Guest UserOn my holiday, I brought my child to Xi'an and chose the Sofitel Legend inside the city walls. I booked a package on Ctrip, and the price was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, convenient for getting anywhere, and there are tons of options for food delivery. The entire hotel offers a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle; as soon as you step through the main entrance, you're shielded from the city's vibrancy. The soundproofing in the rooms is also fantastic, ensuring a great night's sleep every night.
The staff in all areas of the hotel are incredibly warm and professional. They always greet you enthusiastically and proactively offer various services; we felt very well taken care of during our stay.
The hotel itself is compact and exquisite, with all the facilities and services you could need. There's a pool and a gym; the pool was often empty, so we had it all to ourselves! The minibar in the room comes with chocolates and a variety of drinks, plus a coffee machine. Every evening, there's a turndown service that includes cookies or small snacks and milk. The bedding is also very comfortable. The breakfast spread is extensive, with plenty to eat each day. The à la carte menu offers a wide selection of local delicacies and both Chinese and Western dishes, and it's available until 10:30 AM, which is perfect for late risers!
What's more, the hotel is simply beautiful; every picture you take turns out great. Friends who love getting good photos should definitely consider staying here, as both the rooms and public areas are very photogenic. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Xi'an. Oh, and the toiletries are also very comprehensive; you only need to bring your own skincare products. The sewing kit was a pleasant surprise – even the thread was already pre-threaded!

Guest UserThis hotel was the most pleasant surprise of our trip to Xi'an! We stayed in two other good hotels before this, but Ling Hotel was definitely the most delightful.
The hotel is located north of the old city and is a bit hidden, but taking the direct elevator to the 16th-floor lobby for check-in was an absolute revelation. The public areas are wonderfully designed, with great attention to detail and a high-quality feel!
The room details were also excellent. The sofa was very comfortable, and the TV was large, though the lighting was a bit dim. The LE LABO toiletries and Dyson hairdryer were definite bonuses.
But the biggest surprise was the hotel's rooftop observation deck and swimming pool. The observation deck offers a complete view of the Drum Tower and the central axis, and the pool view is also perfect, especially at night when it's lit up!
The most, most, MOST delightful thing was the small gift we received at check-out. They specially carved a small seal for my child! Even though we only stayed for one day, they managed to craft such an exquisite seal. This gift was truly thoughtful. Thank you to all the hotel staff! Thank you for your considerate service!
My only minor suggestion is that the breakfast and late-night snack options could be improved.

Anonymous UserThe hotel is right inside the Huaqing Palace scenic area, so the location is fantastic. We booked a room with a private hot spring tub (though the hot spring water only runs from 7 PM and wasn't hot enough). The hotel butler service was excellent, and the housekeeping staff were very warm and diligent. You can also inform the front desk in advance to arrange an electric shuttle for transfers within the scenic area. The restaurant's food was delicious, and the service there was also superb. Recommended.

AilvxingdeYoyoThe hotel's location is truly excellent, right in the city center next to CapitaMall. There's an abundance of dining, entertainment, and shopping options all around. It's also super convenient to get to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Everbright City. Plus, they offer free parking if you're driving.

My only requirement for a hotel is peace and quiet. That's why, even though I was visiting Xi'an, I specifically booked this place. Plus, as an IHG Platinum member, I try to stick with the brand. The reason for choosing this hotel was simple: it looked relatively quiet, and they had suites available. Logically, for just my wife and me, such a large room wasn't necessary, but I thought fewer neighbors might mean more quiet.
The first night, however, had a bit of a hitch. I'm not sure if it was the air conditioning unit upstairs or some other machinery, but every twenty minutes or so, there would be a very loud bang, which meant I barely slept all night. Honestly, for such a nice room, this issue was quite unexpected. At 5 AM, I couldn't take it anymore and had to call the front desk. They handled it promptly, quickly moving me to the seventh floor; my original room was on the eighteenth floor.
The seventh-floor suite was also much quieter. Although the curtains were a bit old, with several small holes, making them less effective at blocking out light than those on the eighteenth floor, and the partition between the living room and bedroom was transparent (which compromises sound insulation and light blocking), the overall living experience was actually more comfortable. The rooms downstairs have gaming consoles and kitchens, while the rooms upstairs feel more like private meeting spaces – each with its own distinct features. At least after moving to the seventh floor, I didn't hear that inexplicable loud noise anymore. Of course, being closer to the gym, I occasionally heard some equipment training sounds, but it was a vast improvement compared to the first night, and my sleep quality significantly improved on the second day.
Just a small suggestion for the hotel: the coffee machine in the room and the provided capsules didn't seem to be compatible, so I didn't end up using it. But this is a minor issue and didn't affect the overall experience.
This stay also made me ponder whether I should continue to spend more on suites just for the sake of quiet in the future. Theoretically, suites should have fewer neighbors, but in reality, suite floors might also attract more families traveling together, so it's not necessarily quieter. Overall, however, I was quite satisfied with this stay. Especially the hotel staff's service attitude was excellent, and their response time when issues arose was very quick.
If I visit Xi'an again, I'd very likely choose to stay here. For friends traveling, this hotel is indeed a bit further from the main attractions, but for me, getting a good rest is more important than saving an extra ten or twenty minutes of travel time.

budongimaydayThe Novotel is in a fantastic location, right above Metro Lines 2 and 6, offering direct access to all major attractions. It's also just three stops from the train station. Downstairs, there's a travel agency where you can catch direct buses to the Terracotta Army and hop-on-hop-off city tour buses. As for the hotel's front desk staff, check-in was smooth and efficient. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety, including freshly made 'sauteed' noodles and beef noodles daily, plus a mix of Chinese and Western options. This explains why we saw quite a few foreigners staying here. Next time I'm in Xi'an, I'll definitely choose the Bell Tower Novotel again. 100% recommended!

ShijielvyoudashiThis hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right next to Exit B of Longshouyuan Metro Station. The hotel is clean, tidy, and the service is excellent. There were three of us traveling, including an elderly person. On days when the elder didn't join us, especially when the weather was too hot, I asked the restaurant to deliver lunch to our room. The food was delicious. There's a steakhouse on the second floor of the hotel, open until 9:30 PM. I bought a 398 CNY set meal for four there, which had generous portions and tasted great. The bread was especially well-baked, and you could refill the soup as much as you wanted. The thick steak was tender and flavorful, and the tuna pizza was quite unique. Our family room booking also included a ticket for the Chang'an Dream Tour Bus. Be aware that only one ticket is given per booking, so if two people go, you'll need to buy an additional ticket yourself. The bus pick-up and ticket exchange point is near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, about a 30-minute subway ride away. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Guest UserStaying at Tanghua Hualuxe was a delightful surprise! The Tang-style gardens are lush and green, and the courtyards are tranquil and cool, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city. The room was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Our butler, Sakura, was incredibly kind and attentive. Plus, it’s within walking distance of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City. If you're visiting Xi'an in the summer, I highly recommend staying here to enjoy the garden night views. It made our trip incredibly pleasant and comfortable!

Arrived in Xi'an, and a light rain brought a welcome calm to the sweltering heat.
The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, especially the ones at the entrance. When a car arrived, they'd help guests load large luggage into the trunk and even open the car door. Everything was handled with such thoughtful detail.
As for the hotel's environment, it's simply beyond words. The serene garden right before your eyes offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city. Its central location makes getting anywhere a breeze... And after a soak in the tub with those wonderfully fragrant toiletries, you're sure to drift off into a peaceful sleep.

jinageVery satisfied!
Facilities: All the fixtures are brand new. The shower pressure is great and very comfortable. There's no old or worn-out feeling as some negative reviews mentioned, only understated luxury.
Cleanliness: It's cleaned very well every day, and they even noticed we had a child and thoughtfully left two extra bottles of water, which was very attentive and considerate.
Ambiance: The antique-style decor is in keeping with the age of the hotel, and both the kids and elders really enjoyed this style. Since we're in a thousand-year-old capital, of course, we want to stay in a hotel with historical charm! There's a bronze carriage in the lobby and Tang Sancai pottery in the room, giving a feeling of traveling back 5000 years. My child even said our hotel is like a museum!
Service: From check-in to check-out, every staff member we encountered was smiling and had an excellent attitude.
