GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at Hotel Shikimi. The staff was delightful. They were all so nice and helpful. We also loved the food and they went over and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. The location was perfect for walking to local tourist spots. If I ever return to Takachiho, I would stay there again.

AAnonymous UserThe ambience is nice, a far drive to reach the hotel. We had the buffet dinner, authentic Japanese food and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. Hot bath is nice. The hotel room is clean, and the hotel staff is friendly and polite.

GGuest UserRoom was a slightly small for 4 people, with little space to open the luggages. Hotel provided free flow amenities which was a good feature :) However if driving a large sedan, you would not be able to park within the hotel premises and will be asked to park elsewhere, which was a little inconvenient when bringing many luggages.

II-69Everything was very clean and meticulously maintained. I stayed in a premium twin room, and the service was excellent - free drinks in the fridge, BVLGARI amenities, and even nightly chocolate by my bed. The lobby lounge also offered free drinks, and the staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay very comfortable. As you'd expect from a hotel designed by a world-famous architect, the flow of traffic was streamlined, making the standard rooms feel spacious. The only downside was that the sauce on the eggs Benedict at breakfast was a bit lacking.

ままみむIt was used from other prefectures, but the location of the hotel was along the road and it was very easy to understand. Also, the response of the front desk was very good and I felt good. There was a washing detergent for consecutive nights. I've never seen a detergent installed at the hotel. I didn't use it, but it will be a concern on the hotel side. The disadvantage was that the parking lot guide for the guests was a little difficult to understand. Also, I heard a lot of voices and sounds while other guests were walking through the corridor. I think the nervous person seems to be severe. And the key to the room is ... old 〜. Overall, the room was clean and I wanted to use it again.
