoy your time in Cebu. The service was consistently exceptional, every request was handled quickly, every interaction was friendly, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. I’ve stayed in many accommodations while traveling, and Yellow Umbrella Hostels genuinely ranks among the very best. It’s not just a place to sleep, it’s a place that makes you feel at home. Great Stay with Excellent Breakfast I had a great experience staying at Bayfront Hotel Capitol Cebu. The room was comfortable and I really appreciated that they had a Netflix subscription available in the room, which was a great bonus and made the stay even more relaxing. I wasn't able to use the swimming pool during my stay, so I can't comment much on that. I also wasn't able to ask for the Wi-Fi password, so I wasn't able to use the Wi-Fi during my stay. One of the highlights for me was the breakfast buffet. It had a pretty decent selection of food, and I really enjoyed having breakfast there. There were some ongoing repairs during our visit, which was a minor inconvenience, but it didn't significantly affect our overall experience. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Room was clean and nice The bathroom though had a few cracks under the sink and the cement was falling on the floor Overall, still pretty good Service is top notch! From our early check in from Marj to Tonie's utmost concern for me (i have an injury and he was always helping me around and checking on me), plus attention to detail at the resto when we had and lastly, late check ou and additional free amenities after checking out, it felt like we were long staying guests with the care and service that they showed us (we only stayed overnight!) Would stay here again given the chance

Marco Polo Plaza, Cebu Review Here is a two-paragraph review that balances the atmosphere of the hotel with the quality of the service: We had a wonderful stay at the Marco Polo Plaza. The hotel offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the views from the Nivel Hills are absolutely stunning. Our room was clean, spacious, and provided the perfect environment for a relaxing getaway. What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly professional and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. From the delicious breakfast buffet to the well-maintained pool area, everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning!

It's out first time here since my family coming from bohol we accommodate bunk beds good for 4 persons for only 1500 .Thanks there's a pool and we enjoyed here though the pool was for adults only but we find ways to buy salbabida for my daughter... Definitely we will be back here ...The staffs are accommodating and friendly ..Love it ..

Stayed before awhile ago reception staff good fast check in room spacious with Bench table And chairs to eat and drink Bed Big firm good to sleep TV No channels only Netflix and YouTube airconditioning very weak didnt get the room very cold tea and coffee making facilities And also a refrigerator which was good safe Not working. Bathroom small and musty main shower unit leaked And sprayed water All over just ended up using the hand held shower complementary Soap shampoo and tooth brush Not really very hot water the hotel is showing signs of ageing especially in the bathroom the breakfast was good and tasty but took a long time to receive it due to high room service orders staff very friendly and polite okay for a couple of nights room rate was good.

The staff were very kind, helping with luggage and showing me where to refill my water bottle. As for the bathroom, there's no shower curtain, but the water pressure isn't strong enough for water to splash everywhere. It was a bit of a shame to see some small rust spots, though.

Good experience. The beds little bit make noise because old but clean and also possibility to have buffet breakfast. Staff very helpful and kind . Recomanded

We stayed mainly for the sky attraction. Based on past reviews, I was worried about issues like no hot water, but the shower worked fine and the room exceeded my expectations for the price. I would definitely like to stay again :)
