Miyako Hotel Hakata

The room was spacious and a great value for the price, especially considering how high hotel prices are in Fukuoka generally, and even more so during the summer holidays. The hotel is directly connected to Hakata Station underground, which is incredibly convenient.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right at Hakata Station. You can directly access JR and Shinkansen lines from B1. Popular spots like Musashi Wagyu Rice are right across the street from the 1st-floor exit, and the famous sheep cheese toast is just a 6-minute walk away. The hotel's cleanliness is also excellent, and the rooms are quite spacious for Japan. It's definitely a top choice for family trips!

The room was quite spacious and the service was good. The location is super convenient, with a direct underground passage to the subway. The bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area, which was a nice touch. While I understand that hotel prices increase during holidays, 2700 RMB per night for a 30 sqm room felt a bit pricey for a Chinese traveler.

A taxi from the airport cost less than 2000 JPY. The hotel is just across the road from Hakata Station, with plenty of dining options nearby. Plus, there's an underground passage right downstairs that leads directly to Hakata Station, so you don't need an umbrella on rainy days.
