AAnonymous UserWe recently stayed at Crowne Plaza Durrës and overall had a lovely experience. The staff were attentive, welcoming, and always helpful throughout our stay. The hotel itself was very clean and modern, and our room was spacious with a large bathroom and a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. Waking up to that sea view each morning was definitely a highlight. One feature we really enjoyed was the smart room controls. The room has touch consoles on the walls that control certain features, including the curtains. It was such a nice touch to wake up, press a button, and watch the curtains open to reveal the sea view. As the hotel is still very new, we appreciated that there may be a few snags to work through. During our stay, the lights came on by themselves early in the morning on two consecutive days, the fire alarm went off unexpectedly once, and the shower flooded part of the bathroom. None of these issues ruined our stay, and we didn’t really want to complain as it’s clear the hotel is still settling in and refining things. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and can see this becoming an excellent hotel once the initial teething problems are ironed out. The location, views, staff, and modern rooms made it a memorable visit.

GGuest UserWonderful hotel. We stayed from September 19 to September 30, 2024. We didn't want to leave. Upon arrival, it turned out that the room we booked was not available, and they upgraded our room category to the best - a two-room suite of more than 50 meters with a terrace also 50 meters - with sun loungers, a huge umbrella, a dining table and a small table with chairs. And no extra charge! Special thanks to the hotel management for this. The breakfast is very good. Everything is there. Fried eggs, omelettes, pastries, vegetables, fruits, hams, sausages, cheeses, sausages, baked zucchini and eggplants. Excellent coffee of all kinds from the coffee machine. You need to walk a little to the sea about 400-500 meters along a shady alley of thujas - it is pleasant to walk, it smells of pine needles and there is no scorching sun. A wonderful large sandy beach with sun loungers and umbrellas. At the reception they also give out towels or blankets for the beach/pool. Everything is free. The sea has a gentle entrance, it is quite shallow for a long time, but the water is always warm, even after the rain. The location is about 30 kilometers from Tirana and 30 kilometers from Durres. If you want to go see nature/sights, you will need to rent a car. There were 3 restaurants within walking distance: Gambero is the best. The food is purely Italian, and everywhere the same. Equally delicious. Fish, seafood, meat, pasta, pizza, salads. There is homemade wine. Local beer is delicious, although I am not a fan. There is also imported. There is also a restaurant in the hotel itself. The same, but the prices are more expensive. Sometimes it was not open. Shops. There are 3 shops: right around the corner from the hotel (Eco), in the neighboring village of Lura3 (ok) and ”on the dusty road” (the best, the richest selection - there are cheeses, fruits, pates, inexpensive wine, though Italian - local wines were not seen anywhere), you can go through the ”garbage forest”, but it is also very dirty there. I definitely recommend the hotel, it is probably one of the best in this country, if not the best. Good price/quality ratio.

GGuest UserGreat hotel that is right on the doorstep of the airport. Fabulous staff, free parking, great pool and facilities and the double room was superb. Thought the added suncream in the room was a great touch. The only dissapointment was the restaurant, overpriced and by far the worst meal we had in Albania but this shouldn't deter you from booking the hotel. 10/10 would reccomend 🙌

The hotel itself is lovely, and the comfort level is just amazing. The breakfast was so good, it even has an omelet station. I highly recommend this hotel what you are looking for a relaxing stay by the Albanian seashore.
