"Wonderful hostel, with lovely and responsive staff! There's a kitchen, comfortable beds (I slept like a log), an en-suite shower, a quiet air conditioner, and no smell in the room (though there was a pretty strong cat odor on the first floor). I've stayed here twice. It was great to come back to the same room after two months of traveling around the Philippines! The location is good too! It's a 7-minute scooter ride to the port and about 30 minutes by car to the airport. Thank you! I definitely recommend it!"

MMasaki07I would like to raise a concern regarding our stay on May 15. On the morning of May 15, we woke up to find that the floor was extremely wet, and we also noticed that a large area of the ceiling was wet, which strongly suggests there may have been a water leak.
This situation was very concerning and made us feel uncomfortable during our stay.
In addition, the air conditioning unit in our room was very noisy, which seriously disturbed our sleep. Our friend staying in another room experienced the same issue with the air-conditioning noise as well.
We will be staying at your hotel again tomorrow, and we are worried that the same problems may happen again. Could you please arrange for your staff to inspect these issues as soon as possible and ensure that our room for the next stay will be in good condition, with no leakage and a quiet air-conditioning unit?

EEasonGINThe main entrance was under construction and cordoned off, so every time I entered, whether by car or on foot, I had to go through a security check. This actually made me feel very safe. The views were fantastic, offering a panoramic overlook of the entire Cebu harbor. No deposit was required. The breakfast buffet was delicious. There was a Bible on the bedside table available for free reading. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion were all provided!

GGuest UserI had a great experience staying at Marco Polo Cebu. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was clean and pleasant throughout my stay. Parking is also free for guests, which is a big plus if you’re a tourist with a car and planning to explore Cebu. For that reason, this hotel is definitely a convenient and practical choice.
One small suggestion for improvement would be the addition of bidets in the bathrooms. Many guests are more comfortable cleaning with water rather than just using tissue, so having a bidet would make the stay even more comfortable and hassle free.

We enjoyed the pool and the kids' play area with our 1-year-old, though it’s worth noting that the play area requires an extra entrance fee. The location is excellent—very convenient and within walking distance of IT Park. However, the service was disappointing. The staff weren't very proactive or attentive; we constantly had to go out of our way to ask for basic assistance rather than being offered help.
