The room's location was decent, but since it's not on the main island, we had to pay €15 per person daily for the hotel shuttle boat. Also, the hotel provides NO complimentary drinking water! NO complimentary drinking water! NO complimentary drinking water! A small bottle of water costs €6, and there's nowhere nearby to buy any. If you don't want to fall into this trap, choose this hotel carefully!
On our first night, I messaged the hotel asking how to get there by boat but received no reply. We ended up taking a public ferry and then lugging our luggage across a bridge. For guests who aren't strong, it's best to confirm arrival methods in advance!
The most outrageous part was being overcharged €48 upon checkout. They charged me for another room's bill (my room number ended in 0, theirs in 6). The signatures were completely different, but they didn't even check. It took ages, and they had an attitude like they were doing me a favor by finally letting me leave. Absolutely ridiculous!
This is not your typical 5 star hotel. An old villa converted into a hotel quite a long time ago. This is not to say that it is luxurious, but it is very authentic. The villa itself and the restaurant are very beautiful - wonderful interiors, antique furniture, a restaurant with panoramic windows and excellent service. This is all great. However, the room itself was renovated quite a long time ago, it cannot be said that it is cozy, and not at all like in the picture. I had a garden suite. Two rustic rooms on the ground floor. The gardener started working at 7 am, so it was impossible to sleep. The room was quite cold; it took a day for it to warm up enough. The ventilation and heating systems are no longer modern. The location is remote. Nearby there is a small village where there is a pizzeria and a couple of cafes. There is nothing to do here without a car, but if you have one, it is quite convenient to move around the entire region.
Clean. It is a domestic economy hotel environment, but the cost is equivalent to a domestic five-star hotel. Of course, this is understandable and normal. The location is good and convenient.

We stayed in the hotel for my anniversary. The location and the room were just perfect. You feel like living in a refurbished in a modern way, but historic museum. I would say the pricing was above the level for the hotel, but as I understand that was an overall problem for Venice these days due to biennale. The breakfast was nice and well served. We especially liked sitting in the little inner garden and drinking tea. A little escape in the crowded ancient city.

This is a very high-end hotel in Venice, with modern rooms (though a few inconveniences, such as not being able to hand-wash underwear). The service is excellent, but the price is high.
According to the Ctrip room description, I booked an executive suite (2 adults, 2 children) for two nights. It had a king bed and two single beds, and I double-checked that there was no sofa bed or extra bed. The cost was around 16,000 for two nights. Upon check-in, the lobby was incredibly welcoming, offering a welcome drink. However, they explained that since I had only entered two adults in my booking, they assumed I was booking one child. Since there were two children, they would charge for an extra bed. I immediately thought this logic was flawed. If they had already prepared two beds, why did they assume there was only one child? If they knew there were four people, why would they charge for an extra bed? The front desk staff said it might have been a misunderstanding.
I immediately checked with Ctrip, and they said there was no charge. However, upon entering the room, as shown in the picture, it was a repurposed sofa in the living room with a mattress and a spring bed, completely inconsistent with the Ctrip booking description and my repeated confirmation. Ctrip helped to mediate, saying that this was the only option, and that as long as the child could sleep, they wouldn't make a fuss.
Upon check-out, in addition to the city entrance fee, they printed out a receipt stating employee benefits, nearly 100 euros, supposedly a service charge. Since I had a ferry to catch, I paid it, but then took the receipt to Ctrip, as it was an additional expense. After confirming it was a tip, the hotel explained that we had no objection. This is interesting; if it were a tip, the guest should have specified the amount (I'd probably accept 300 euros, right?), rather than simply printing out a figure for payment. Ctrip then arranged to refund the amount in a few days.
These small details highlight the hotel's treatment of tourists, or perhaps Ctrip's tactics against Chinese tourists. Everyone should be aware of this. The hotel is still good; after all, at 8,000 euros a night, it's certainly worth it.
Overall, the hotel was superb. The staff were professional and incredibly attentive. The location is ideal, offering a peaceful retreat despite being centrally located. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and a water taxi stop is conveniently located right outside the hotel. I'll definitely be back here on my next visit to Venice!

We are a family outing, so we have always set a family room, and it is convenient for a family to be together. Good location, by the canal, but you can't see the canal scenery.
One thing to pay attention to, although this is a family suite, but not a real suite, two rooms are connected, that is, it is equivalent to two high-end standard rooms connected together. But the hotel did not inform in advance. This is very bad.
Everything else is OK.
A great hotel with relaxed rest. Large spacious rooms. They are already a little bit out of the way, but still in good condition. Comfortable bed. Beautiful breakfasts and excellent spa zone. Responsible staff. We enjoyed very much accommodation. The only minus is that there is no place to go for a walk. But if the hotel's holiday goal is not necessary )

MMiss Arielly RibeiroThe hotel is beautiful and well-decorated, with an elegant blend of classic and modern styles. However, its location is a bit far from the main attractions. The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the staff, who were extremely polite and attentive.
Unfortunately, the Valentine’s Day dinner was a major disappointment. Despite having great potential to be a special night, it lacked planning and romance. There was no themed decoration, and the music selection was completely off, with Latin music playing instead of a romantic Italian soundtrack. The only saving grace of the evening was the menu—the food was simply delicious, and I am immensely grateful to the chef for that. Without his exceptional cuisine, the night would have been completely ruined.
Another frustrating detail was the absence of live music, despite the presence of a piano in the hotel. Throughout the entire weekend, there was no performance, which was a shame, as small details like this could have made a big difference in the atmosphere. Overall, the hotel has its qualities, but the service feels more like a 4-star standard rather than a true 5-star experience.
JJean Zimmermann qimengranThe location is the best! The room is old, but the stay is very comfortable. I drove here and asked the hotel to arrange parking service, pick up and drop off from the parking lot to the hotel. The trip was good, but the price was expensive. When I left, the hotel did not explain clearly that the parking fee was not included in the 220 euro price! The ”taxi boat” was also borne by the guests. I was a little disappointed when I left. I paid a high price, but I felt that the hotel took advantage of it... Of course, everything in Venice is expensive, but I think the hotel can provide better service! Overall, there is room for improvement! Next time I go to Venice, I will change to another hotel!
DDavid_GreWe spent 2 nights in this hotel. When you arrive you are getting such a warmly welcome. The room was really nice - especially that Venice oriental style. Just the bath, as some already mentioned, does not fit to the room. It is clean and is equipped with everything what you need/expect. Just different from the style. And one more little highlight are the big air con devices in front of the window which a super loud. The rest was really perfect. Breakfast buffet included everything what you need. Just only the powder coffee you can get for the price - rest you need to order separately which is different to other 5 stars Hotel where I have been before. At least one „good“ coffee should be included in the high price.
Overall really a nice stay with a SUPER friendly helpful staff. And the location is really perfect as you are close to the top sightseeing locations.
YYiyiyi999Room facilities and sanitation are OK; the staff service attitude, courtesy and thoughtful are very good, and they also take the initiative to give drinks; the new hotel is indeed more fashionable and novel, with a sense of technology and modernity, so that I use voice, so as not to type the result is comfortable and pleasant; The air conditioning in the hotel lobby is very sufficient and powerful, so that Italy 🇮🇹 summer travel is cool and comfortable; breakfast is OK; the location is very good, very close to the shopping mall business district, many main attractions can be reached on foot, and the safety factor is high; A pleasant stay experience, it is worthy of a new five-star hotel with high evaluation. For your reference only.

GGuest UserThe Venice Venice Hotel was the biggest surprise of the accommodation experience during this trip to Italy. Housed in a 13th-century Byzantine-style building, the hotel space overlooks the canal and the Rialto Bridge in an artistic and avant-garde manner. Each of the hotel's more than 20 rooms is inspired by a different artist or movement, and the foyer by the canal pays tribute to Carlo Scarpa. The founder hopes that the Venice Venice Hotel will be as far away from the typical ”art hotel” as possible.
GGuest UserThe Grand Savoia was fantastic, hospitable and accommodating. When we arrived, due to a backend error, they had not received our reservation and were fully booked with no rooms available. Despite the error not being made on behalf of the hotel they took very good care of us. They put us in an upgraded room at their sister hotel just across the street and made all amenities of the 5 star grand hotel available to us. 10/10. They’ve done a great job.
GGuest UserThe hotel and room are very good. Free shuttle was provided between hotel and San Marco at the time of my visit. The staff is very helpful and handle my request promptly. I also enjoy the time in blue bar which has excellent service and food. Highly recommended.
