5-Star Hotels in Henan, China

After much deliberation, I chose this hotel in Luoyang, and it's no wonder it has such rave reviews – it truly lives up to its reputation. It's located in a bustling area, making it very convenient to visit all the attractions, with a subway station right next door and even a shuttle service to and from the station. The staff, both in housekeeping and at the front desk, are incredibly responsive to almost every request. The housekeeping staff provided delightful little surprises every day; seeing that we were taking medication and wearing glasses, they proactively offered us glasses cases and pill organizers. Every day we were here, we could order various snacks and fruits for free, and there was even a late-night snack service. When we checked out, they even gave us a bag of snacks and fruits. This level of service truly makes you feel comfortable. Next time I'm in Luoyang, I'll definitely stay here again!

The hotel's location is superb, right in the 'Big Corn' building, with Ruyi Lake just downstairs. The front desk service was excellent. The day before, they proactively asked what time we'd be arriving the next day, mentioning that rooms were tight during the National Day holiday and they could arrange early check-in. Although we arrived after 6 PM, so waiting for a room wasn't an issue for us, this gesture was very thoughtful. The concierge is on the first floor, but when we were taking our luggage up, we didn't see anyone to help. We only saw a luggage cart and a staff member who directed us to the 38th floor for check-in. The breakfast at the restaurant was standard, nothing particularly special, but not bad either. This stay was due to not being able to get tickets home, so we stayed at the Marriott for a night. If I visit Henan again in the future, I would definitely choose to stay here again!

Choosing this hotel for our Luoyang vacation was absolutely a hit, no regrets! The public hot spring baths and the infinity pool offered a fantastic experience. The butler service was excellent, and having everything from dining to accommodation and activities all in one place was super convenient. Highly recommend it for your travels and stay!

The stay experience was absolutely fantastic! I wasn't expecting much, given the super low price, and just booked it for its proximity to the Olympic Sports Center for a concert. But wow, was I surprised! This hotel easily rivals a 5-star property. It was clean, and the soundproofing was incredibly good. They even thoughtfully provided a fruit platter. The room was super quiet at night, and very spacious too. What's more, the hotel offered a special shuttle service to and from the concert, with staff diligently checking to make sure all concert-goers boarded. Honestly, it was incredible value for money. My first visit to Henan, and the kindness of the Henan people really touched me. This place deserves a genuine five-star review! (And I promise, I never give dishonest reviews, good or bad; every review I write is completely sincere and based on my actual experience.) I highly recommend this hotel, and I'll definitely choose it again if I'm ever back in Henan!

I brought my in-laws to Luoyang and we stayed at the Marriott Hotel for three consecutive nights. The hotel's breakfast was rich and varied; I personally was able to enjoy different types of breakfast every day. The Executive Lounge staff were warm and attentive, providing detailed information and even helping our family take photos together. The hotel's partnered travel photographer was very professional; they photographed us within the hotel, chatted happily and helped me relax to naturally capture beautiful pictures, which was a lot of fun. The hotel's Chinese restaurant also provided excellent service; when ordering, they advised us based on our group size. The dishes tasted great, and the dining environment was superb. Housekeeping and the overall stay experience were excellent.

I brought my parents to Dengfeng for a weekend trip to Mount Song, and after comparing several options, we chose Zhongzhou Huading Hotel. As soon as we entered, we were captivated by the hotel's traditional Chinese architectural style. It's a garden-style hotel that combines a restaurant and accommodation. Upon entering the lobby, a concierge immediately helped us with our luggage and directed us to the front desk for check-in. Ms. Jiao Luyu at the front desk assisted us, providing smiling service throughout. She answered all our questions, helped coordinate our rooms, and processed everything quickly and with a very friendly attitude. After dinner at the restaurant, we returned to our room, which offered views of the Songshan mountain range. Enjoying tea on the balcony was incredibly relaxing. The hotel is also very close to Mount Song and Shaolin Temple, making it convenient for driving. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Dengfeng.

From the personalized welcome note to the turn-down service, every touch made us feel genuinely valued. The concierge team was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help us plan our excursions and restaurant reservations. Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was a highlight—Breakfasts were abundant and delicious, with a variety of options to suit every taste. Great breakfast !!! The location was ideal—peaceful and quiet, the free golf car transportation offering easy access to nearby attractions while still feeling like a tranquil retreat. We’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, but Huanghe Guest hotel stands out as one of the very best. It’s the rare kind of place that leaves you planning your return before you’ve even checked out. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, beauty and quite place to stay on vacation.

The hotel has an elegant ambiance. The rooms are well-lit and very clean, and the bedding is soft, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The lobby is grand and beautiful, and the front desk staff are warm and patient, always quick to help resolve any issues. The location is also very convenient, close to all the scenic spots. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied.

I would highly recommend this hotel if you're planning to watch the ”Only Henan (只有河南·戏剧幻城)” show over two days. The hotel is just a 5–10 minute walk from the venue and also provides a shuttle bus service throughout the day, making it extremely convenient. One nice touch is that the hotel embraces the theme of the show. The lobby regularly plays the show's theme song, which helps extend the immersive experience even after you've left the theatre. The lobby and guest rooms are tastefully designed, modern, and appear relatively new. The overall ambiance feels premium and well thought out. The main downside is the price. The hotel is definitely on the expensive side, and in hindsight, I might consider staying a little further away to save on accommodation costs, especially if budget is a concern. Breakfast was decent, with a sufficient variety of options and satisfactory taste. Nothing particularly memorable, but no complaints either. The hotel also offers complimentary porridge every night. Unfortunately, this was quite underwhelming during my visit. They only served plain porridge, and it was completely gone within about 30 minutes. I'm not sure if it was restocked later, but it didn't feel like much of a benefit. Overall, a comfortable and well-designed hotel that excels in convenience and atmosphere, particularly for visitors attending the Only Henan show.

The overall environment is pretty good, and the breakfast at 68 is reasonably priced. The room had water and 4 complimentary drinks. The room itself was quite nice, and the staff were friendly. However, because the hotel is so large, finding the elevators was confusing. The map provided wasn't very clear. There should be more recognizable signs on the walls indicating room numbers and elevator directions. A concerning incident was when I couldn't find an elevator after walking around for a long time, so I decided to take the stairs down. To my surprise, the door on the first floor was locked. I had to go back up to the second floor to find an elevator. For safety, how can the bottom door of a fire escape be locked?
