Arrived the place early and they allowed me to check in early even though the check in timing was supposed to be at 2pm.
Location was very accessible, few minutes walk to CIQ, cafes and malls nearby
Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

It has been my third or fourth stay there. I love that the location is just a 5mins walk from CIQ. There are malls nearby where we can easily find food, necessities or even shopping. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, the toilets at the lobby is clean and near the restaurant where we have our breakfast, the breakfast range id also great! There are many different varieties with delicious teh tarik. The rooms happen to have some sensor lighting so just gotta be prepared. And if you plan to leave your bags in the hotel after check out, be aware that at times, your bags might be left unattended so do not leave any important items or valuables there.

Good day to you, I would like to feedback on the service done by check in counter done on 24 Nov 2025. I had stayed in Amari Johor Bahru Hotel on 23 Nov with my family for my kids birthday celebration.
Complaint:
Everything was good except for one issue. On 24 Nov morning, I had left my room card key inside room 1811 so I decided to go down check in counter to request for spare card key to access my room. One of your staff passed me a spare room card key at counter in counter. I collected and went up to scan the spare room key but unable to access with multiple attempts. In the end, I had to decide make the trouble again to go back check in counter to redo the spare card. Luckily, housekeeping attendant, Shahin was around. He saw the incident and assisted me with his help.
Compliment:
• Shahin (Housekeeping attendant) was attentive on my case and meticulous in his housekeeping especially keeping rooms are clean and tidy.
• Kamal (Security guard) was very friendly and attentive. He welcomed us with a great smile and helped us to press lift for access.
Please look into this feedback issues and try to rectify to prevent this problem from arising again. On the other hand, please send my compliments to the two staffs, Shahin and Kamal for their wonderful job done. Thanks and regards

Two night stay of wonderful services at Amari Johor. Enjoyed the atmosphere at Jalan Trus night time with food places around. Special mention for Kamal that assisted during our check out which was quick and efficient. Thank you.

Our room enables us to access the executive lounge and we loved it ! It’s quiet and we are able to enjoy the snacks and beverages provided . I loved their breakfast buffet as well . Malay and chinese cuisine are nicely done . It’s our first time staying in Amari and we will definitely be back again !

Booked via Trip.com. Requested QUIET room but was given a room NEXT to lift wall, which is very NOISY.
Room says swimming pool view but I don’t see swimming pool from my room.

One of the best but weird is that occupants need to pay 10 rm for the parking fees and also there is no late check out at 2 instead of 1. I check-in late in the night at 10pm previously but still can’t be granted a late check out. Overall good experience. Recommended

We had a pleasant one-night stay at Amari Johor Bahru Hotel. The service was friendly and helpful, and the staff made us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable room and a nice swimming pool. The location is convenient, close to shopping and food places. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet — good variety and tasty options. Overall, a great short stay and would love to come back again!
