GGuest UserLoved the hotel & room deco. It's conveniently located near Zurich Main Train Station (7 mins walk) & also near Old Town (Altstadt) & Bahnhofstrasse.
No hot water provided in room, like most hotels we stayed in Switzerland. Tap water is drinkable tho.
You can request for room slippers & they have a free sauna & gym on the 7th floor.
Definitely no children allowed to stay here. The bathroom has a transparent glass🤭
Migrolino (similar to 7-11) is located 200m away from hotel. Can easily pick up snacks, dinner & drinks.
Would love to return for a stay next time I'm in Zurich.

I especially appreciated the roomy interiors, which offered more space than most urban hotels — a real luxury in Zurich. The layout felt both functional and relaxing, making it easy to settle in whether you’re in town for work or leisure.
The hotel also fits perfectly into the creative energy of the Zürich West district, with a modern vibe that feels authentic rather than over-designed. Highly recommended for travelers looking for something with personality, comfort, and consistently great service.

YYee11Hotel Glockenhof Zurich offers Switzerland charm and modern comfort, making it one of the top choice for leisure and business trip on visiting Zurich. Situated in the heart of the Zurich city, it provides good access to Zurich's main attractions, shopping areas, and near to the Zurich Main Station transportation.
The attentive staffs greeted with warm hospitality, and are always willing to assist with any requests.
The hotel's elegant decorated rooms provide a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city.
This hotel places emphasis on healthy sleep, hence they have worked with a Swiss family company, Roviva for the bedding (there’s a small card information on the benefits of roviva bed provided). The room also comes with a pair of arm chairs and coffee table and amenities, including free Wi-Fi, Nespresso machine and movable flat screen TV. Lastly they have also provided an umbrella and grocery tote bag in case you need it which was very thoughtful on guests needs.
The breakfast buffet comes after booking the room (optional), offering a wide selection of fresh fruits and delicious hams, bread and yogurt options to start the day.
All in all, my family and I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel.

CCharlotte888The hotel is new and everything is clean. The staff is friendly and professional this is definitely a positive aspect. However, the overall experience does not reflect a true 4-star standard. It feels more like an ibis Styles concept that somehow received a 4-star certification.
The room was clean and new, but rather small with this standard and price. Even a phone to contact reception was missing, which is surprising for a 4-star property.
Overall: good intentions and friendly staff, but the facilities and attention to detail do not match the category. And its luck of possibility to control air-condition

GGuest UserThe hotel facilities were good and the breakfast was quite good. All the staff were extremely helpful, and the cleanliness was excellent.
However, the internet in the room was constantly offline, so we were unable to use it. The bathroom glass door kept getting stuck, and we were afraid it might break while using it.
I have been traveling abroad for many years, and this is the first time we have been asked to pay a deposit of 100 Swiss francs at check-in, which we found quite surprising.

I felt good as soon as I arrived in Zurich and I was satisfied because the accommodation was clean.
It's not as far from the station as I thought:-)
There's nothing you can't find around here and you can walk around Zurich.
It's great to see the night view and go home.

TTravelshortsWe stayed at ibis Zürich City West for one night while visiting Zurich, and it worked well as a straightforward place to stay for a quick stop in the city.
We had a triple room, which was a good size and worked well for our needs. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with enough space for luggage and a good night’s sleep after travelling. It wasn’t luxurious, but it had everything you would expect from an Ibis hotel and felt well maintained.
In terms of location, the hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Zurich’s main train station, which makes it reasonably convenient if you’re arriving by train. The area felt easy to navigate, and although it’s not right in the historic centre, it’s close enough to reach the main parts of the city without too much difficulty.
Our stay was very short — we arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning — so we didn’t get the chance to explore the hotel or use any of the facilities such as the restaurant or breakfast service. For us, the hotel simply served as a comfortable overnight stop.
I would recommend ibis Zürich City West if you’re looking for a clean, reliable hotel for a short stay in Zurich. It’s particularly suitable if you just need somewhere practical to sleep before continuing your journey.

GGuest UserOne apartment room is dated and not so clean. Lots of debris on the carpet. The hinge on the washroom door totally came off so we couldn't lock it. We could change to another room but we opted not to. There's no fan in the shower and toilet area so the shower room gets very humid and the toilet stall starts to smell. Only a small box of tissues available and limited kitchen towels; there were no paper towels or dish soap, which is a bit inconvenient when doing dishes. Free coffee and water in the lounge is a plus. Walking from Zurich hb to the hotel is slightly an upward trek, especially with suitcases. Overall, an ok hotel. Breakfast was decent.

GGuest UserHotel is a 10 min walk from the bus station which connects to the train from the airport. The same bus station that takes to the central train station. It costs about 12CHF to 18CHF to or from train station. Hotel provides free rental bicycles which is very convenient. Facilities are OK. Room size is reasonable.
Be aware that the uncovered glass of the shower may not suitable for all if privacy is important. The room we stayed were extremely hot. While it is only 14°-18° outside, the room temperature is definitely 30°+. It made hard to wear the proper clothing to fit the temperature for the day. No aircon, the only way to cool the room down is to open the side window which leaves no wall from the room to outside of the building. Yes, the only barrier are a couple of metal bars between the desk against the window to outside the building from our ninth floor room. Plus the window can closed by itself, you need to reopen it multiple times if you want the cooler air for a little longer. It’s hard for a hot night sleep.
Breakfast is good and has good variety of the food and drinks. It costs 24CHF p.p. if it is pre-ordered.
If stays in the same room, no, it is not recommended to stay here. It may have other rooms that are not as hot as the one we stayed.

MMarc1Really good modern hotel with spacious rooms. I recommend for the people that decide for this hotel to arrive by car, as it is a bit more remote, the valet parking takes care of the rest. Fantastic restaurant on the 4th floor, in case you don’t want to travel into the city, over all a 5/5 experience!
