This hotel is perfectly situated right by the Yongning Gate city wall, with Yongning International just next door. We stayed in a family room with a city wall view, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct, stunning views of Yongning Gate and the city wall – both during the day and especially at night. The hotel's fifth-floor lobby and restaurant are incredibly picturesque, and the observation deck provides fantastic night views of Yongning Gate and the city wall. It's also super close to attractions like the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter, as well as shopping centers like Wangfujing, SKP, and Heshunhui. The hotel service was great too! A special shout-out to their zero-pressure sleep pillows – they were incredibly comfortable; I haven't slept on such a perfect pillow in ages! My only minor suggestion would be for more frequent cleaning of the public restrooms in the lobby. Both times I used the men's room during our two-day stay, there was a strong odor, which really detracted from the overall experience. Otherwise, everything else was excellent!

The W Hotel in Xi'an is quite unique. The room facilities, cleanliness, and overall environment are excellent. Both the pool and the gym are fantastic, my child and I loved them. The hotel is conveniently located close to the Tang Paradise and Grand Tang Everbright City, and right downstairs is the Qujiangchi Relics Park, perfect for a leisurely stroll. It was a very satisfying trip, and the W truly lives up to its consistent excellence!

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, less than a 10-minute walk from the Bell Tower and right next to Exit D1 of Guangjijie Station on Metro Line 6. Since it's a relatively new hotel, the room facilities are quite modern. The staff are very polite, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of options. From our triple room, we even had a view of the Bell and Drum Towers. Upon checkout, we were given a complimentary souvenir. I do have a few small suggestions: it would be great to have a mini trash can on the vanity for makeup waste, saving a trip to the toilet. Besides the standard bar soap, perhaps a bottle of liquid hand soap could be provided to cater to different guest preferences. The lighting in the bathroom is generally a bit dim; for guests who enjoy doing their makeup, the light from the magnifying mirror alone is insufficient. If I have the chance to visit Xi'an again, I would definitely consider staying here.

Weekend train trek to BaoJi from Xi’an. It’s a very walkable city, and there are bikes all around. Crowne Plaza has a nice longe on the 40th Floor. It is next to a mall, and adjacent to the theater. The park nearby stretches to the historically designed walking bridge into Chencang Old Street (I suggest folk music bar next to Panda Aquarium/BaoJi Station display).
Crowne has nice views and comfortable rooms. Staff is bilingual and everything is clean. Of the Crowne Plazas I have stayed in, this one is maintained well.

Absolutely delighted and very satisfied! I'll definitely choose Haimen JW again next time I'm in Xi'an. It was better than I ever imagined! The room was beautiful and comfortable, and all the staff were super nice and attentive. A big shout out to Monica and Lily for being especially thoughtful! They proactively asked about our needs and tried their best to accommodate them. The welcome fruit was lovely, and they gave us a high-floor room with a great view. The room was well-decorated, and since it was our anniversary, they even brought us a delicious small cake! The housekeeping staff were also wonderful. The lobby staff and the doormen at the hotel entrance were all great! Everyone greeted us with a smile~ The hotel breakfast was delicious, and the Sauteed Noodles were amazing! The location is very convenient, and there's a fantastic teppanyaki place downstairs! Good! The biggest surprise of this trip was choosing such a wonderful hotel.

This was my second stay, and the hotel's location is truly unbeatable. It's directly across the street from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and right at the northern entrance of the Grand Tang Everbright City. You can easily walk to key attractions like the South Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Grand Tang Everbright City, and Qin Han Tang Square, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. Plus, there's Joy City just across the road for all your shopping and dining needs – so handy! The hotel's exterior design is simple yet grand, giving off a very upscale vibe. The hotel is clean and tidy, and I have to praise the bedding in the rooms; it's incredibly comfortable! Make sure to visit the Qujiang Art Museum downstairs; the jade carvings are exquisite masterpieces, and the ceramics exhibition near the exit is also stunning. There's even a Picasso exhibition happening now, and it's free for hotel guests to visit. I especially want to mention how warm and welcoming all the staff are. Upon check-in, I was upgraded to an executive room for free, and on the morning of my departure, they proactively arranged a late check-out and gave me a lovely gift. Their thoughtfulness was truly exceptional, and a special thank you to Candy Jonay and the front desk staff for making me feel so at home. In short, if you want to fully experience the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Grand Tang Everbright City area, I highly recommend the Westin Hotel. Five stars all the way!

The location alone makes this place worth booking -- walkable to nearly everything, which is rare and genuinely valuable
The room had a few surprises compared to the listing photos, including carpet rather than the hard floors shown, and a smaller window than expected. For guests with sensitivities, worth noting ahead of time. The room ran a little dark, but the quiet of a high floor at the end of the hall more than made up for it.
Bathroom is functional with standard toiletries. Would love to see better ventilation and a bidet added in a future update -- we are in Asia after all.
Wi-Fi was inconsistent during my stay, which was the one real frustration.
The wins were real though: guest-controlled AC (a genuine rarity in China), a comfortable bed, impressively soft towels, linen slippers, a proper tea set, and an air purifier. As an English-speaking guest I appreciated the card with key hotel information in English and the one English news channel -- small gestures that meant a lot after weeks without hearing the language.
The Blue Mountain instant coffee was a welcome touch. Housekeeping leaves a daily note with who cleaned and the next day's weather -- small detail, big impression. My housekeeper was especially warm during a stretch when I wasn't feeling well.
The front desk and reception staff were consistently kind throughout my stay. Solid stay with a location that's hard to beat.

Our group had a wonderful six-night stay at the Huaqing Imperial Hot Spring Hotel, and we were thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. Before checking in, we inquired about various hotel services, and the reservation staff were incredibly patient and helpful. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered, no matter their role, was exceptionally warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. As hotel guests, we enjoyed complimentary access to the Huaqing Palace scenic area and the hot springs. We booked a room with a private hot tub, which was disinfected daily by staff and refilled with fresh water every evening – it was so relaxing to soak in after a day of sightseeing! The hotel also helped us purchase tickets for the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance, and our seats were excellent. A dedicated staff member guided us to our seats before the show and picked us up afterward. The outdoor hot spring experience was also fantastic; perhaps because it wasn't peak season, it wasn't crowded. Like the private tubs, there were complimentary drinks and fruits. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. If you're visiting Huaqing Palace and the Terracotta Army, I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

The hotel is grand and the room is big. However, the aircon in our room was spoilt and the temperature of the room was unpleasant. Luckily, the weather was cooling and we had to open up the balcony door to cool the room for the night. Aircon technician spent an hour fixing the aircon but it was worse. The aircon started leaking water at the luggage storage throughout the night, with the sound of the leaking water affecting our sleep. But our traveling company had no issues with their rooms.

I brought my little one to Xi'an for a trip. We visited the Terracotta Army, Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell and Drum Towers, Xi'an City Wall, and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City, among other places. We stayed at this hotel for all five days. The hotel's location in the old city is excellent, making it convenient to get to all the attractions. There are also many Xi'an specialty snack shops nearby, so dining out was easy. As an established five-star hotel, both the facilities and service were top-notch. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, and the heated pool was lovely!

GGuest UserWhile the hotel is undeniably a bit old, it's incredibly well-maintained. The French-style decor is subtly luxurious, and the gardens are beautiful. Breakfast offers a good blend of local flavors; though not extensive, the quality of the dishes is quite decent.
I particularly want to praise the hotel's desserts – they are truly exquisite French pastries. The afternoon tea is freshly made, and you can still smell the warm buttery aroma when it's served. Both the sweet and savory items are perfectly balanced, which was truly amazing.
My low rating is for the service. The staff seemed very green, almost like interns. Upon arrival, there was no doorman to open the car door or help with luggage. During check-in, no one bothered to introduce the hotel's functional facilities until I specifically asked, as if they only remembered my entitlements then. The restaurant staff couldn't even distinguish table numbers when serving (which was the most laughable part). After a guest stated a request, a staff member actually just turned around and walked away. Lobby staff were loudly chatting among themselves during working hours; the guests in the lobby were quiet, but the staff were quite noisy. At check-out, the front desk staff were completely unresponsive – they didn't take the room card or say anything, just stood far away, watching me put the card on the table myself, with their hands behind their backs throughout.
Ultimately, the hotel's location, its rich historical and cultural heritage, and its status as one of only six Accor Legendary hotels worldwide are all reasons guests choose to stay here. However, for a brand's sustainability and stable profitability, long-term meticulous operation and professional staff training are crucial.
GGuest UserEnvironment: This B&B is perfect for a staycation. It's newly opened, so the facilities are very new. The dim lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere, embodying a warm Wabi-sabi aesthetic. The rooftop bar and pool offer great views, and on a clear day, you can even see the beautiful clock tower.
Service: A major highlight of this B&B is the service – it's very attentive, thoughtful, and responses are quick. Afternoon tea, late-night snacks, and breakfast are all provided, and the taste is decent.
Hygiene: Both the common areas and rooms are very clean. I'd suggest having alcohol wipes available in the rooms or at the front desk.
Overall, it's a B&B with a fantastic environment. Everything is still improving since it opened less than a year ago. I look forward to my next stay.

GGuest UserThis hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As soon as we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly in the lobby and helped us with our luggage. The front desk lady even gave our two elderly parents two wormwood massage sticks, which they absolutely loved! The next day, they asked for another one, and she kindly gave them another. Later, one of our elderly parents caught a cold and had difficulty walking. The breakfast staff were very accommodating and allowed us to take food back to our room. The cleaning staff always greeted us warmly, truly making us feel at home. The hotel's swimming pool has excellent water quality and a perfect temperature, far surpassing many other hotel pools – it's a must-visit during your stay! The gym facilities are first-rate! When we left, the front desk gentleman was also very helpful. Our family stayed for 3 days, and the experience was top-notch, bringing our Xi'an trip to a delightful close! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Xi’an Summerset – Highly Recommended!
We had a fantastic experience during our stay at Summerset. The breakfast selection was outstanding, offering a wide range of both Western and Eastern dishes—something for everyone to enjoy!
The room itself was very spacious and thoughtfully equipped, including a full set of cookware and kitchen utilities, which made it easy for us to prepare our own meals when we wanted to. The in-room washing machine was also a huge convenience for a longer stay.
The on-site facilities are exceptional. The gym is well-equipped and includes not just standard fitness machines but also a swimming pool, sauna, table tennis, and even snooker—a great bonus for relaxation and recreation.
We were traveling with our parents, both in their 80s, and the staff could not have been more thoughtful or accommodating. They were attentive to our needs and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible.
Another thoughtful touch is the option to request an extra bed, which made our stay even more comfortable for our family.
We’ve stayed at Summerset before, and this visit only confirmed why we keep coming back. The service, amenities, and overall experience are consistently top-notch. Highly recommended for both short and long stays!
GGuest UserThe room facilities are all new, the bed's firmness is just right, and the shower water pressure is perfect. The soundproofing is also quite good, and the air conditioning temperature is comfortable. This InterContinental is probably the best InterContinental I've stayed at in terms of service within the IHG Rewards Club in recent years. From the moment I arrived, the doorman immediately helped me with my luggage from the car to the front desk. When I encountered an issue, manager Skery was very helpful and pleasant in resolving it. Knowing I have rhinitis, she thoughtfully arranged a humidifier for me, which led me to extend my stay for another night. The lobby manager greeted me warmly every time we crossed paths, and when I checked out, the doorman once again helped carry my luggage to the car. These are all small details, but they make you feel truly taken care of. I hope other InterContinental hotels can reach this level of service too.
GGuest UserThe location is excellent, just a five-minute walk to the Bell Tower, and the subway station is right nearby, making transportation convenient for getting anywhere. It's a prime choice for tourists. The hotel maintains the basic standards of the old Novotel, and Huazhu's management has made it more aligned with Chinese habits. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be that the breakfast selection is a bit limited (though sufficient for a simple meal, and I'm sure hotel food isn't the main reason people come to Xi'an). Oh, and front desk staffer Xiao He was very enthusiastic and accommodating; she deserves praise.
GGuest UserRoom Type: The furniture is a bit old, but the room is very quiet, comfortable, and spacious.
Location: It's super convenient – just a two-minute walk downstairs to Longshouyuan Station on Line 2. There's also a shopping mall and a food street right across the street.
Service: On the first night, there was a small issue with the air conditioning that was temporarily fixed, and then fully resolved the next day. You can really feel the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. Thumbs up!
Cleanliness: Very clean, and the cleaning staff were very polite.
Food: This is my second time in Xi'an, and this hotel has the best breakfast I've had. The bread is delicious, and the Chinese dishes are authentic.
Overall, the hotel is excellent. The location is convenient, and the service quality is great. Definitely worth coming back to.
Ssusu3007The hotel's location is great, just a 10-minute walk to the Grand Tang Everbright City and a 15-minute walk to the metro station. The room was quite spacious with a semi-partition, making the space very comfortable. However, the lighting in the room was too dim! It was definitely not ideal for putting on makeup. Also, you can't pay for breakfast with a card; you have to give your room number, which was a bit inconvenient and not very guest-friendly. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Both the concierge and front desk staff wore traditional Hanfu, which was beautiful and added a unique touch. The concierge staff, especially the 'Sakura' lady, was super cute and gentle! The hotel also had peacocks, though they were asleep when I visited. A quick note on breakfast: while the service was very good, there were fewer local specialties compared to another Hualuxe hotel I stayed at, which was a bit disappointing.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is super convenient, right next to the Grand Tang Everbright City (Da Tang Furong Garden). Across the street, there's a food street with all sorts of restaurants, perfect for breakfast or late-night snacks, and the night view is beautiful. All the facilities are excellent, and the rooms are new and lovely. I called the front desk in advance to say we were bringing a child, and the manager helped push the twin beds together to make a seamless 2.7-meter-wide bed, which was a huge plus when traveling with kids! They even prepared a fruit platter, a small cake, and birthday decorations when they found out it was for a birthday – truly thoughtful. The swimming pool is great, heated to a comfortable 28 degrees. Breakfast is also fantastic, with a variety of Xi'an local specialties, especially the ice cream – kids will absolutely love it! 😍 Our stay was perfect, and we'll definitely be back.
JJaddXi'an Airport Hotel is perfect for catching an early flight! Its location is unbeatable, with direct access to Terminal 3 on the third floor, just a few minutes' walk away—super convenient. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding comfortable, and the soundproofing excellent; there was barely any noise from planes taking off or landing. The front desk staff were efficient and enthusiastic, and the 24-hour service was a thoughtful touch. Although some facilities are a bit dated, they are well-maintained, with plenty of hot water and a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. It offers great value for money and is my top choice for layovers or early morning flights. You can stay here with peace of mind and convenience.
