Baotazhenheyao009As a professional working in international five-star hotels, I booked this stay with an eye for experiencing it myself, and the overall impression far exceeded my expectations. I had assumed that an economy hotel would compromise on quality, but after checking in, I found that the room's soft furnishings, hardware quality, and even the bedding and bathroom details were all thoughtfully executed. There was no cheap feel whatsoever; everything was clean and well-maintained. The overall experience was truly excellent.
I especially want to commend two front desk staff members, Chanchan and Qiupai Lin. Their service attitude was outstanding—warm, professional, and they handled check-in efficiently and smoothly. They were friendly and proper, making me feel comfortable the moment I walked in. To find such a high level of service awareness and hardware quality in an economy hotel is truly rare and something my industry peers could learn from. Highly recommended!

I usually stay at CitiGO hotels whenever I travel to different cities because they offer self-service laundry, and I like to wash my clothes daily. This particular CitiGO is the best I've ever stayed at, not just for its facilities but also for its service. For laundry, all I had to do was hang my clothes outside the door, and they were washed, dried, and returned to my room. This saved me from constantly having to go back and forth or keeping an eye on the washing machine. The front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, making even a frequent hotel guest like me feel so welcome. And I definitely have to praise the adorable robot that delivered food right to my room door – these are services I haven't encountered at other CitiGOs. I didn't get a chance to photograph the clean and tidy room, so I'll just share a few pictures of the beautiful lobby instead.

ShushuzidelvxingrijiThe Banyan Tree Dongguan offers excellent value for money. The facilities are quite new, and the room voucher I purchased in advance included a 500 RMB dining credit, which was a great deal. The turndown service was a thoughtful touch, very meticulous, and each day brought a different turndown gift. It's also worth noting that the hotel grounds have dedicated shelters for stray cats, which shows a lot of care. The hotel's spa is excellent and a must-try. The toiletries are cheaper here than online, so I bought a whole bunch to take home. One suggestion: the long-term photo shoots occupying the hotel's main scenic spots really detract from the guest experience.

Guest UserI highly recommend the Regal Palace Hotel. I've stayed here multiple times, and I'm definitely a returning guest! The location is excellent, right next to the 4A-rated Longfeng Villa Resort, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The hotel's family-friendly amenities are superb, with a clean swimming pool, ball pit, sand pit, and even DIY craft activities. The kids were entertained all day long. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. It's my top choice for a vacation with kids – no need to rush around, both adults and children can relax. We'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next family trip!

True to its five-star rating, this hotel truly excels in every detail. The lobby's aroma and the room's fragrance were both incredibly elegant. What surprised me most in the room was the bed; it had a DeRUCCI mattress, and lying on it, you could immediately feel that luxurious, embracing sensation, just as relaxing as being in my own bed at home. The bathroom was well-designed with a wet and dry separation, and the amenities smelled lovely. The front desk service was also very attentive, with a smile throughout. Highly recommended!

2nd stay in this hotel, which is very conveniently located for me.
Staff still doesn't speak English but us phone translators well enough.
Nice, big and clean room at a reasonable price.

Right before Chinese New Year, my friends and I decided to take a short trip and chose this hotel because it's quite close to home, about an hour's drive away. It's also not far from the highway exit, which makes it convenient for self-driving. The hotel itself has a strong festive atmosphere for the New Year, and there are many facilities for kids to play with. I'd recommend it for families.

We are very satisfied with the hotel when it comes to what we got for the price. It was a very cheap stay, and in general the hotel satisfied our needs and expectations.
The hotel's location is good and convenient for taking a taxi to train stations and other places in Dongguan.
Service is very good. All the staff we met had a great attitude and answered all our questions patiently.
The rooms and restaurand were a bit out-dated, and the rooms had a slight smell of smoke. But it was clean and spacious.
The pool was not usable, as the water was dirty and seemed not to have been cleaned in a long time.

work hard, play harderWell, I had stayed in this hotel numerous times before but this is my first time to have breakfast included in the room rate.
However, the breakfast was really mediocre and it is the most basic type of service that you may find in a hotel breakfast. As you may see in the images, a L shaped buffet line serving a limited supply of food. No tea spoon nor packed sugar for your coffee. The restaurant was very warm even it was a rainy morning outside. Last but not least, the guests are supposed to make their own eggs and soup noodles, this is rather amazing. Apparently, this additional amenity of breakfast was solely to keep the hotel room rate to be more competitive in the market rather than making the stay more enjoyable.
Another interesting feature was the bathroom, it had an old bathtub with a half sectional screen. In my personal opinion, this is a rather foolish idea as water will splash all over the bathroom area while you are taking a shower. Don't know why a simple shower curtain was not used as before, wonder how much money the management could save in this layout over the additional workload for the room maids and the safety of the guests on a wet and slippery floor.
Finally, they are still using those shower gel bottles that refuse to return back up after being pressed. There was still nothing in the bathroom to hang the used towel so I just used a clothes hanger as shown in the image.
