Excellent location, many restaurants and shopping centers around. Underground connection to metro which is definitely an advantage. However, the amenities is disappointing. Wellness centre including gym, swimming pool, sauna cost additional fee ¥4400 per day per person. I overlooked this charge when I booked the hotel which I think is just normal for a 4/5 stars hotel to provide these facilities to hotel guest at no additional cost. End up quite disappointing. I searched other similar grade hotels in the area, none of them charge extra for fitness centre. I consider fitness centre is very basic amenities for a 4/5 star hotel, so if this cost extra, there isn’t any amenities at all. Given the room rates they charge, I would not recommend this hotel.

The room was quite spacious and the service was good. The location is super convenient, with a direct underground passage to the subway. The bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area, which was a nice touch. While I understand that hotel prices increase during holidays, 2700 RMB per night for a 30 sqm room felt a bit pricey for a Chinese traveler.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Canal City, so you can go shopping as soon as you step out. The service is fantastic, and everyone is very friendly. The bathroom has great water pressure, making for a very enjoyable bath experience.

This hotel definitely shows its age, but you can still see glimpses of its past glory. The room size was decent, and the service was good, with all the necessary amenities. My only minor complaints are that the TV was tiny, and the bed faced a mirror directly. Also, if you turn off the main power switch, your phone won't charge.

This was my first time staying at Hotel New Otani Fukuoka, and its location is fantastic. It's right next to the Nanakuma Line subway station, and you can walk directly along Watanabe-dori to the Tenjin shopping district. Nearby, you'll find Mitsukoshi, Daimaru department stores, Daikoku Drugstore, sports brand shops, electronics stores, and more – making shopping incredibly convenient. As for the stay itself, the room size is generous for a Japanese hotel. I'd give the cleanliness, environment, and service a perfect five out of five, and the facilities a four. The staff's politeness and enthusiasm also deserve a five. However, I do need to point out that the hotel's breakfast doesn't quite live up to its five-star standard. The restaurant on the first floor feels small, and the breakfast selection is just average, nothing special. Also, with the current trend of non-smoking policies, why doesn't the hotel implement a complete smoking ban in all guest rooms? For guests with asthma who can't stand the smell of smoke, this feels unfriendly, doesn't it? Even if they've tried to remove the smoke smell, the lingering scent absorbed into the room, carpet, and walls still feels very strong. Smelling it can even trigger coughing and wheezing. If they could improve and upgrade the breakfast to better match a five-star hotel's positioning, and implement a complete smoking ban in guest rooms (with designated smoking areas), I believe even more guests would happily choose to stay at Hotel New Otani.

This hotel, located in the Hakata Station area, offers a shuttle bus service that takes about half an hour to reach the property. However, it's important to note that on weekdays, there are only a few scheduled trips to the hotel. On holidays, the free round-trip shuttle runs all day, approximately once an hour. During my stay, which was on a weekday, only the 10 AM and 11 AM shuttle buses were available for departure; there were no other times, so calling a taxi was more convenient. The hotel offers both Japanese and Western dining options, a simple gym, and a nice public onsen. Since the hotel is situated on a mountain, it's not overly crowded, making for a more comfortable stay. My room this time had a good view, and the lobby has been renovated. However, the room only had a shower stall and no bathtub, which guests should be aware of.

A perfect hotel with unexpectedly excellent service! From the lobby manager to the bar manager, everyone was always there when you needed them. The food was carefully prepared, and the non-slip flooring in the guest bathroom was impeccable. The marble on the walls looked like a painting, very tasteful. If I had to find a flaw, it would be that the hairdryer is a bit big and heavy, and the body lotion the hotel uses is too fragrant. Other than that, it's definitely the top choice hotel for value for money!

Everything was great, I was very satisfied. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The stunning ocean view and sound of the waves were incredibly relaxing. My only minor complaint is that the projector in the room emitted a very bright blue light after turning off the main lights at night, which made it hard to sleep. It would be absolutely perfect if this could be improved. 😉

It is very quiet in the residential area at night. 💛 Supplies: The kitchen and laundry supplies are complete, and the TV has a NexFilx account 💜 Nearby attractions: There is a business supermarket, Tang Quixote is within 10 minutes drive, you can take the subway 2 stops to Paypay Dome

The house is well-equipped, the interior is clean and tidy, all living supplies are complete, and the owner is also very good at communicating! 8 of us stayed for 4 days and lived very comfortably! The fly in the ointment is that there is only one bathroom, and 8 people need to queue up for a long time after taking a shower every day!

I had a pleasant stay at Nishitetsu Croom Hakata. The location is a major highlight—just a short walk from Hakata Station, making it very convenient for getting around the city. I liked the concept of selecting amenities yourself from the lobby, which feels efficient and eco-friendly. However, there were no complimentary water bottles provided in the room, and I noticed that shower caps were not available at the pick-up point either. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and very well-located—ideal for travelers who prioritize convenience.

Room is quite small, but functional, just need to strategize a bit, can’t leave multiple luggages concurrent opened. 28” luggage may have problem opening. Has bath tub. 8 minutes’ walk to Hakata Station & Dacomeca, 5 minutes’ walk to Full Full Hakata & Canal City, 8 minutes’ walk to Kushida Shrine, 3 minutes’ walk to Menya Ishii, 10 minutes’ walk to Yanagibashi Rengo Market where Shokudo Mitsu is. Sumiyoshi shrine & Rakusuien (a mini Japanese garden) is right behind (this is view from room). Public bath is gender split but small, works but quite a few mothers bring their primary school going boys into the same female bath. Has gender specific washing machines too. Free coffee & tea in the lobby from 2-9pm. Price point was decent. I upgraded to main building room because it was slightly bigger. Full house during my stay but never felt packed.

Pros: The rooms were very clean and spacious, with well-controlled temperature. The public bath on the tenth floor was warm and clean, and the outdoor bath was also very comfortable. The staff were polite and offered complimentary drinks. The breakfast was excellent, with very fresh and delicious sashimi! Cons: We went to the nearby shopping mall recommended by the hotel at 9:15 pm to have dinner, but due to the New Year, none of the shops were open. The food court, which was supposed to have a last order at 9:30 pm, was also closed, and even the vending machines were not operating. We returned to the hotel and searched several floors but couldn't find any snacks (such as instant noodles or chocolates). The hotel's vending machines only had drinks, and we couldn't find a way to order takeout in our room (the Japanese instructions were incomprehensible). We ended up going hungry all night. I suggest the hotel provide food options in the evenings on special occasions. Other: The hotel is suitable for drivers and offers free parking.

Summary: don't stay here. You've been warned. I've been to many capsule hotels in Japan. None were as horribly bad and overpriced as this one. Good: close to the station and the staff do what they can within their (very confined) perceived limits Bad: no sound insulation so you get to enjoy ambient sounds like traffic, trains and other patrons scuffling about during nighttime. The mattress is moldy, dirty and super thin so it doesn't feel comfortable unless you're used to sleeping on a moldy floor. The layout makes absolutely no sense at all. They tried cramming in as many capsules as possible in one small area and called it a day. 2 toilet stalls for 62 capsules? Laughable. The bath area is minuscule so you're queueing just to get a cramped dip. Lockers are minuscule and the luggage area is right next to the reception so you have to cross public area just to get some stuff out of your luggage. No space to unpack in peace either. I'd rather have them drop the breakfast and bathing area in favour of fixing the one thing they're supposed to deliver: a good night's sleep. Consider this place a last resort, not a proper stay.

Hip hotel, hip food, room, balcony, all-inclusive food~ And a hotel with a 2:00 PM check-out time ♥️❤️🩷 Stayed here twice. Young, casual, yet professional staff! The second time, there were no rooms at this hotel, so I stayed at the Tenjin One Building One Fukuoka Hotel for two nights (same chain hotel). Here we go~~ For me, except for the pillow, this place was better than the new One Hotel!! Exit Hakata Station's east exit and take the main road on the right. A leisurely 10-minute walk, a brisk 5-minute walk. This is it!!

The hotel service is excellent, the hygiene is impeccable, and it's quite quiet. They put a lot of thought into decorating the elevator area for visitors. The ice cream puffs are delicious. The restaurant that partners with the hotel for breakfast also serves good dinners. If you're booking this hotel, it's worth checking the price a day or two before your trip for any changes.

Friendly staff. If you didn’t book breakfast with your room you can’t add it at the hotel. Open plan toilet into room was odd, especially as the hi-tech toilet seat opens every time you move. Also, the concrete walls in the toilet area had holes and obviously modified areas - it looked rather unfinished. The area near the hotel is quite noisy, but inside this was muted suitably.

The subway entrance is super close and has an escalator, which makes it easy when you're dragging luggage. The hotel can receive packages for you (you pick them up at the front desk); I bought several Amazon Japan deliveries, including some large baby formula boxes, and they were all signed for successfully. The room size is decent; you can open two 24-inch suitcases, though the aisle will be a bit narrow, but still passable. There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, and you can get to Tenjin and Hakata by bus in addition to the subway, so transportation is very convenient. Plus, they give you two bottles of water every day, and there's a hot/cold water dispenser and a microwave, which is really nice. Oh, and Hakata Daruma Ramen is right next door, super close and delicious!

The hotel's location is absolutely perfect! It's close to the subway, right in front of Canal City, and Hakata Station is just a 10-minute walk away. The large public bath on the top floor is open until 1 AM, and there's a sauna, which completely melts away the day's fatigue. But the best part, by far, is the breakfast. The sushi, ramen, Janchi-guksu (banquet noodles), and bread are incredibly delicious! The breakfast was better than what you'd find at a 5-star hotel! If I visit Fukuoka again, I will definitely come back to the Gion branch! I was infinitely impressed by the friendly service!

The room is quite small, and it’s a bit difficult for two people to open their suitcases at the same time — we had to take turns. Other than that, everything was very good. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. I had seen reviews mentioning ikura, but it wasn’t available during my stay, which was a little disappointing. Still, I was overall very impressed.
