ShuijiaohuanghouI booked this hotel for my parents, and they were absolutely delighted. It's conveniently located near all the major attractions, and getting around by taxi or subway is super easy. The service was top-notch, truly. I chose Christine after reading so many glowing reviews, and it definitely paid off! My parents couldn't stop praising the staff, saying every single employee they encountered was warm, friendly, and incredibly polite: from the lobby manager, concierge, and front desk, to the housekeeping staff, restaurant crew, and even the driver who took them to the station – every single one was just wonderful. Such a hotel culture and management level is truly impressive! On top of that, the breakfast and afternoon tea were incredibly rich and delicious. Next time we're in Luoyang, we're definitely staying here again!

Guest UserDecided to try out one of their unique room types. The room wasn't huge, but it was incredibly well-equipped. The little courtyard was so relaxing, and having a private hot spring tub was a real bonus! My child absolutely loved it. The butler was also fantastic, responding to messages 24/7 almost instantly. The front desk lady was very kind, and they even offered a pick-up and drop-off service. The staff member who drove us was handsome and had a great attitude – my husband even commented that his voice sounded like Wang Yibo's! Overall, a great experience and definitely worth checking out.

Guest UserThe location is good, not too far from anywhere, and the surroundings are relatively quiet. The room is spacious and not cramped, though the facilities are indeed old. It's clean, but some signs of wear and tear just can't be removed. Our room faced the building opposite, which was very close, so there was no view to speak of. The windows are sealed, but the air conditioning works. The meals are quite simple, and the price isn't high anyway. The young lady at the front desk and the cleaning staff were all very warm and attentive, especially the bellmen. They delivered takeout to our room tirelessly every day, without any delay. I have to specifically mention the shuttle service for the concert. On the first day, it was organized by room, which unfortunately led to long waiting times. On the second day, they took our feedback and changed the arrangement, which was very smooth. All the staff were enthusiastic and patient – thumbs up!

Guest UserTitle: Professional and Efficient Service, Special Thanks to Manager Li Manli
During our recent trip to Luoyang, we stayed at the Luoyang Marriott, and the overall impression of the hotel was one of grandeur and elegance. The public areas were clean and well-maintained, and the in-room amenities were excellent, making for a very comfortable stay.
However, what truly stood out during our visit was the exceptional service provided by Manager Li Manli. Her professionalism and problem-solving skills were outstanding. She was incredibly responsive to guest requests, handling issues swiftly and decisively. Her communication was always polite and appropriate, and her efficiency was remarkable. She demonstrated a proactive and thoughtful approach, consistently putting herself in the guests' shoes and resolving problems with meticulous attention to detail. She truly possesses the comprehensive qualities of an excellent manager.
Her dedication not only upheld the hotel's reputation but also significantly enhanced our positive perception of the Marriott brand. Employees like her, who are highly responsible, service-oriented, and efficient, are invaluable assets to any hotel. We sincerely hope the hotel recognizes her hard work and dedication with due commendation and acknowledgment.
When we return to Luoyang in the future, we will undoubtedly choose the Luoyang Marriott again.

I came from Xi'an to visit, mainly to see the Yellow River. The hotel was booked here. Overall, it was good, with a large area, good environment, friendly waiters, and considerate of the guests. I would like to praise Xiao Jing, the waiter on our floor, for being responsive. The fruit sent by the hotel was of good quality and delicious. Before leaving, they also sent Dragon Boat Festival sachets. There were also foot bathing facilities in the room. After walking for a day, it was very comfortable to soak. I tried to have breakfast as early as possible. If I was late, many things were gone, and the supplementary meals were not timely. In addition, there was no juice for breakfast, and the equipment was empty.
It is convenient to get on and off the highway here, there is no traffic jam, and it is very suitable for a stopover during a long journey

The hotel is very close to Shaolin Temple. However, it's split into several buildings, which makes getting around quite inconvenient, especially on a rainy, windy, and cold day when you're lugging luggage and trying to get to building #3 with an umbrella. It's really, really inconvenient. You have to walk to building #1 to get in and out, or stand by the roadside in the cold wind waiting for a car. The hygiene was okay, but the room didn't even have a fridge or a smart toilet, which honestly makes it fall short compared to other hotels.

I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time, highly recommended!

The overall environment is pretty good, and the breakfast at 68 is reasonably priced. The room had water and 4 complimentary drinks. The room itself was quite nice, and the staff were friendly. However, because the hotel is so large, finding the elevators was confusing. The map provided wasn't very clear. There should be more recognizable signs on the walls indicating room numbers and elevator directions. A concerning incident was when I couldn't find an elevator after walking around for a long time, so I decided to take the stairs down. To my surprise, the door on the first floor was locked. I had to go back up to the second floor to find an elevator. For safety, how can the bottom door of a fire escape be locked?

This hotel seems to be a state-owned, old-fashioned luxury hotel with a rather retro decor. The facilities are decent, and the service is good. Communication was very smooth, and a key point for us was that they provided a bed rail for our little one.
I'd like to extend a special thank you to Ms. Jia Qingxia from Housekeeping. She helped us coordinate a room change in the evening. With her assistance, we were able to rearrange the bed and the sofa/coffee table, and she expertly installed and secured the bed rail for us. This made our eight-month-old feel very safe and secure.
Thanks also to Supervisor Zhang and his team of drivers. The hotel's airport shuttle service is excellent. They helped us with our luggage when getting in and out of the car, and even lifted the stroller. They were also very helpful in answering questions about connecting flights to high-speed trains from a guest's perspective.
Kudos to these responsible and caring staff members! 👍

kassim dakhI stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions, and both were terrible experiences. The heating system does not shut off—the room turns into an oven, and the entire floor felt overheated. I couldn’t sleep at all and had to wake up several times during the night not knowing what to do.
The thermostat doesn’t work, so there is no way to control the temperature. During my first stay, the room didn’t even have a window; they brought in an external AC and later moved me. On my second stay, the room had a window, but it didn’t help—the room stayed extremely hot.
After two stays with the same issue, this is clearly a persistent problem. I will not be returning.
