This hotel is really great! We added 2700 yen per person for breakfast. I was surprised at how well-maintained this hotel is, considering it's over 50 years old. It has a real sense of quality, especially the cabinets and such. As an InterContinental Hotels Group member, I showed my card and received two extra bottles of water.

An experience that exceeded my expectations! This applies to both the room and the restaurant. The mini-bar in the room was completely free, and the breakfast spread was incredibly diverse. There were also many special activities during the New Year period, which was a lot of fun.

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, quiet, and clean. However, as others have mentioned, the bathroom is a bit dated. The bathtub creaks when you step into it, and there's a noticeable layer of dust on the ventilation fan when showering. Cleanliness: It's clean and hygienic. If you put the magnetic 'please clean' sign on the door in the morning, they'll clean it. If you forget, they'll still hang fresh towels and toothbrushes on the door. Location: The garden view room faces Odori Park, with a large window offering beautiful views. It's very quiet at night, and the convenience store downstairs is great for snacks, late-night meals, and breakfast. However, it is quite a walk from the subway station; the closest exit is Odori Station Exit 1, about 200-300 meters away. Service: The service was satisfying, and all the staff were very polite. Upon check-in, I was pleasantly surprised to find 8 bottles of natural water on the table, contrary to some reviews that mentioned no bottled water. This made the experience even better. Exclusive Guest Lounge: From 3 PM to 9 PM daily, you can use your room card to access the lounge on the first floor for a self-service afternoon tea. They offer classic items like Jaga Pokkuru (Potato Fri Brothers), Rokkatei, Royce, as well as hot beverages like coffee and cold drinks like oolong tea and orange juice. Highly recommended!

The room was quite clean, and while the facilities were a bit old, I was prepared for that. Room service was very prompt, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and kind, granting us a late checkout until 12 PM. The complimentary water they sent was a generous touch. However, the humidifier was really ineffective; it didn't increase the humidity and only blew out hot air. I hope they can replace it. I can't comment on breakfast as it wasn't included. The hotel is very close to the JR station and conveniently located next to two department stores, making dining easy. Since the hotel is quite old, it's a good option for a transit stay. When we left, a young lady at the entrance helped us call a taxi, and her attitude was excellent. If they could renovate the hardware, this hotel would be perfect.

A truly pleasant stay! The hotel is conveniently located, just a ten-minute walk from Sapporo Station, and the surrounding area is quiet. Although the room wasn't spacious, it was well-designed, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, were very friendly and welcoming, and proactively offered advice on city transportation. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, with a good mix of Japanese and Western dishes, and I especially recommend the freshly prepared hot food. The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained. It's a highly cost-effective choice for both business trips and city sightseeing. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Sapporo.

It was a wonderful experience. I was so excited before arriving and still savoring it after returning. I booked a stay with two meals and enjoyed the hot springs three times a day. The ancient Showa atmosphere, mingled with the sea breeze from the Tsugaru Strait, was a highlight of my trip to Hakodate.

The twin room was quite spacious, with two 1.2-meter-wide single beds and enough space in between to get out of bed easily. On the other side, I could open my 30-inch suitcase. The price of around 1,000 RMB during the winter holiday, including breakfast, was acceptable. I think Ctrip had a package without breakfast for 600-700 RMB per night. However, those packages need to be booked in advance, which isn't suitable for a traveler like me who needs flexibility. One thing to note is that the duvet didn't have a cover, it was just a sheet over the duvet. It felt unhygienic (because the exposed part was the duvet itself, which isn't changed) and wasn't very comfortable. I was quite bothered by it, but since I was traveling with a child, it wasn't convenient to switch hotels. The heating was very strong, almost too hot for the duvet. The breakfast on the first floor was plentiful, mainly Asian-style.

This Sapporo hotel really exceeded my expectations for Japanese hotels! I was very satisfied with the decor, service, room size, and dining. When I booked a long time ago, I couldn't get the room type I wanted for five days straight, so I had to split my reservations across different periods and room types. However, upon arrival, the hotel graciously upgraded me for free to a deluxe standard room, matching my original request! There was a small oversight where my room cleaning was missed, but the hotel's sincere handwritten apology card and complimentary sweets showed their genuine care for guests and their proactive approach to resolving issues. If I visit Sapporo again, I will definitely choose this warm and welcoming hotel. I also appreciate Trip.com's prompt handling of the price difference refund, as my early booking price was significantly different from the price just before my trip.

This is an older, established onsen hotel. The public bath was very comfortable and not crowded, with toiletries from Pola and another brand provided. The room was spacious, and the private onsen in the room was also very relaxing. In the lounge area, you can enjoy bread, coffee, and juice, and alcoholic beverages are available in the evenings. The hotel offers a free bus service from Odori Station; we booked the 11:30 AM bus to the hotel and the 1:00 PM bus back to Sapporo, which worked out well for our timing. The hotel's food was just average.
