The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable once you step into the room. The hotel staff are friendly and courteous, plus very service oriented. The only down side is their logistic partner which takes the longest time to deliver luggages in Japan which are unheard off. They ought to review this policy otherwise it will be a great set back to all the wonderful things they have done.
This was once a luxurious hotel, but Yeltsin's time spared no one. He stayed here and even planted a tree. The spacious, well-maintained grounds offer beautiful views, three different restaurants for dinner with exquisite cuisine, sake tasting, sand bathing right on the hotel premises, a huge onsen, and the hotel's layout allows for privacy from other guests. However, the vacation was somewhat spoiled by the fact that the outdoor pool was closed and even bloomed in the first week of September, there's no private beach, and the beds and pillows in the European-style rooms are simply awful. Choose a traditional-style room with a sea view, and your stay will be unforgettable.
Extremely good onsen resort. Excellent location with magnificent view.
Room is clean and spacious with private onsen tub.
Dinner and breakfast are also of great value. Free ramen for supper.
Public onsen is great.
Staff are all very welcoming and friendly.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
The service is very good, the staff can speak both Chinese and English, the room is also very good, unexpectedly large, the food is also good, with spring ingredients, the hot spring is also very good, and the scenery is also very good when you walk around.
Environment: The hotel boasts an excellent environment, particularly with the in-room rotenburo (open-air bath). The private dining room adds to the exclusive feel. Its location within a quiet community ensures a peaceful and relaxing stay.
Staff: A significant advantage for international travelers is the availability of English-speaking staff. Their willingness to communicate through messaging apps makes pre-arrival arrangements and on-site communication smooth and efficient.
Transportation: Direct airport bus service to a nearby bus stop offers convenient access to the hotel. However, it's important to check the bus schedule in advance, as departures are infrequent. Planning accordingly will ensure a hassle-free transfer.
Location: The hotel's location provides the convenience of being close to a convenience store, just a short five-minute walk away. This makes it easy to pick up any necessities or snacks.
Pricing: The pricing is reasonable, especially when considering the exceptional amenities included. The private rotenburo is a luxurious highlight, and the inclusion of both a fabulous breakfast and an elaborate, multi-course dinner (12+ courses) represents excellent value.
