My 2-night stay at Yangxian Village, Wangxian Valley felt like stepping into a living Chinese fantasy painting hidden between the mountains. Waking up surrounded by misty peaks and hearing the peaceful sounds of the valley made time slow down for a while. The atmosphere at night was magical with lights reflecting across the valley and the entire place feeling almost unreal. The hotel breakfast is delicious and sumptuous! A mixture of Chinese and Western styles. The village itself has many food options, performances, and activities, so there was always something to explore without feeling bored. After walking around the scenic areas, it was also nice to see bars and KTV spots available for people who wanted to relax at night. The environment balances both peaceful scenery and lively entertainment quite well. The room was comfortable and clean, and overall the stay experience was satisfying. One small area for improvement would be the TV channels, as channels after 25 were quite lagging when watching at night. It could also be interesting if the resort considered adding services like leg massages after long walks around the valley. I think many travellers would appreciate that after exploring the mountain areas. Overall, staying inside Wangxian Valley was more than just accommodation; it felt like being immersed inside the scenery itself. Definitely a memorable and unique experience.

Let's start with the downsides: 1. The room facilities are clearly aging, including the toilet, shower, and small sofa. The deluxe river-view twin room I stayed in on the 2nd/3rd night had even worse facilities than the executive king room on the first night. 2. The housekeeping department lacks basic amenities like a step stool for children (they said it's only provided for family rooms). 3. Soundproofing isn't great. If your room is a bit close to the elevator lobby, it can get quite noisy. 4. Adjusting the air conditioning temperature didn't seem to have any effect, though the overall comfort was still acceptable. Now for the highlights: 1. The river-facing rooms offer an unbeatable view. The scenery is even more beautiful than in the photos. 2. From a tourist perspective, the location is excellent. Tengwang Pavilion and Dashiyuan are very close, and Wanshou Palace is also within walking distance. 3. The breakfast quality is decent, with a wide variety of options, including many local Nanchang specialties. The view from the restaurant windows during breakfast is also fantastic. 4. Although the hotel is tall, the elevators are fast and the water pressure is good, effectively avoiding common high-rise living issues. 5. The staff at the concierge, front desk, customer service, and restaurant are all very enthusiastic and have a great attitude. Other notes: The afternoon tea provided with the executive room on the first day was quite good. However, the welcome fruit platter was only delivered on the third day and wasn't of great quality.

The hotel environment is quite nice; it's a garden hotel, and you can stroll around its internal mini-park, which is very pleasant. The lobby is spacious and bright, and the staff are professional and patient, though they could smile a little more. The rooms are also very large and comfortable to stay in, and the hygiene is good. The facilities and equipment seem relatively new, probably because the hotel hasn't been open for long. Parking is very convenient with plenty of spaces; there are no parking fee barriers, you just drive straight into the hotel's parking lot.

This 12-day Chinese New Year family trip, Shangri-La Nanchang was by far the most comfortable hotel we stayed in. The location is superb, with convenient transportation. The tram downstairs goes directly to all the major popular attractions. What truly impressed me was the service; they genuinely made us feel at home. Check-in was very thoughtful. They proactively arranged our two rooms together and patiently explained why there was a connecting room in between (due to the king-size bed layout). They also meticulously inquired about all our needs. On the day we left, our child wasn't feeling well and fell asleep, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our check-out until 2 PM without any rush or催促, which was particularly heartwarming. The room view was unbeatable, directly facing Tengwang Pavilion from the window. We could even watch the fireworks display from our room, and the staff even proactively reminded us to tune the TV to the music channel to accompany the viewing. Additionally, the robot delivery for takeout was very prompt, and the buffet dinner was affordable, delicious, and offered a wide variety of dishes. The overall experience was impeccable, highly recommended!

The hotel is located right within Taoxichuan, which is incredibly convenient. There's also a 24-hour restaurant just across the street. The hotel offers butler service, which is very attentive, and they pretty much cater to any personal needs you might have. The breakfast has a great variety and tastes good. The staff are also very friendly; they even bring your noodle soup directly to your table.

I booked in advance, but then my trip was postponed and I forgot to change the dates. I contacted the hotel, and they were very understanding, even upgrading my room. A big thank you to Xiao Xie and Fang Fang for their warm service. The room facilities were excellent, the environment was elegant, and there's a gym and a swimming pool. The dinner I ordered at the hotel was also very good.

Staying in Jiujiang for ancestor worship, my whole family was extremely satisfied. Both the food and lodging made our family of four very happy, a genuine five-star review! The room type was incredibly thoughtful, and the kids absolutely loved it. It's rare to find a room that comfortably accommodates a family of four. The bunk bed design was a huge hit with the little ones; the kids were so happy they didn't even want to go out and play. Perfect for families! The service was warm and attentive. The lady at the front desk was super enthusiastic and patiently helped the kids make sachets for 2-3 hours. She was so gentle and patient; this kind of thoughtful detail really leaves a great impression. A sincere thank you! The facility details were a big plus. The room was equipped with a smart toilet, which was convenient and hygienic to use – a rare find even in high-end hotels. Definitely 100 points! Two small suggestions for improvement: The next day, as temperatures rose, the air conditioner was still blowing hot air and hadn't switched to cooling in time, making the room a bit stuffy. The complimentary ice bucket had ice but no tongs, making it inconvenient to use. It would be great if the small tools were complete.

The hotel environment is fantastic, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Every corner is picture-perfect! The service was also excellent; staff members greeted us whenever we saw them, and there are two incredibly cute dogs. You can even play some musical instruments. The hotel's cocktails and coffee are superb! And the beef brisket noodles are absolutely delicious! I'll definitely stay here again next time. It was a wonderful touch to receive a farewell gift upon check-out!

I went to Jiujiang to participate in the 2025 marathon. It was my first time to Jiujiang. The accommodation experience was very good. I don’t know if the Jiujiang Cultural and Tourism Bureau had done its homework in advance. Anyway, the hotel had made preparations in advance. There were relevant promotional materials and items in the lobby. When checking in, I told the front desk that because I was participating in the full marathon, I would not be able to return to the hotel until after 12 noon. I hoped to be assisted in delayed check-out. After the hotel understood the situation, the front desk was very enthusiastic and considerate and said that I could delay check-out until 16 o'clock. It was great. There was no pressure to check out when running. Warm fruits and snacks were also prepared in the room, just in time for lunch after running the next day. The hotel is in a very good location, by the lake, and the lake view room booked in advance has beautiful and quiet scenery. The room and the outside of the hotel are very clean, reflecting the hotel's management and humanistic care. Jiujiang Marathon, the result achieved PB, thanks to the support of Peninsula Hotel. If I have the opportunity to go to Jiujiang again, I will probably continue to stay here.

Huling Scenic Area admission ticket plus round-trip cable car ticket: The hotel package included tickets and cable car for two adults, and we just needed to purchase a half-price ticket for the child. Staying at the hotel gave us access to a VIP channel, which was very convenient. There's a makeup and styling shop right next to the hotel that opens at 6:30 AM, which is super convenient for avoiding the crowds. We were done with our photos before 9 AM. Strolling around in the evening, away from the crowds, was very pleasant. The wooden house was a bit noisy. It rained all night, and there was a light nearby that kept making a sound. Luckily, the room provided earplugs, and once I put them on, I slept soundly.
