Everything was great! The dinner was lovely, and breakfast was superb. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors, was very pleasant. It was an experience I'd definitely repeat. Thank you very much!

I was genuinely surprised by the quality; honestly, I don't understand why it's not rated as 5 stars. From the moment of arrival, the experience was flawless. The decor is elegant, modern, and meticulously detailed, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are beautiful: modern, clean, extremely comfortable, and equipped with everything needed for a perfect stay. I chose a sea-view room, which was magnificent! The amenities are another strong point, from the outdoor and indoor pools to the gym, which completely exceeded my expectations. It's very well-equipped and a pleasant place to work out. Regarding the gastronomy, everything we tried was of excellent quality. You can tell there's care, consistency, and attention to detail. But the true highlight, without a doubt, is the service. It was simply exceptional. From the reception to the restaurant and bar, the entire team demonstrated professionalism, friendliness, and genuine attention that made all the difference. I truly felt welcomed throughout my stay. A very special thank you to João, the bar manager if I'm not mistaken, whose service was impeccable, extremely professional, attentive to detail, and always available. He truly made a difference in our experience. 100 out of 100! And not to forget the rest of the team, a big thank you. It was a memorable experience. Without a doubt, a hotel to return to.

The location is truly sensational, and having parking included is a nice touch considering how expensive parking can be in Sesimbra. However, the elevator was broken during our stay, so if you use the designated parking spot, be prepared to walk up instead. Unfortunately, we stayed in apartment 102 and there were far too many issues: 1. There was no hot water at all. Even after leaving the water running for quite some time, it never became even slightly warm. 2. The balcony/window door was broken. Since the apartment is on the first floor, this also made us feel that the apartment wasn’t particularly secure. 3. It is extremely noisy. The apartment is directly above a supermarket, with deliveries and other activity happening very late in the evening and again very early in the morning. If you’re a light sleeper, this is definitely something to consider. 4. The balcony and outdoor chairs were very dirty and clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned before our arrival. 5. The main building door is very difficult to open and frequently doesn’t work properly. 6. There is a fake drawer in the room, which is a strange detail and we couldn’t understand its purpose. The other major issue is the description of the property. It advertises a private beach, but there is no private beach. We already knew this because we know Sesimbra and the surrounding area very well, but for someone visiting for the first time, this claim is extremely misleading. It’s a shame because the location itself is fantastic, but apartment 102 needs considerably more attention and maintenance, and the listing should accurately describe what guests are actually getting.

Just got back from a fantastic stay at the Aroeira Lisbon Hotel - Sea & Golf, and honestly, we had a blast! 😊 What really made our stay special was the people. The staff here are seriously amazing; genuinely friendly, warm, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and looked after. I need to give a massive thank you to everyone: Front Desk Crew: You guys were superstars, always helpful and smiling. Seriously, everyone we met was lovely. The Drivers: So helpful getting us to the beach and shops. Thank you for the restaurant recommendations and happy conversations. My son and daughter really loved you guys. Kitchen and Restaurant Team:The food was great, and the hospitality was top-notch. It felt like everyone, no matter their role, was happy to help with anything we needed. Need info? Done. Extra towels? Here you are. Special kid meal delivered in the night? No problem. Just a friendly chat? Absolutely! Plus, the amenities are awesome!We tried to take advantage of as much as we could (that pool! the grounds! the beach nearby!), and it was all super easy to access. Honestly, it was just a really smooth, fun, and welcoming experience from start to finish. Big thumbs up from the whole family, especially the kids! We'll definitely be back when we're next near Lisbon. Highly recommend!👍 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Drove 600kms from Malaga to stay here whilst doing some business in the locale, which was very quiet, like an ex-workers community... so wasn't anticipating or expecting anything 5* I'm sure they did their best but being told no soap is available, although toiletries are listed as free, and to use the pump dispensers, even when the bidet is too far to operate a pump in situ, and to have suggested to fill a cup with liquid soap first....really?? Both the bidet and bath plug leaked, the extractor fan wasn't operating and also the fridge was missing the door shelf retainers, not helpful!! I realise my off-season stay was in February, but I asked if there was room service but was told no, and yet they advertise it?? therefore it would be very welcoming if the coffea/hot drink machine was available for a reasonable time during the day and evening, not just at breakfast and evening meal If that wasn't possible, then for £70 per night I would have appreciated a small travel kettle in my room, as I was happy to supply milk, tea and coffee, but hey ho Probably wouldn't recommend this place or stay here again, staff looked bored during meal service and honestly couldn't blame them, maybe some music, ever?

Stayed at upon vila for 4 nights. First impressions were very good starting with the location which faces the Targus river and a short drive to several restaurants on the sea front. My room was quite big and had several seats and a table and 2 chairs on the balcony. A complimentary bottle of water and some cookies were also waiting in my room. Breakfast times were from 8am - 11am which is great for late risers. First impressions on breakfast was disappointing. They had a few cereals limited fruit and pastries. They only had eggs and bacon for the cooked breakfast and on another day mushrooms. Also the same items were served over the 4 days. It would have been better to vary the menu each day. Overall a pleasant stay but disappointed with breakfast choices.

The hotel has sea views, but it's not first-line, located high up in the distance. The staff were generally very friendly. The superior room is small, as is the bathroom, but adequate. The minibar is super quiet; the toilet hose's pressure was a bit out of control. The sound insulation to the hallway and outside isn't the best, but it's not too bad either. I didn't hear any noise from the other rooms. The spa and pool are tiny; they control capacity with advance reservations, and small children are only allowed in the morning. The gym has a few machines, enough to work the major muscle groups. Breakfast is varied; in my opinion, it lacks the typical Alentejo bread. On the first day, the scrambled eggs looked very dry, but by the second day, they were already good. I think it's rude for the staff to start rushing around 10 a.m., clearing tables, restricting access to only part of the buffet, and then starting cleaning and not restocking. It was a pleasant stay.

It is always so good to be back. Even on a winter day, the hotel makes you feel comfortable. Relaxing landscape in a very large room, with an excellent bed. Water and chocolates are provided as courtesy. The balcony seems to put you inside the countryside, breath in breath out, and take all the fresh air you can. You can even take a bath while you enjoy the view. Breakfast is sublime. Freshly baked eggs on demand, coffee bar with hand made beverages, pastry and fresh fruit with several local items available. All of this while you glance at the infinite pool. You can even have breakfast outside, if it is not to cold.

Impeccable hotel with fantastic rooms. The only thing is that it should have a dental kit because I forgot mine and asked at reception but it was sold out. Otherwise impeccable

Overall, the stay was good. The mattresses were uncomfortable, and even though all rooms had a sea view, in some, you could only see the sea from the balcony. I found the breakfast limited; for example, there were no pancakes or crepes. The ladies' sauna wasn't working, and the men's was tiny and also not working well. The room cleaning was fine, but we were woken up by vacuum cleaners at 9 AM, which was not pleasant. Access to the hotel is very good because it has two entrances.
