THE GATE HOTEL FUKUOKA by HULIC

This hotel is super convenient for visiting nearby attractions and shopping. The rooms are spacious, and the service is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again. It's located in the heart of Tenjin, making getting around incredibly easy. You can walk to the bus station and major department stores, so shopping and finding food are a breeze. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and all the essential facilities are there. The front desk staff is patient and efficient, even helping us with check-in smoothly when our flight was unexpectedly canceled.

Hotel JAL City Fukuoka has an unbeatable location, right in the heart of the bustling city, surrounded by numerous shopping malls, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and getting around. The value for money exceeded my expectations; the experience was even better than hotels I've stayed at previously in the 2,000-3,000 yen price range. The front desk for check-in is on the 19th floor, and you need to transfer elevators to get to your room. On the 18th floor, there's an exclusive lounge for guests with beautiful views, offering snacks and drinks. The small pastries were delicious. There's also a mini-supermarket on B1 and a coffee and bakery on B2, which also directly connects to the Tenjin subway station, making it very convenient to get to the airport and surrounding areas.

The hotel's location is pretty good – right above a subway station and very close to the Tenjin shopping district. However, I didn't find it to be good value for money. Firstly, the renovation smell was quite strong, which was a concern for me as a pregnant woman. Secondly, the room layout was a bit odd; while the size was decent, it was laid out longitudinally. I noticed a lot of ********* and Hong Kong guests, so maybe the hotel has strong marketing in those regions?

The hotel lobby is on the 19th floor, offering a beautiful view. We booked a triple room, which felt a bit cramped as the beds were almost right next to each other. Breakfast was a pretty standard buffet.

This hotel, opened last year, is right in the heart of Tenjin, steps away from Parco and a short walk to Iwataya. It's a one-stop shop for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The lobby on the 19th floor is incredibly photogenic and offers fantastic views. The 18th-floor lounge provides complimentary soft drinks, coffee, and snacks for guests, also boasting excellent window views – perfect for enjoying drinks and the nightscape. The bathroom has a three-way split design, and the triple room features a double vanity, making it ideal for a family of three.

I was given a corner room, which was incredibly spacious. Plus, with my stay, I had access to the executive lounge which offered coffee, matcha lattes, and snacks. The best part, however, was definitely the location. There are several malls right next door, and in the same building, you'll find a Hoka store and a delicious wagyu restaurant.

The panoramic view from the balcony outside the front desk is absolutely stunning!

The location is fantastic, and they offer complimentary snacks. The hotel elevator is directly connected to Tenjin Subway Station's Exit 5. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit.
