4-Star Hotels in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Shikimi. The staff was delightful. They were all so nice and helpful. We also loved the food and they went over and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. The location was perfect for walking to local tourist spots. If I ever return to Takachiho, I would stay there again.

The hotel's surroundings and location are quite good, perfect for a vacation. However, the hotel is very old, and all the facilities need updating, including the room decor which needs a complete renovation.

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the location was convenient. The staff were all very friendly. Overall, it was a great stay.

I used this hotel to go back to my father's hometown. It seems they also have a wedding hall. It's far from the station and downtown, but they offered to take a taxi when I checked in, which was helpful. I had a drink in the lounge and had a comfortable stay. There were some issues here and there, like adjusting the lamp in the room and mold in the corner of the bathroom. I think this is a good hotel, considering that Miyazaki has a lot of old hotels.

It was used from other prefectures, but the location of the hotel was along the road and it was very easy to understand. Also, the response of the front desk was very good and I felt good. There was a washing detergent for consecutive nights. I've never seen a detergent installed at the hotel. I didn't use it, but it will be a concern on the hotel side. The disadvantage was that the parking lot guide for the guests was a little difficult to understand. Also, I heard a lot of voices and sounds while other guests were walking through the corridor. I think the nervous person seems to be severe. And the key to the room is ... old 〜. Overall, the room was clean and I wanted to use it again.
