Hotels with balcony in Windermere Town

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain with beautiful scenery, but getting in and out is a bit inconvenient. You either need to drive yourself or take a taxi. The hotel is quite old and has no elevator. Since we arrived early, we checked in, stored our luggage, and went out. By the time we returned to the hotel, our luggage had already been thoughtfully placed in our room. Because the building is old, the floorboards creak quite loudly when you walk in the room. The room has both heating and air conditioning. The breakfast buffet is quite simple, with juice, cheese, bread, yogurt, and some salami-like meats. You can also order an English breakfast from the menu. Unfortunately, the Michelin-starred restaurant was closed those two days, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the environment is good, and it's worth a stay.

We feel lucky we stayed at Ryebeck Hotel! We booked there to celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthdays ! The hotel offers stunning views of Lake Windermere and the surrounding countryside. The hotel offers a restaurant serving delicious local cuisine 7 days a week breakfast, lunch and dinner. A cosy lounge area with a fireplace, and a lovely garden where they can relax and unwind. On top of everything: the staff was amazing! There is a fantastic team who very willingly offered as a family environment! Friendly, smiling staff who truly upgraded all our plans for our daughter’s birthday celebrations offering to all of us a unique experience! Thank you Tommy and your great colleagues! We will definitely visit Ryebeck Hotel!

The scenery is very good! ! The picturesque scenery, as mentioned in many reviews, the hotel itself is a scene. The traditional English manor style, blooming gardens, and tranquil lakeside all make people linger. During this trip to the Lake District, I went to the town center and ambleside. It is not an exaggeration to say that I personally feel that only by staying at the Langdale Chase Hotel can we truly appreciate the beauty of the Lake District. The attitude of the staff is also relatively good. The hotel is about 5 kilometers from the railway station and a taxi is 10 pounds; it is about 2 kilometers from the ambleside pier. You can also take a bus to these two towns, but the bus stop is five to six hundred meters away from the hotel, which is not particularly recommended. If you are not driving by yourself, it is better to take a taxi. If you are taking a taxi, it is best to call the front desk. It usually takes ten minutes. If you are in a hurry, it is best to advance. The toilet facilities are slightly outdated, but there is no major impact. The lake view room I stayed this time was quite spacious with a balcony. Overall, very satisfied!

This house was built in 1850. This house can be checked in through a password. The bed is soft and comfortable, the room is very warm, and the hot water is sufficient. It is a little bit far from the railway station, but very close to the lake. A good trip experience!

The hotel is located nearby the lake with extraordinary views. I typically love the lounge and the restaurant. There is an open ground area exclusively for hotel residents. The service was great and friendly. However, the ventilator in my bathroom was broken, causing inconvenience. And, if you are looking for a AC during summer visit, you might need to change another one. But overall, worth to visit and stay!

The hotel of the nature of the hotel is a bit away from the lake. It is clean to sleep at night, but you need to drive down. The hostess looked like an Eastern European, friendly, and put coffee snacks in the restaurant to use. The family was on the first floor and we unfortunately got the room on the third floor. The stairs are very steep and inconvenient. The room was very warm and the fan was too hot. The bathroom is a little smaller and can be used.

Although the location of the hotel is not close to the lake, it is between the town of Windermere and Bowness. It is basically a 10-15 minute walk to the lake to take a boat. The World of Peter Rabbit is the closest. The room is large and clean, and the bathroom is the largest among the hotels booked in the seven cities on this trip to the UK. The room is very warmly decorated, the cabinets are very large, and there are many hangers suitable for storing a lot of clothes. The boss's father is from Hong Kong. He chats with us every morning and recommends our travel routes. He is very enthusiastic. The breakfast is also very rich, and the price is very reasonable during the peak summer season.

Let’s start with the absolute best part of the stay: stepping out of the back of the hotel. The mature gardens stretch right down to the water’s edge, complete with the hotel's own private jetty. Sitting out on the terrace with a coffee in the morning, watching the mist rise off Windermere and the boats drift past, is worth a massive chunk of the room rate alone. Because it’s located right in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere, the convenience is unbeatable. You can park up (fair warning: parking is a hefty £25 per day) and completely forget about your car. The Bowness boat piers are a two-minute stroll away, and you are surrounded by local pubs and restaurants.

The feeling of an English country villa is very cozy. When traveling with a family, we thought that three people would squeeze into one bed, but when we came back, we found that the service staff had put up a folding bed. The service staff was very nice. If there was no service staff after 7pm, you could call if you needed anything, and enter and exit the hotel by yourself with the key. The restaurant is warm and clean, the service is good, and the dishes are also rich. It has its own independent parking lot. I will recommend it to my friends.
