Location: Very close to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (lines 2/3/4/5). Shopping: Hyundai Outlet, DDP Market (closed during Chinese New Year), Doosan Tower, Gwangjang Market, Lotte FITIN. Food: Dozens of restaurants in the alley across the street. Cosmetics: Olive Young is diagonally opposite. Myeongdong: Three stops on Line 2. Gangnam: A few stops from Dongguk University Station on Line 5. Hongdae: Reachable within half an hour!

Each room comes with a KRW 50,000 gift card: I forgot how to use this one. Located in Myeongdong, it's an older five-star hotel. Because it's an older five-star, the building is a bit low-rise and not very prominent in Myeongdong (as a person bad with directions, I had to use navigation every time to get back to the hotel). The Airport Limousine Bus 6701 goes directly there, which is super convenient! Across from the hotel: There's a 7-Eleven and GS25 if you use the underground passage. Next door, there's an emart24. Facilities: Well-equipped. Cleanliness: Good. Ambiance: Stylish, but the corridor outside the room had a slightly unpleasant smell. It's very close to Lotte Department Store, and Shinsegae Department Store isn't far either; Shinsegae is a bit better for shopping. Service: Polite and enthusiastic. The room key card is made of wood and is quite beautiful.

pros : 1. secret king room is quite big for seoul standard. the interior design is fun, red and black. motorized curtain. windows can be opened ( i need this feature , i cant stay in a room without ventilation ). 2. there is hoehyeon station subway line blue in front of the hotel, very convenient. 3. gym is a bit small but sufficient for me, i can get free unli water bottle here 4. the smell of this hotel is amazing, loving it. just thinking of it makes me miss this hotel already. 5. the staffs here are very good looking ( k beauty is truly unbeatable ). both female and male staffs. i didnt really remember their name but i remember Ms. Daisy very yeoppoyo. one day i cant remember his name, one of the staff gave me 10 bottles of water. super nice. kamsahamnida. great attention to detail, they gave us notifications like BTS concert and weather forecast. 6. on first night, the staff gave us sparkling water and chocolate, my daughter loving it. such a nice gesture. 7. toiletries Byredo are so awesome, they looked expensive. 8. housekeeping staffs are super fast and efficient. cons : 1. shower pressure for hot water is slightly low, however for cold water is quite good. but for this weather, hot water is much needed. 2. they only provide plastic water bottle in this hotel, not too eco friendly. 3. toothbrush and toothpaste are not free here, you need to pay for it 3,300won. 4. the room lighting plan a bit too dim for me, if it can be brighten up, it would be perfect chef's kiss. the control for lighting with the knobs are a bit confusing at first, but i gotten use to it after couple of times trying

If you're staying in Myeongdong, I highly recommend this established hotel. The subway entrance is right downstairs, and there's a bus stop just across the street. Lotte Department Store is also right next door. The location is absolutely unbeatable! The cleanliness and service are excellent, and the staff are not only good-looking but also very gentle. The breakfast is quite delicious. The only downside is that the room is a bit small, but that's to be expected given the location.

This hotel is quite old. For a hotel that costs 4-5k a night during peak season, the view from the window is really just average, to be honest. The interior design of the rooms is also very ordinary. My mom even said it's not as good as a 400 RMB/night hotel back home [awkward laugh]. It's supposed to be a hotel with an 'old money' vibe, but apart from the slightly more luxurious lobby design, you really can't see any five-star luxury anywhere else. My stay experience gets 🌟🌟🌟, and the interior design only gets 🌟🌟🌟🌟. However, it's right next to Shilla Duty Free, just a two or three-minute walk away. So, it's convenient for those 'suckers' who want to shop at the duty-free store.

Excellent stay at New Seoul Hotel Myeongdong! The hotel location was perfect very convenient and close to Myeongdong shopping street, restaurants, convenience stores, and subway/train stations, making it easy to travel around Seoul. Airport bus access was also very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were friendly, helpful, and always welcoming during our stay.

The location is super convenient, with subway, bus stops, and even an airport shuttle nearby. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Especially a gentleman with glasses at the front desk, who was so patient in explaining how to get to the airport shuttle and even drew us a map! I would definitely prioritize staying at this hotel again on my next trip to Seoul!

Staying at this hotel in Seoul is incredibly convenient. Getting here from Incheon Airport is a breeze – just take bus 6015 directly to the hotel, and for your return, you can catch the bus right outside. It's super handy! There are also several subway stations nearby. If you're coming from Line 2, exit 10 has an escalator, which is great if you're traveling with luggage. Check-in was fast and the staff were lovely, always smiling. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job daily, even noticing I have long hair that needs blow-drying and kindly swapped out my old hairdryer for a newer, more efficient one. That was a really thoughtful touch!

Facilities: Well-equipped. Check-in at 3 PM, check-out at 12 PM. The decor is a bit classic, but the fridge, safe, and wardrobe are all present and accounted for. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. The hallway has a strong fragrance, and it's very quiet. I pre-booked a non-smoking room with the hotel, and there wasn't even a trace of smoke smell. Environment: The space is similar to hotels in China, very spacious and ample. Service: There are 24-hour free luggage lockers downstairs, which is very convenient. Check-in can be done self-service.

The hotel is highly automated with self check-in/out. Amenities are requested via kiosks or robots and come quite fast. My kid loved the robot coming to the room and the moving dinosaur in the lobby. They don’t change the bed linen every day, an after housekeeping on my second day, the hotel slippers were taken away and not replaced, plus you need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The location is very convenient, close to many restaurants and shopping streets, right opposite a 7-Eleven, and about a 10-minute walk to Shinsegae Duty Free, which is the meeting point for many guided tours booked online (GetYourGuide, Klook, KKDay, SeoulPass, Trip.com, etc.). The child-friendly/accessible room was a big plus. We could push the two small beds together with no side table in between, making it safer for our young child to sleep without worrying about falling.

I had an excellent 6-night stay at ENA Suite Hotel Namdaemun. The hotel is in a fantastic location, within walking distance of City Hall Station, Namdaemun Market, Deoksugung Palace, and many restaurants and convenience stores. It was very convenient for sightseeing and using public transportation throughout Seoul. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, especially by Seoul standards. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well maintained, and housekeeping did a great job every day. The in-room amenities and reliable Wi-Fi made the stay even more enjoyable. What impressed me most was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They were always helpful, courteous, and willing to assist whenever needed. The hotel offers excellent value for money, combining a convenient location, comfortable accommodations, and quality service. After spending 6 nights here, I can confidently recommend ENA Suite Hotel Namdaemun to both first-time visitors and returning travelers to Seoul.

First off, the hotel service is great, especially the breakfast. There's a good variety, and the waiter is really enthusiastic and quite charming. The hygiene is just okay; I found a hair on the bed, and the bedding felt a bit old and worn. The duvet was also a little thin. The bathroom has a bathtub, which isn't very convenient; I think it would be better to remove it, though that might be too costly. The hotel's location is excellent, right near Dongdaemun, with plenty of shopping malls and restaurants nearby. The price isn't too high either, so overall, it's great value for money.

My husband and I had an amazing experience staying at Skypark Hotel 3 in Myeongdong! We stayed here for 12 days, and it was the best decision ever. The rooms are clean, and the service and staff were fantastic - friendly, helpful, and super polite. They also offer amenities like drinking water, weighing scale for your luggages, and coin laundry. But my favorite part is its location! It's near everything - the airport limousine bus station, train station, Myeongdong shopping street, namsan tower, malls and shopping centers, convenience stores, coffee shops, and restaurants. This is now our go-to hotel in Seoul!

I stayed at this hotel while visiting Korea for a health check-up at Korea University Guro Hospital, and my first impression was excellent thanks to the incredibly kind front desk staff. Since I needed to drink a lot of water for my colonoscopy preparation, they generously provided plenty of bottled water and showed such warm hospitality throughout my stay. I stayed in Room 803, and the small private balcony with a beautiful city view was absolutely wonderful. I stayed with my mother, and the bedding was so clean and comfortable that I was able to forget my worries about the health check-up the next day and sleep very peacefully. Another thing I really appreciated was the taxi stand located right outside the hotel. Since I did not have a Korean phone number, it was difficult to call Kakao Taxi, so having taxis readily available made everything so convenient. It only cost about 5,800 won to comfortably get to Korea University Guro Hospital. Thank you again for the kindness and wonderful service. I would gladly stay here again in the future.

Location: This hotel is reasonably close to Subway Line 5, but a bit further from Line 3. There are plenty of convenience stores nearby; if you turn right out of the hotel and cross an intersection, there's a large 7-Eleven with a microwave and hot water – very convenient for solo diners. On the way to Line 3, there's a large agricultural market selling mainly dried goods, with few snack stalls. There's also a Michelin-starred noodle shop nearby. Other shops are mostly commercial. Overall, it lacks a lively, local atmosphere. Lotte Department Store is very close, just two stops on Line 3. Across the road, there's a stop for Airport Bus 6001, named 'Baiton Hotel'. Service: The staff speak a little Chinese and are generally good. Environment: In the room, things like the air conditioning, lighting, and whether you need room service are all controlled via a panel. The air conditioning temperature adjustment isn't very comfortable for winter. Both the room and the hotel overall feel a bit dated.

Friendly and great service by the front desk staff. Initially was given a room on the 8th floor according to my request, but the room size was far too small than what I anticipated for 3 senior citizens. There was no walking space and no place for us to hang our clothes. However, the staff and the manager was helpful and kind to switch us to another bigger room on the 2nd floor. He even was willing to let me view the room first before I decide to take it up without added cost. When I called them during the night to say the room was very cold and cannot adjust the temperature since it is centralized controlled, they immediately sent a portable heater up to us. The front desk staff were all very courteous and helped us with our direction to find a nearby hospital for my sister who sprained her ankle and even wrote in Korean language for us to show to the hospital and also our tour meeting place to the taxi driver. On our last day, when it rained, they also offered us umbrella to get around outside. We could also order food in. Room was always cleaned up. Checking in and out also a breeze. Thumbs up for their excellent service. 👍👍👍👍

The room was spacious enough to open two large suitcases at once, and the bathroom was fine too. The air conditioning wasn't super powerful, but it kept the room at a comfortable temperature overnight – not too cold, just right. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be the lack of charging outlets; there was only one by the desk, which wasn't very convenient. However, the price was excellent, and public transportation right outside the door was very convenient. The hotel also offered free shuttle buses to various shopping areas. Even walking to places near Myeongdong was a perfectly acceptable distance. It was much better than I expected, and if I come back to Myeongdong, I would definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel is right by the Myeongdong subway exit, just across the street from the bustling Myeongdong shopping district. Its location and transport links are, without a doubt, excellent! I've stayed at this hotel many times before, but this was probably the worst experience. **Amenities:** The slippers are now thin, paper-like ones, similar to what you'd find in a budget hotel back home. Toiletries are also now charged for (which, I understand, many countries are doing). The towels were a bit old, but still clean and tidy. This time, I stayed on the 2nd floor, which felt like it had been newly renovated. The room was on the street side, and the soundproofing wasn't great, so it was a bit noisy, which made it hard to sleep. **Cleanliness:** Definitely no issues with cleanliness; it was consistently high-standard. **Environment:** City center, undeniably a great location, convenient for getting everywhere! **Service:** The service was good, but compared to years ago, it felt less personal and more procedural.

Service: Apart from the housekeeping staff who were quite proactive and friendly, the front desk and restaurant staff were just average. I wanted to highlight some details I noticed during my trip: 1. They cleaned all the stains off the magnifying mirror, a service I haven't received at other hotels of the same star rating. 2. I visited during the ***** New Year (CNY), and the hotel diary correctly labeled it as CNY, not LNY – much appreciated! 🫶 3. The hotel was very attentive to personal belongings; even when I went downstairs to pick up takeout, they carefully verified the order number. Additionally, the hotel breakfast was excellent. I stayed for four days and three nights, and I had a very satisfying breakfast every morning. The room itself was a bit small, but its convenient location made up for it. It was easy to get around by taxi or on foot! Just a heads-up: if you're heading to Incheon Airport from here, you should allow 1.5 hours for travel time, as there can be traffic. Gimpo Airport might be a more convenient option.

Myeongdong Lotte, Myeongdong Shinsegae, and the Myeongdong shopping street are all within easy reach. Plus, the airport shuttle bus stop is less than a five-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. There's a Korean lady at the front desk who speaks excellent Chinese, and another Chinese lady, so communication was a breeze. The lobby has a free coffee machine and popcorn, and the doorman works quite late. You need to use your key card to access the guest floors, which made me feel very secure. Traveling with kids means location, transport, and dining options, catering to both crowds and quiet spots, are all key considerations. First off, the location was perfect – the airport shuttle drops you right at the hotel, just across the street. We noticed fewer Chinese guests and more European and American visitors. Right opposite the hotel, there's Olive Young, McDonald's, and a fried chicken joint. To the left and right of the hotel entrance, you'll find a 7-Eleven on each side. The streets behind the hotel are packed with restaurants. Just about 200 meters to the left of the hotel entrance is Mapo Subway Station, which is only one stop from Yeouido Department Store – super convenient. If you head right from the hotel, you'll reach Gongdeok Subway Station, where you can find the popular Egg Drop sandwiches, which are a great value for breakfast. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, so it's a good idea to bring your own set. If you forget, there's a machine on the first floor where you can buy them. For your return journey, you can catch the airport shuttle to the airport right in front of the McDonald's opposite the hotel. You can buy tickets on-site by scanning a QR code or paying with cash. Highly recommend this hotel for families with children.

The front desk staff doesn't speak Chinese, but their English is excellent and very standard – none of that hard-to-understand 'Korean English.' Their attitude was also good. 4200 RMB for three nights, the weekend prices are really high. But honestly, it felt more like a budget hotel equivalent in China at best; the room was tiny. Regarding hygiene, I'd say the cleaning was okay, and things were washed okay. However, for items like duvets, they definitely just throw everything into one wash, so we used our own disposable sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers. We also wiped down all doorknobs and similar surfaces with alcohol wipes to disinfect them. The location is super convenient, very close to the subway station, about a 2-minute walk. There's a GS25 and a 7-Eleven nearby, plus lots of eateries, though unfortunately, we were always busy shopping and didn't get to try them. I recommend GS25; they have a great selection of items.
