DDarren_in_BarcelonaThe hotel is in a good location if you want to be close to Bologna central railway station and the airport. The walk to the old town isn’t so far and you pass many nice things along the way. The area is safe and I walked back to the hotel after dark along the main thoroughfare and had no issues.
The room was quite small but it’s enough for one person. The staff were friendly and I was able to store my bag.
The only issue I had was the lack of air conditioning. The unit was present in the room but it was impossible to turn on due to it being April. Generally it wasn’t bad but the room was particularly stuffy in the morning and evening so it wasn’t so comfortable for sleeping.
I understand that it’s April and it’s considered too early to turn on the air conditioning but it’s actually turned on in the lobby for the staff. So by that logic, it should be turned on in the rooms also.
After living and traveling in Asia for many years it’s disappointing to see Italian hotels being stingy with money - especially considering the guests have paid money.
It’s a shame because besides this I liked the hotel and the staff. I hope the savings made by turning off the air conditioning are worth it.

GGuest UserWe only stayed at Ostello Bello Bologna for one night, but everything was really great! The room itself was quite spacious, with a large bathroom. It was clean, and there were three sets of towels and fresh linens provided.
The hotel's location was super convenient! We arrived at the train station from the airport and reached the hotel in a short amount of time. The neighborhood felt very pleasant, and even when returning late at night, we had no safety concerns whatsoever.
We absolutely loved the service at the reception! The lady from Finland was incredibly friendly and communicative! Her positive attitude made an excellent first impression. We also tried the complimentary welcome cocktails, and they were super!
I'd also like to mention that the hotel itself is very stylish and clean. I particularly liked the common lounge area with a terrace, where you can relax away from the city's hustle and bustle.
All in all, I recommend it 100 percent – you definitely won't regret it!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is not located in the city center, but there is direct bus access to get around easily. The room is clean and hygienic. The breakfast offered is varied and plentiful, and the staff serving it are very friendly and helpful. The only downside was when I arrived at night and asked the front desk for an extra blanket. Although they agreed, the blanket was never delivered.

NNoushleoEverything was really good .. we never used public transportation, so we can’t recollect the actual distance from the metro station, but the facilities in the hotels were super good .. breakfast was vivid , bathroom was big, and the room was spacious .. we booked for one night , and we renewed for next day .. recommended for everyone

GGuest UserCheck-in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly. The rooms are cleaned daily and quite thoroughly. Yes, not every corner is spotless, but I rarely see this level of cleanliness in a multi-bed room. My favorite part was the really great bar at the entrance with a cozy terrace where you could sit. Prices were very reasonable.
Only small downside was that the hotel hosts also school classes. There was quite a bit of noise around our room, even after midnight.

GGuest UserGood location. Paid (50€) extra to be in the main hotel and not their apartment somewhere nextdoor, not sure if it was worth it. It had a bit of a new spa feeling. All very new, think they are going for a boutique hotel style, but not classy. Nice terrace though.

DDoubleyouilliamStayed here for one night during the Bologna Marathon and overall it was a solid choice. The location is spot on, right in the heart of the city, easy to get to the start line without any stress on race morning.

AAnonymous UserIt's a little far from the train station, but it's along the main road, so it's easy to find. There's not a lot of restaurants or shops around, so you have to walk a little to the city center. But the facilities are clean and spacious. There are two shower rooms in the girls' room, so there's no conflict even if there are many people. It's safe and convenient for girls traveling alone.

Aaz00azureThe location is very good in the center of the old city. It is very close to the art gallery. The breakfast is good. The room is slightly smaller but quiet and comfortable. What do you want in the coffee shop restaurant milk tea shop around? It is very suitable for a day or two.

AAlexandraSThe hotel was a little bit modern in the entrance however, the rooms not really, there was rusty in the bathroom heather…
On our Room there was not even one full set of towels, neither 2 since we booked for 2 adults, however the employee from reception came to give us one set when we ask though.
Breakfast was somewhat disappointing. Not much choice, anyway. Has a free parking which was a plus for us but not sure if would come back since it is supposed to be a 4* hotel and we paid for that, however, I would give 3 stars.
The only photo I have is from the window of the room sorry.
