The hotel service was excellent; all staff members greeted us proactively. The room was immaculate, cleaned twice daily, and bottled water was always promptly refilled when noticed missing. The hotel's dining and pool facilities were also fantastic! My child said we definitely have to stay at this hotel again next time we visit Seoul.

Extremely comfortable stay, spotlessly clean, perfect soundproofing - I never heard any sound from other guests. Location was great, easily walkable to many great restaurants and shopping areas, and with a direct indoor underground link to the City Hall metro station (not easy to find the first time, but my hint is to go from the lobby to the basement and then find the stairs that go down again). The view of the mountain and cityscape from the room was nice. My only complaint about the room was that it was full of little indicator lights from all the various gadgets (especially the toilet which shines like the sun) so you may need an eye mask if you are sensitive to light at night. Service was efficient but quite impersonal.

This is a great hotel, although the rooms are a bit small. The front desk was a little cold during check-in and didn't offer much information. However, during our two-day stay, the service was impeccable and thought-out. For example, at 9:30 PM, when we were buying snacks at the convenience store by the main entrance, the shuttle bus driver proactively asked if we wanted a ride up (we didn't even know there was a shuttle, as the front desk hadn't mentioned it). And you absolutely *must* try the bakery on the first floor – it's Seoul's number one French patisserie.

Overall, a nice experience and offered good value for money. The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing with a nice design throughout, and everything felt clean and well-maintained. The main drawback for me was the location. While technically in the city center, the hotel is situated uphill, which made the walk to and from the nearest subway station, Dongguk University Station, a bit tiring. It's not a severe issue, but if you plan on relying on the subway and walking a lot, be prepared for a minor climb. Additionally, there isn't much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel in terms of shops or restaurants, so you'll need to venture out for meals and entertainment. The hotel boasts two swimming pools, which is great, but it's important to note that a standard hotel guest only receive free access to the indoor swimming pool. Access to the other pool and the sauna facilities is an additional charge, which was a little disappointing. On a very positive note, the gym facility is excellent. I can't comment on the quality of the breakfast as it was not included with my room reservation. I inquired at the reception, and the price was quite high—around KRW 64,000 (USD 45) per guest—which I felt was rather expensive for a single meal. The most significant issue affecting my comfort was the poor soundproofing. I could clearly hear guests talking next door, and conversations from people walking in the hallway were also distinctly audible. This definitely detracted from the peace and quiet one hopes for in a hotel room, especially at night.

I stayed here for a night out in Seoul with a close friends from high school, and his wife meeting up in Asia. As always, when staying at the Grand Hyatt, you end up not having a “night out” but rather a “night in” because the amenities at the hotel are spectacular. The live band in the lobby bar, the pool turned into the Girbaud ice skating rink, amazingly cooked steakhouse, the indoor pool, etc etc. We had a great night, and once again, when staying at any Grand Hyatt, you never know who you’ll run into. On this occasion, we had run into solo artist/actor Mr Henry Lau, also from Super Junior, and was he was not only kind enough to take a quick photo with my friend’s wife, but I messed up the photo—and after learning I had bumbled the photo during her opportunity to meet one of her k-pop idols—was willing to take another entire series of photos. The staff ended up helping me with a medical emergency in the middle of the night and stayed very calm during the entire process. Which I will also report to the company directly. When traveling to Korea—Seoul, Jeju, etc. and anywhere abroad I often stay at the Grand Hyatt in the King Corner Suite. Such a beautiful room, but on this occasion it was just a normal King River view on 9F. A bit small for 3 people, but they made a sofa bed for me while I gave the couple the bed since I only grabbed the room for us (me) for a few hours before I head back to Wuhan—allowing my friends to enjoy the hotel to themselves after I departed. Easy checkout process for them. It was very nice. Will definitely be back. Grand Hyatt <3 !

The hotel's location is super convenient, right around the corner from City Hall subway station, and the airport shuttle bus stop is only about 100 meters away. Picture 6071 shows the travel time from the hotel to the airport for reference; it costs 18,000 KRW. The last bus from the airport departs at 10:30 PM. The hotel's condition is pretty standard; slippers are provided, but they're not disposable. There's no toothbrush or toothpaste, but shampoo and soap are available. The air conditioning works great, so it's not cold at all. There's also a coffee shop on the ground floor.

We stayed at Hotel Venue G in Seoul for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, it’s close to many attractions, restaurants, and shops, and very convenient for getting around the city. There’s also the beautiful Cheonggyecheon Stream right in front of the hotel, perfect for a peaceful walk in the morning or evening. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking for good value and a convenient location in Seoul.

Clean and nice hotel. Thanks for the Deluxe upgrade. I love the room so much - immediately feel at home. Professional staff always attend to the request promptly and helpful. The cons: 1. No concierge at the arrival - all at Level 1. 2. No iron provided - I have requested it, unfortunately the hotel unable to provide it. Not sure if that’s a safety practice. Despite that I had a nice stay and would love to come back. Overall

Environment: The location is excellent. It's just 20 meters straight ahead from Myeongdong Subway Exit 10. The airport bus stop is only 50 meters away, Myeongdong is right behind the hotel, and the North Face building and Daiso are across the street. Service: It was just average, I didn't really experience any special service. The hotel requires check-in at 3 PM, and they stored my luggage for me. There's a self-check-in machine at the front desk, which was quite convenient and available in Chinese. Facilities: It's definitely an older hotel. You absolutely need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, as the hotel doesn't provide them. They cost ₩1000 if you need to buy them.

Booked connecting rooms. Rooms were clean and spacious. Amenities were sufficient too. Location is just opposite the road from Myeongdong, very convenient. There is GS25 and a local coffee chain and Starbucks right downstairs. Only downside was the aircon is centrally controlled and it turns off when the set temperature is reached, so it can get a bit stuffy at times. Otherwise, it was a rather comfortable stay!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Hotel Review – Hotel Skypark Central Myeongdong Had a great stay here and would highly recommend it. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Myeongdong, surrounded by shopping, food options, and with easy access to public transport. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Despite being in a busy area, the room was quiet and allowed for good rest. Super Surprising for first staying but long period with Henn na , all facility was perfect and having gimmicks such robots welcoming and amenities delivery service on request anytime via Ginnie chatbot in room.  Anyway, all staff was also very nice and helpful. As Japanese style hotel, you might feel room is a bit small when checked in however I could feel more comfortable and like the room because all was complimented itself. Witt had no issue, Lots TV channel and large screen.  Thanks a lot , esp Ms.Takana (sorry if am typo) for great support since checked until today checked out. Will come back soon. Thanks a lo.

This is our 2nd time staying here. Housekeeping made our rooms daily. It was great coming back to a clean and neat room. The location is great as it was easy access to many places we visited. However, the friendliness of the staff was missing this time round. We did not feel welcomed as much as the 1st time we were there. We were invisible to the staff. No help was rendered for our luggage when my 10 yr old daughter and me were checking in or checking out. Just stating this point as feedback not a rant. We managed even without help rendered. We are used to travelling and being independent anyway. We still enjoyed our trip to Seoul tremendously. The price is on the high end but service does not justify the high price. I have stayed at other hotel chains with lower price but felt very much welcomed just by the warm and sincere smiles on the staffs’ faces.

Location of the hotel is superb! It's very convenient if you take k-limuisine bus 6701 from the airport, the bus stop is just in front of the hotel. All sights of the city center are walkable, but subway and bus stops are also 5 min away, so you can discover all areas of this beautiful city. The staff were friendly and hospitable, don't expect checking in earlier than 15.00 through. Amenities of the hotel are quite old, but mostly okay. The breakfast is just perfect! So tasty and various, highly recommend to add them to your booking. The only thing that disappointed us was the lighting system of the first room. It was turning on and off automatically and randomly during the night, we've experienced a pure torture. Reception sent us an electrician few times, but he couldn't fix it, so we requested changing the room. Thanks to the staff, they found a new room quickly and made a little upgrade, so we finally could have a couple of hours of sleep. Overall it was a good experience, so I can recommend the hotel Koreans for your trip to Seoul!

The front desk service attitude was decent, but it took a very, very long time. This was because the room type I booked wasn't available. They immediately suggested switching us to a lower-priced room, which we didn't agree to. The staff then kept typing away on their computer or phone, communicating with someone, until we called Ctrip ourselves. Coincidentally, they then said a room was available, claiming someone had canceled their reservation. This whole ordeal caused us to miss out on eating at the restaurant we wanted to go to that night. Plus, the shower in the room leaked severely, all the way to under the sink, making it very inconvenient to get ready.

The location is great, with a subway station and bus stops nearby. We were the first Chinese guests to check in. The price was reasonable, 500 RMB a day. However, check-in was at night!!! Check-in wasn't until 10 PM. I don't know if it was because it was crowded that day or if check-in is always at 10 PM. It was my first time there, so I don't understand, but I respect it.

Facilities: I felt very safe. You need a password to reach your room's floor before taking the subway. It's self-check-in, and the staff all speak Chinese and are very nice. Cleanliness: Pretty good. Environment: Perhaps because I requested a quiet location in advance, my room was in a good spot. For food, you can turn left and go up the hill, and they all speak Chinese. Since I was alone, I chose soup and rice. Turn left out the door, cross the zebra crossing, and go straight to subway exit 6. I think it's the closest exit. The staff are all very friendly and gentle, and they speak Chinese very well. I might choose to stay here again next time.

Good location, not too near the shopping street. Happy to have booked this place as the room was very clean, had an LG clothes steamer/dryer, was spacious. The counter did not give us the room with the bathtub as per our booking, and made excuses for not having one reserved. The room was incredibly spacious. For a double room, each bed was 1.2 meters wide, making it by far the largest I've seen compared to other hotels in Myeongdong. We had two large checked suitcases and a carry-on, and we could fully spread them out at the foot of the beds without blocking the walkway. All the room facilities were very new, and we didn't need to buy bottled water since it was provided in the room. On each floor, there's a lounge area opposite rooms 10 and 20, equipped with a garment steamer, a water dispenser, an ice maker, and a microwave – it was incredibly convenient! There's also a convenience store on the ground floor of the hotel where you can top up your T-money card. If you exit the main entrance and turn left, walking straight down the street, you'll reach Myeongdong Shopping Street and Lotte Department Store. It's about a 15-minute walk to Lotte. The subway station for Line 3 is roughly an 8-minute walk away. For around 1000, this hotel is truly a hidden gem!

The biggest pros: Strategically located in the heart of Myeongdong, you step right out into a bustling shopping street and night market. The Olive Young flagship store is downstairs, and there's a Starbucks right at the entrance. The subway station is a convenient 7-minute walk away, making it easy to get around. The cons: The room size is surprisingly small, making it a bit cramped when opening luggage. Soundproofing is also just average. Plus, showering inside the bathtub is quite inconvenient. They don't provide complimentary disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste; they cost about 6,000 KRW each. However, they do offer shampoo, hand soap, shower gel, and body lotion, which all smell pretty good. Overall, this is a typical hotel that excels in location. If your main focus is shopping and food, and you plan to spend most of your time outside the hotel, then it's quite suitable.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel! First, the **location is superb**. It's right outside Hoehyeon Station, next to Shinsegae Department Store, and just a short walk (a few hundred meters) to the Myeongdong shopping district. Second, the **service was impeccable**. The security guard at the entrance warmly greeted us and helped with our luggage. Check-in is on the 8th floor, which felt quite grand, and the staff were very attentive. Last but not least, the **hotel facilities are top-notch**. The decor is a charming European vintage style. Our room was clean and well soundproofed. The double room came fully equipped with both a bathtub and shower, an electric bidet toilet, a coffee machine, and a mini-fridge. This hotel next to Itaewon has small rooms and average facilities – nothing special, but clean. During the day, the location felt great; it was convenient to get everywhere since the subway entrance is right outside. But at night, it's a different story. Unless you're someone who can fall asleep instantly the moment your head hits the pillow, you're pretty much guaranteed a bad night's sleep. The clubs in Itaewon thump and boom until dawn, and even with earplugs in, that low-frequency vibrating 'thump-thump' sound will constantly get on your nerves.

The Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel & Serviced Residences delivers a generally good stay. The rooms are a comfortable size, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully appointed, making it easy to unwind after a busy day in the city. The fitness center and pool area exceed expectations—spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained. However, there are a few drawbacks that can impact your experience. Weekend breakfast service is limited to just three fixed time slots (6:30, 8:00, and 9:30 AM). Arriving at 9:00 AM means a 30-minute wait, which feels frustrating compared to hotels that offer rolling buffet times or extra seating. Similarly, the pool requires reservations for certain time windows, and children under 16 aren’t permitted in the locker or changing rooms. This policy makes it awkward for a parent and child—while you can change, your daughter cannot, which seems poorly thought out. Overall, the Sofitel Ambassador offers top-tier accommodations and amenities, but its rigid scheduling and family-unfriendly pool policies detract slightly from an otherwise wonderful hotel.

Excellent location, but the facilities were quite disappointing otherwise. The decor and design were reminiscent of an upgraded budget hotel. Housekeeping consistently left behind items like forgotten tissues or towels in the room. The most frustrating part was on the first day at check-in; the front desk staff, struggling with English, tried to assign me either a twin room or an accessible room, despite my booking for a standard single king-sized bed. After I refused, I was told there were no rooms available because the hotel was full. Excuse me?! If a hotel is full, guests should be upgraded, not asked to downgrade! After I firmly stated my refusal, the front desk claimed they'd consulted with a manager and found me a 'very good room.' It turned out to be the exact room type I had originally booked. What a ridiculous charade! Paying 2800 a night, I certainly didn't expect to experience such service and disrespectful treatment.
