Hotel is a 5 min walk from Shin Osaka station (exit 4) which makes it convenient.  Many restaurants and eateries at Shin Osaka station. Wide selection of Japanese and Western choices at hotel buffet breakfast - sashimi (salmon and tuna), miso soup, ramen, fried prawns, sukiyaki beef, fruits (pineapples, mangoes), breads, hotdogs, bacons etc.

Extremely convenient location located right above Osaka/Umeda Station, with a sheltered walk to both JR line and Midosuji line, which is what you normally use for public transportation in Osaka. For tourists, there is a direct single stop airport limousine transfer that stops right at the hotel, while the pickup point for the same bus towards airport is just a short 5 minutes’ walk away. There is also a 24 hour family mart right at level 1 of the hotel building, not to mention the numerous department stores surrounding it. Cleanliness is great as well, and if you managed to snag a high floor room, the view is impeccable. Really enjoyed my stay and will definitely return when I am back in Osaka.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally wonderful experience. Here is a breakdown of my stay: 📍 Unbeatable Location The biggest highlight is definitely the location. It is within easy walking distance to Dotonbori and Namba, making it perfect for foodies and shoppers. Being close to several subway stations meant I could reach almost any part of Osaka, including the Umeda district and Osaka Castle, quickly and conveniently. 🛎️ Service & Amenities Check-in/out: The process is automated and very efficient. However, when the machines had a minor hiccup, the staff were immediately available to help. The team is incredibly polite and professional. Convenience: I loved the vending machines (drinks and vacuum bags!) located right in the hotel. Toiletries: There is a ”grab-and-go” station on the first floor where you can pick up extra shampoo, gels, and toothbrushes as needed. ⚠️ Areas for Improvement While I enjoyed my stay, there were some minor issues with cleanliness: I noticed some dust buildup in the common area light fixtures. In the room, there was visible dust on the ventilation grilles and tables, even after the cleaning service. Verdict Despite the minor dust issues, the convenience, location, and friendly service make this a great choice for anyone visiting Osaka.

Everything deserves a perfect score: the service, the ambiance, the price, and the location are all superb. It's only 1.6km from the Umeda shopping district, so you can walk there in about fifteen minutes. The hotel is also very quiet.

The room was quite a bit larger than ones in Tokyo, and the facilities were newer too. However, the lack of a separate shower stall is a definite drawback. The hotel isn't far from Shinsaibashi, and there's an airport bus stop nearby.

This was my second time choosing this hotel, and everything was great. The only minor downside was the limited TV channels, with no screen mirroring function and no access to services like Netflix. However, I did get access to the exclusive lounge – enjoying a premium stay there. The lounge offered a wide selection of drinks and delicious snacks to go with them.

This is a hotel I highly recommend when visiting Osaka. Even after many trips to Japan, with budgets over 2000 yen, you often end up with cramped spaces if you want a good location. This time, I stayed at this hotel for 5 consecutive days in Osaka. It's a 10-minute walk to Shinsaibashi and 15 minutes to Namba, offering a quiet retreat in a bustling area. If you want to go to Umeda, it's only about 2 km by taxi, and the subway is even more convenient. It's located right between Shinsaibashi and Umeda. The best part is that it offers more spacious rooms with separate wet and dry areas, fulfilling both the desire for openness and privacy. #HotelRecommendation #ComfortableHotel #OsakaHotelRecommendation

I had an unfortunate experience at this hotel. After one night, I developed multiple itchy bites, which could be bed bugs and raised concerns about room hygiene. That said, I really liked the room the space was great and it was very comfortable. The location and overall convenience are also hard to complain about. I would also like to compliment the staff once I requested a room change, they handled it promptly and were very helpful. I hope the hotel can address this issue to improve future guests’ experiences.

The location is fantastic, just a two to three hundred meter walk from Shinsaibashi subway station. I booked three nights last minute the day before, and it even included meals for less than 300 [currency]. I'm not sure if I stumbled upon a steal, but the value for money is absolutely incredible. The hotel seems like a former grand hotel that's been renovated. The lobby is impressive, and the room is quite spacious, more than enough for one person. You can pick up basic toiletries, tea bags, and coffee from the front desk on the first floor. There's no bottled water in the room, but several floors have water dispensers. The only minor inconvenience is that ice, water fountains, and washing machines aren't on every floor, so going up and down the elevator can be a bit of a hassle. Breakfast is a bit simple but definitely filling. Overall, a great experience.

The hotel is super close to the subway station, right at the exit. The room was generally clean, and both comfort and quietness were good. It's a bit of a walk from the JR station, about 15 minutes. Breakfast was quite expensive, so I didn't eat at the hotel; there's a Matsuya across the street which was a good alternative.

GGuest UserI stayed for two nights, which was perfect after a fun day at Universal Studios Japan – I could just come back and relax. The hotel is surrounded by a bustling shopping street with plenty of restaurants and shops. I even grabbed some Sushiro takeout to enjoy back at the hotel. The room was very spacious, and I especially loved the three-part bathroom setup which was super convenient. All the bath amenities were well-stocked too. In the evenings, I could pop down to the 24-hour Lawson downstairs to buy a couple of onigiri to store in the mini-fridge. Each floor also has a microwave, so I could just heat them up before heading out the door in the morning.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located right in front of Dotonbori Street, but it's not a noisy area. There are convenience stores like Lawson and 7-Eleven nearby. It's about a 15-minute walk (1km) from Namba Station, which is manageable when coming from the airport. The bathroom was clean. Free breakfast includes bread, drinks, and coffee. The coffee was absolutely delicious! Amenities are self-service on the first floor. You need to request new towels daily. Room cleaning is done once every three nights. The room itself is small, but having experienced even smaller rooms before, this size was acceptable.

GGuest UserRoom was assigned to the highest level (12F) which we felt peaceful , no disturbance at all even though there's alot of night activities happening below. Would recommend couples/ families without kids to stay instead as the crowd around the hotel area may not be feasible for kid. Also, there's weighing scale provided for luggage at the hotel, super good!

XXLbaoWe stayed at The Singulari Hotel & Skyspa at Universal Studios Japan during our 4th trip to Japan and our first traveling with our auADHD toddler. This was our second hotel in Osaka, and we arrived by taxi directly from our previous hotel. Taxi tip: make sure you show the taxi driver the hotel name and address in Japanese. Our driver initially dropped us at Universal Studios Japan instead of the hotel entrance and that cost us when it showed him the Google maps address. The hotel staff themselves were excellent. They deal with international guest on the daily and some speak English. Our forwarded luggage was received without issue and delivered directly to our room, which made arrival seamless. They have forms for luggage transport themselves that I used for our KIX airport hotel. Service throughout our stay was efficient and professional, and the staff clearly explained all hotel procedures. The biggest advantage of this property is its location. It is about a 10-minute walk to the entrance of Universal Studios Japan, which gives you a real edge if you plan to rope drop. The subway station is directly outside the hotel entrance, making transportation extremely convenient. Universal Citywalk is steps away, with Starbucks, Lawson, Bikkuri Donki (Great for familes by the way), shopping, and countless restaurants all within immediate reach. If you’re visiting USJ, I strongly recommend arriving at the park entrance by 7:30 a.m. We arrived around 8:30 a.m., and it made the first ride strategy noticeably more challenging. Luckily disability service helped a little as it was similar to Disney when you have to go to the Fast Pass staff to get a return time but USJ uses pen and paper. The earlier you position yourself for rope drop, the smoother your morning will be. Lines were extremely long and we were only able to see half the park. Unless you have 2 days at USJ, I recommend buying the Express pass packages as early as possible as they were all sold out the day of. Definitely a big regret as we only had 1 day there. The onsen sauna was of an average size. After long park days, it was incredibly relaxing. The baths are separated by gender, and there are no private rentable family spaces, so that’s something to keep in mind if traveling to onsen if you are not comfortable going commando with others. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom felt slightly dated but it was clean and fully functional. One thing I missed was having a small kitchenette and in-room washer/dryer. Laundry is available on the spa floor via coin machines, but in-room units would have been more better. On our second day, we made a day trip to Ghibli Park in Aichi, which took about 2.5 hours each way via Shinkansen and local transit. It’s doable but long. If your primary focus is Universal Studios Japan, this hotel is an excellent strategic base. If you plan multiple long day trips outside Osaka, you may want something more centrally located. I should have planned a day to stay at Nagoya for my Ghibli Park day. Overall, The Singulari is ideal for travelers prioritizing proximity to Universal Studios Japan, easy transit access (but not centrally located), and post-park relaxation in a quality onsen setting.

GGuest UserThis hotel is quite new with excellent facilities. The location is a bit hard to judge because I took a wrong turn coming from the airport. It's about a 10-minute walk from the hotel to Shinsaibashi for shopping. The positive review is for the male staff member who spoke Chinese. The female staff member who checked me in was very unfriendly and the process was complicated. The male staff member resolved the issue later, and his attitude was exceptionally good. Although I still don't understand what was wrong with the previous room, he eventually moved me to a family room, and I was able to check in smoothly. Some luggage can be left at the front desk, while others are required to be stored on the first floor in self-locking lockers. I'm not quite sure why there's a difference. The room facilities are excellent and very new. The breakfast is delicious, just like at other Tokyu Stay hotels. You pick up your toiletries yourself, and there's complimentary coffee.

GGuest UserThe room is small but can open two suitcases. The public bath and spa are excellent. Close to JR station and donki. But the staff and hotel policy are terrible and I could only rate it woth adverse comment. First, at checkin the staff did not tell us the spa world could be used even after checkout, so we had no idea we could still stay to play the spa world the next day until we learnt it from other residents in the hotel. If we have learnt it earlier at checkin we might adjust our travelling plan as we checkin late at night from landing. Second, upon checkout we asked for luggage storage service, which is very basic services of hotel, but the staff said if we were leaving and not staying for the spa, they would not keep our luggage. I am not meaning leaving Japan but I just go out from breakfast or some shopping. I have visited Japan multiple times and stayed in many hotels or residence, and this is the first one not offering luggage storage service. Please do not call this a hotel if you refuse to offer luggage storage service. Third, the hotel prohibited any slipper and every one had to walk back to rooms in bare feet after public bath, this sounds dirty while the staff was wearing slipper. Hotel could provide slippers and require resident to wear hotel slippers only. Bad experience and poor service.

Uuuxoxo99Everything was good overall. The room has a modern theme, and the cleanliness is still very good. The room is bigger than most hotels in Japan and we could open two big suitcases comfortably. The location is excellent. It’s right next to the famous Shinsaibashi shopping street, and within walking distance to both Shinsaibashi Station and Namba Station. I would rate the location 100/10. There’s also a FamilyMart just opposite the hotel, which is very convenient. The service was good and the hotel allowed us to store our luggage even after we checked out, which was really helpful. The only thing that could be improved is the bottled water. There were only two bottles of water in the room and they were refilled daily. Because of that, we tried asking for two more bottles from the reception before heading out each day. For the first two days, the staff were happy to give them to us, but on the third day a staff member mentioned that each room could only get two bottles. It would be better if the hotel could provide more bottled water in the room or increase the limit for guests.

DDangdaiaganI stayed here twice within a week, not just because of my itinerary, but mainly because of the hotel's incredibly convenient location. In Japan, major transportation hubs are often also commercial and business centers. This hotel is right above JR Osaka Station and the Shinkansen station, and Hankyu Osaka Station isn't far either. Below the hotel, you'll find Daimaru department store, and familiar stores for Chinese visitors like Muji, Uniqlo, and Yodobashi are also nearby. The hotel occupies floors 19 and above of the Daimaru department store. There are a lot of rooms, and the hallways are deep and long. However, the room size can only be described as cramped. On my first stay, the two beds were pushed right together. The second room was slightly wider, with just a narrow gap between the beds, and the TV on the desk was at most 16 inches. In terms of room rate alone, it's not great value for money, but when you're traveling, convenience is very important, so I'd still highly recommend this hotel. Oh, and the bus stop for the direct shuttle to Osaka Kansai Airport (KIX) at Umeda is also right downstairs.

HHok Ming KarlFrom the photos provided by the hotel, I thought the room would be small, but after checking in, I found that it was big enough to open four suitcases at the same time, and the bathroom was also spacious with a large bathtub. The lobby has a nice smell, which makes people feel relaxed. The staff is also very friendly and polite. The hotel is very friendly to self-driving tours. There is already a parking lot next to it, and the price of overnight parking is very cost-effective.
