Yangxian Village, Wangxian Valley

We were 4 friends that had amazing weekend at this hotel and village. The Hotel buildings were fantasticly beutiful. The staff was helpful, ( some less, and some excellent) The breakfast had many kinds of food and was very nice, with servicemided staff. We had some amazing days, memories for life! / Swedish and Colombian guests.

Magical scenes, beautiful lights. However, expect crowds but that adds to the buzz of the place. Room was very good and service excellent including free shuttle to/from transport hub and porters to help with luggages which is very important given the terrain and hotel layout. Food options could improve byt happy with oyr experience.

Very nice and clean room! Location is within the scenic area, conveniently located near that the check in area. Would stay here again!

The renovation of the room is good, but the walking distance is very far, even to the wangxian valley, full of staircase, lack of direction signboard. super tired experience.

The room we got is very clean and full of amenities you would need. It’s just annoying from other guests near us who are always loud and make alarm sound at their door all the time. You can walk from the room downhill to the park but it’s not that easy. Still some distance walking with lots of steps and steep pathways. So be aware. Overall, we are happy with the hotel and service even they don’t speak English much but they’re willing to help you. Highly recommend to try eating at the street food as it’s very cheap if compare to normal big restaurants. It’s usually busy and lively from evening while not so busy and not all restaurants and shops are open in the morning and noon.

The hotel is very stunning! Right in the Wangxian Valley old town, the attractions are just a few minutes walking distance. The hotel design is amazing, very lovely rustic details yet the rooms are very modern. I feel like i was transported into the ancient times walking on hotel grounds. The only problem I have with the hotel is the cleanliness, rooms are not properly cleaned. My room smells so much like cigarette smoke, the curtains, the beddings, the bed, the blinds. The towels aren’t smelling good too, have this odd bad smell. The whole night as i breathe on my pillow it’s like i am beside someone smoking just beside me. As I enter the room everytime, I feel like entering a dedicated smoking area. I noted and chose “non smoking” room. I extended one more night but i feel it’s useless to go through all the trouble of changing room if the next one has the same strong cigarette smell. Staff don’t speak English too, no big deal unless you have complicated issues to resolve like my room extension.
