Good value for money.
Narrow room, as well as the bathroom (shower, toilet, sink). Comfortable bed as well as the duvet.
Simple and complete breakfast.
Inclusion of breakfast in the price not clear when booking, and observation not included in the final.

At Hôtel le Relais de l'Abbaye, enjoy a satisfying meal at the restaurant. Buffet breakfasts are available daily for a fee.
The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Stay in one of 11 guestrooms featuring flat-screen televisions. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms have showers and hair dryers. Conveniences include phones, as well as desks and electric kettles.
The best most accommodating staff ever, astoundingly affordable for the quality provided. Excellent cleaning services, inclusion of private bathroom and kitchenette. Only problem is wifi doesn’t really work on the first level but honestly everything else is wonderful.
Very nice, a 24-hour welcome at the entrance, contrary to what was announced, however, parking is chargeable which increases the bill, the cleanliness is top notch, I highly recommend it anyway and one of the cheapest on the outskirts of Le Havre city center the weekend
Savings compared to other hotels of 20th on average
This hotel is quite new on the edge of Ouistreham and is an ideal stopping point before joining the ferry.
The facilities were basic but perfectly adequate for our needs. You get a decent bed, air con, and small bathroom with shower and that's about it. There is no catering - you cvan have breakfast at a bench if you want - and no kettle or drinks facilities in the room. The place has an automated check-in system, which was on the blink when we visited. It is also a fair walk to get to Ouistreham's limited facilites. On the whole, we loved it.
The experience was very good. The welcome was very cordial.
The room was very clean with a clean microwave and fridge inside that worked very well. The area is not too safe because it is next to a very large industrial area, it is advantageous to have a gate that closes automatically from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Good experience.
Good location.
It should be noted that there is not enough furniture in the bedroom, especially for the person who should sleep on the overlapped bed, even no place to put the business, not practical at all!
After the shower leaving, the lady of the host had the kindness to change my room, which saved my sleep.
AAnonymous UserConvenient & cheap overnight stop with quick access back onto motorway yet quiet & calm.
Shame about the restaurant side ! Arriving week day on way south told closed cos. chef on holiday ! 🫣
On return Saturday journey north arrived to be told restaurant not open weekends 😳
Restaurants open in outskirts of Alencon a 10 min drive.
AAnonymous UserThe room, the passage between the bed and the wall, the shower, the sink, the toilet, the cup for tea in the morning, the breakfast tray, etc., are all small! This is unexpected.
However, the hotel is very clean, the reception staff is friendly and the parking lot is large.
It should be noted that although the breakfast selection is rich, I think the quality is average and there is no taste. I think I have had a better breakfast at other ibis hotels.
AAlexanderBVery close to the bus stop that would take you for free to St.Michel.
The entrance to the hotel and the whole area is behind the gates, so you would need a code from the hotel to get inside. Thankfully, I encountered a helpful local guy who called the hotel to get it - would be nice to have it upfront in my booking confirmation or somewhere else.
Hotel itself is basic, does the job for a very good price, yet there are some things that you expect to have in the hotel: no elevators, no sockets near by the bed, no complimentary water, very poor to none WiFi - whole experience reminded me of a summer camp.

GGuest UserWalking distance from all attractions within city center. We visited several spots in town and returned to the hotel for a short break. The hotel has no lift! We had to carry our luggages to 3rd floor. Room is compact as expected however the bed is comfortable. Shower and toilet are small. Front staff was helpful as he tried to explain us about the hotel and surrounding in English. He was also kind enough to keep our luggages during our short trip to Mont St Michel.
AAnonymous UserEasy check in and staff friendly. Room a little dated and lacked facilities (hair dryer/kettle) but perhaps you could have borrowed from the front desk. Location would be great for the train station. A 20 minute walk into the centre of town. Overall, it met my expectation given the word budget in the name!
GGuest UserThis hotel was brilliant in every way - and good value for money too. Don't be put off by the eccentric exterior, because once inside you're greeted by friendly front office staff and in no time are in your well-appointed moderately-sized room. Plenty of off-street parking as well.
The hotel has a well-stocked bar at reasonable prices and an excellent restaurant serving some of the best pizzas and hamburgers in Normandy.
Highly recommended.
JJGSThe Location is close to train station (5 min. walk) and is actually perfect to explore Deauville/Trouville. Visit the hippodrome in August for the horse race and enjoy a good beer just next to the hotel in Le Joinville. Staff could be a bit more friendly, rooms are poorly soundproofed. The “private” toilet was outside of the room, something I will pay more attention to next time.
