Our family booked two large rooms on the 18th floor, each 55 square meters. We were traveling with children and had two 30-inch suitcases, which we could fully open in the room with no problem. The bathroom was also quite spacious with a wet and dry separation, and there was a bathtub, which was perfect after a tiring day of sightseeing and shopping. Every evening, there would be a thermos of hot red date and ginseng tea on the coffee table, and they even prepared a little surprise for the kids. Turndown service included placing slippers, water bottles, and glasses by the bedside. What touched me the most is that I'm a bit of a germaphobe and usually put a small towel under my jewelry and makeup bag. To my surprise, the hotel staff provided several neatly ironed and clean cloths for me to place my items on. I was genuinely moved; in over 20 years of staying at high-end luxury hotels, very few have demonstrated such meticulous attention to detail. This level of thoughtfulness from the Westin Chosun Seoul was truly exceptional! Thank you so much! The Executive Lounge breakfast was small but exquisite, and our whole family found it to be excellent. The ingredients were fresh and clean, and the taste was fantastic! 👍👍👍

Extremely comfortable stay, spotlessly clean, perfect soundproofing - I never heard any sound from other guests. Location was great, easily walkable to many great restaurants and shopping areas, and with a direct indoor underground link to the City Hall metro station (not easy to find the first time, but my hint is to go from the lobby to the basement and then find the stairs that go down again). The view of the mountain and cityscape from the room was nice. My only complaint about the room was that it was full of little indicator lights from all the various gadgets (especially the toilet which shines like the sun) so you may need an eye mask if you are sensitive to light at night. Service was efficient but quite impersonal.

The hotel is luxurious and comfortable. There's a shuttle service for transportation, and Didi (ride-hailing) can accurately reach it. You can also walk up and down if you prefer, consider it a workout. Housekeeping cleans daily and provides turndown service. The hairdryer in the room has two voltage sockets, be careful not to plug it into the wrong one; for the first two days, I plugged it into the wrong one, and the airflow was so weak it took almost an hour to dry my hair. The lobby's shaved ice is delicious; I had it two days in a row. The in-room dining steak is incredibly tasty, truly unforgettable. It's worth staying here.

It is a good 5 star hotel that I got for a good price on Trip.com. For this price before, I couldn't imagine getting a 5 star hotel. The reason maybe that the location is not so close to the main tourist areas of Seoul and you are required to walk maybe 5+ minutes up and down hill to reach the subway station. Apart from that, you'll be staying in a quiet place with a short taxi ride from nearby tourist spots like Myeongdong. If you are staying many days in Seoul and want to be away from the busy streets filled with people and cars, this is a suitable place.

I stayed here for a night out in Seoul with a close friends from high school, and his wife meeting up in Asia. As always, when staying at the Grand Hyatt, you end up not having a “night out” but rather a “night in” because the amenities at the hotel are spectacular. The live band in the lobby bar, the pool turned into the Girbaud ice skating rink, amazingly cooked steakhouse, the indoor pool, etc etc. We had a great night, and once again, when staying at any Grand Hyatt, you never know who you’ll run into. On this occasion, we had run into solo artist/actor Mr Henry Lau, also from Super Junior, and was he was not only kind enough to take a quick photo with my friend’s wife, but I messed up the photo—and after learning I had bumbled the photo during her opportunity to meet one of her k-pop idols—was willing to take another entire series of photos. The staff ended up helping me with a medical emergency in the middle of the night and stayed very calm during the entire process. Which I will also report to the company directly. When traveling to Korea—Seoul, Jeju, etc. and anywhere abroad I often stay at the Grand Hyatt in the King Corner Suite. Such a beautiful room, but on this occasion it was just a normal King River view on 9F. A bit small for 3 people, but they made a sofa bed for me while I gave the couple the bed since I only grabbed the room for us (me) for a few hours before I head back to Wuhan—allowing my friends to enjoy the hotel to themselves after I departed. Easy checkout process for them. It was very nice. Will definitely be back. Grand Hyatt <3 !

We stayed at Hotel Venue G in Seoul for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, it’s close to many attractions, restaurants, and shops, and very convenient for getting around the city. There’s also the beautiful Cheonggyecheon Stream right in front of the hotel, perfect for a peaceful walk in the morning or evening. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking for good value and a convenient location in Seoul.

Room reasonable. We were 2 adults and 2 kids (12 years old). Just managed to get our 3 bags and 1 carry in it. I would describe the layout as a bit weird. As you enter the sink and the pantry (coffee making facilities) are together. While one brushes his teeth the other one is making coffee. The bathroom is only wc and shower. The beds were comfortable and were sufficient for 4 of us. We did not have bfast but there is a CU in the hotel itself. The front desk staff were very helpful and courteous. Distance to Euljiro 4 station is just 100 meters away, moving around the city would be easy but walking to central areas like Myeongdong may be too far. Hotel is good if you are paying a reasonable price for it like usd 120-140. Unfortunately we booked during peak time and paid like USD 220 for it. Overall we were satisfied but be mindful of the pricing per night when you choose this hotel.

⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ (3 out of 5 stars) Location: 10/10 | Hotel: 5/10 I booked Sejong Hotel because of its excellent online ratings (8–10 range), but the actual experience didn’t quite match the reputation. The room was large and spacious, offering plenty of room to move around comfortably — that was the highlight. However, upon check-in around 12:30 PM, I was charged an early check-in fee even though I had requested it in advance. The bathroom had hair in the shower, a ring in the toilet bowl, and a faint bug-spray odor. Not terrible, but noticeable. Housekeeping didn’t provide full daily cleaning — they simply straightened up the room, replaced towels, restocked coffee, and made the bed. It looked tidy, but not freshly cleaned. Another challenge was the daily noise from demonstrators outside the hotel. The music was loud and went on much longer than the front desk claimed (they said only an hour a day). When I asked about it at check-in, the staff initially ignored my question before giving a dismissive answer. Overall, the location is absolutely prime — right next to the train station and within walking distance to several attractions — but the higher price seems to reflect that convenience, not five-star quality or an 8–10 rating. If you’re looking for a central spot and don’t mind average service or cleanliness, this hotel works. But if you’re expecting luxury or true 5-star standards, you may be disappointed.

Good Location, But Room Size & Soundproofing Could Be Better Stayed at Crown Park Hotel Myeongdong during my trip to Seoul. The location is definitely the highlight — just a short walk to Myeongdong shopping street, subway stations, and lots of food and convenience stores nearby. Super convenient for exploring the city! The room was clean and modern, but a bit smaller than expected, even by Seoul standards. It felt a little cramped for two people with luggage. Also, the soundproofing wasn’t great — I could hear hallway noise and some sounds from neighboring rooms. On the plus side, staff were polite and helpful, and I appreciated the late checkout at 2PM without extra charge. Overall, it’s a decent stay if you’re prioritizing location, but might not be the most comfortable if you’re sensitive to noise or need more space.

The hotel service was excellent. When we were checking in, we realized we'd left a backpack, including our passports, on the airport shuttle. Upon learning we had elderly family and children with us, Ruby, who was at the front desk, helped us check in without our passports. She patiently communicated with us using English and a translation app, assisted in contacting the bus company, and explained the situation to ease our worries. My husband was initially concerned they wouldn't follow up actively and even tried calling the lost and found himself, but found they couldn't communicate in English, so he had to ask Ruby for help again. After Ruby spoke with them again, she asked us to rest and wait for her call. We returned to our room feeling anxious, and about ten minutes later, we received a call asking us to come downstairs. Ruby informed us that she had contacted the bus, confirmed the bag was on board, and that the bus would arrive at the stop next to the hotel in about 5 minutes. She even walked us to the bus stop (which was truly very close, about a 2-minute walk) to make sure we found it easily, and we successfully retrieved our bag and documents. Our daughter drew a picture on the spot to express her gratitude (I regretted not having any Chinese specialty souvenirs to give). Here, our entire family wants to once again thank all the staff, including Ruby. They also helped a lot during the rest of our stay and were all very friendly and enthusiastic (they even helped us call taxis, and the English communication was the smoothest compared to the other hotels we stayed at later).

The room is clean a d the bed and pillows are very comfortable that I can sleep very well without waking up with a sore neck. The location is very convenient. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Train station is just a few minutes walk away. There is a 7-11 at the basement of the hotel. Olive Young is just a few steps away. The only minus is that there’s not enough of sockets for charging in the room. It would be better if there’s more sockets in the room.

We stayed on a high floor with a great view. The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and serviced daily. One day, I accidentally left the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on, so it wasn't cleaned, but when I returned in the evening, the front desk promptly provided fresh towels and slippers. The hotel service was also quite good; the staff were very friendly and helpful, and communication was smooth. Luggage storage was available too. The area around the hotel was very convenient for shopping and dining, with the bustling city center just a few minutes' walk away. Getting around was also easy, as public transportation was readily accessible with both subway and bus stations nearby. You could even see the bus and subway stations right from the hotel room window.

I have to say as a first time sole female traveler— I always travel solo and I must say! this place is a gem! Lemme tell you first, the entrance to the hotel is at the side (I am bad with directions)… if you come late and the mall is close, face left and entrance is just at the side lol. In front of the hotel, there are lots of restaurants and you can always eat as solo traveler. Lots of choices and good foods. Lots of street market vendors if you just walk 1-2minutes and love this. I initially dont like the room (because of the view) (I only book places for their views tbh) as I have initially asked for a good view room on my request and all ;; and as what was advertised but it is my mistake for not booking city view room but I saw on some reviews they got nice city view room; and had to ask for a change because I stayed for 6nights. They advised as it was late, they have got no rooms available and informed me they will change on the next day. They promptly changed it on the morning itself saving me the time in to initially checking out and wait for availability. They were really quick in addressing the concerns I have and was very helpful. Really appreciate it as a first timer visitor in the city. Will definitely come back to this hotel and will book city view room next because so worth it!!!! Thank you for being so kind and helpful ❤️❤️ DDP is just 5mins walk and was so mesmerised! I have got the trail view and the trail is just so pretty! Will include the pictures of the trail! Once you got on the trail, you can see Namsan Tower as well! Very very wonderful stay!

The hotel is big and beautiful, full of services and a great taste in design. However, there’s too little staff compared to the space and the guests. Check-in line is very long, the waiting for your luggage to be delivered and picked up is longer than the average. Also, they do not provide a room where guests that check out could get changed/shower before going to the airport. Rooms are a little narrow and the bathroom not specially comfortable. The room was tiny and old, with bare walls, completely different from what I imagined. The bed was also small, and the bedding quality was terrible. The air conditioning was full of dust and grime. Facilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive. There's a hot and cold water dispenser in the hallway, and it seems there's also an ice machine. The water dispenser in the hallway is really a thoughtful touch; we hardly bought any water. Plus, there were two bottled waters provided in the room daily. We even had leftover bottled water we bought. The room had a balcony, a mini-fridge, a wardrobe, and other standard amenities, as well as a full-length mirror, which was great for taking photos. Cleanliness: The room was cleaned daily and was very tidy. The bathroom was also clean and hygienic. Overall, there were no issues with the cleanliness standards. Environment: The lobby is spacious. We usually take the elevator down one floor when we leave. Right next to it is a subway entrance. This hotel has several subway entrances; the closest one is near a supermarket, with wooden stairs. Sorry, I forgot the specific subway exit number. Service: The front desk staff spoke fluent English. I didn't encounter anyone who spoke Chinese. The service felt very cold. Our English is quite basic, and we could sense a certain arrogance and aloofness from them. The front desk service was quite uncomfortable. However, we stayed for 6 nights and 7 days and generally didn't have many requests that required the front desk, so we just ignored it. The cleaning staff were very nice, with a particularly gentle attitude. They would always greet us, and they were very diligent when cleaning the room. Location: It's about 1.3 kilometers from Myeongdong, which takes over 15 minutes to walk. There are a few small alleys next to the hotel with some eateries. If you're not picky, you can try them out. They look like small shops that locals frequent, a bit like those in a farmers' market. I'd read reviews mentioning a somewhat dark path, but it was actually fine; it's just the short walk from the subway exit to the hotel. There are three convenience stores downstairs. A 24-hour CU, and two others I don't know. CU is the closest, just a few tens of meters away. Overall, the hotel itself is good and worth staying at, but it's true that it's not particularly close to tourist attractions, requiring a fair bit of walking. Just consider it good exercise!

I booked a room at Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun through Trip.com as it was advertised to be sufficient for triple sharing. Unfortunately, the actual room setup did not meet this description. The bed provided was clearly sized for two people only. As shown in the photo, two pillows fit exactly to the edge of the bed, leaving no additional space. This raised serious concerns about how the room could realistically accommodate two adults on one bed, let alone be suitable for triple sharing. I requested a room change to a king-size bed with an additional bed, but the hotel informed me that: Rooms with king-size beds do not have sufficient space to fit an extra bed, and all suites were fully booked. As a result, no alternative arrangement could be offered. In addition, the shower water temperature was capped at around 37–38°C, which felt too cold for winter and made the shower experience uncomfortable. While the hotel staff were polite, the stay was disappointing due to inaccurate advertising and lack of practical solutions. I hope the booking platform and hotel will review their room descriptions more carefully to avoid misleading future guests.

This hotel next to Itaewon has small rooms and average facilities – nothing special, but clean. During the day, the location felt great; it was convenient to get everywhere since the subway entrance is right outside. But at night, it's a different story. Unless you're someone who can fall asleep instantly the moment your head hits the pillow, you're pretty much guaranteed a bad night's sleep. The clubs in Itaewon thump and boom until dawn, and even with earplugs in, that low-frequency vibrating 'thump-thump' sound will constantly get on your nerves.

All of them speak fluent English, are very warm hearted and takes initiative in offering excellent service with genuine smiles. Our hearts are deeply grateful to them. 5 star 🌟 because of them. 4 star for the rooms don’t have Netflix. It would be great if the family can gather over Netflix entertainment. Small issue though as the service more than cover up for everything! :) We were offered a nice river view which was romantic! Very clean hotel. Upon check-in, the front desk staff explained that rooms are cleaned every two days and linens are changed every three days. There's some noise during the day from the construction site next door, but it didn't bother me much, probably because I was out late exploring at night. There are many convenience stores nearby, and there's a small shop downstairs that I visited twice in three days; the food was delicious. There was also a Chinese-speaking staff member who gave very detailed recommendations. I also had some good BBQ at a place across the street.

This hotel has super convenient location. You can get from the airport by Limousine Bus (12$ only). Transport, shops, main sightseeings located nearby. Rooms are quite small but clean and there is no noise (cannot hear your neighbors). There is also kind of convenient shop on the B1 floor (-1) where you can cook or warm some food. Also, at B1 you can find washing machine and dryer too.
