The hotel was clean and hygienic, and the room was tidy. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. Especially the somewhat heavier-set man at the front desk was very unfriendly and made me feel uncomfortable. It's a shame, because a friendly welcome makes a big difference. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Excellent hotel. The beds were really comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were perfectly adequate – not luxurious, but the room size and amenities were comprehensive. The hotel thoughtfully assigned me a room facing the inner courtyard. While it was a bit awkward that the hallways on both sides were clearly visible when the curtains were open, it was a trade-off for a peaceful rest without the noise of traffic from outside. The hotel breakfast was abundant; though not a huge variety, it had everything you could want, and the greenery throughout added a lovely touch. There are two floors of shops downstairs, not much to buy, but in this location, it’s a rare luxury. It’s a bit of a walk to the bustling bar streets and pedestrian areas, but still within walking distance. This hotel experience far surpassed the Marriott in Tirana; excellent value for money.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and kind. The room perfectly matched the photos and was very clean. We also tried the various meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and were not disappointed once. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to return soon.

The Grand Duka Hotel & Spa in Durrës truly made our stay special. From the moment we checked in, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The entire team was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms were modern, very clean, and well-maintained. We were particularly impressed with the spa area, which included a sauna, steam room, and a pleasant wellness ambiance. Fresh towels and water were always available, ensuring we felt completely comfortable. The massages offered were also very reasonably priced and a wonderful addition to the wellness facilities. The breakfast was outstanding – with a wide selection of fresh, high-quality products. It was the perfect start to our day. Special praise goes to the staff, who gave us many helpful tips for Durrës. Thanks to their recommendations, we discovered great restaurants and got to know the city much better. We also found the taxi service organized by the hotel to be very convenient. Communication was effortless via WhatsApp, and the costs could be easily settled on our hotel bill at the end. This made our entire trip planning much more relaxed. Overall, the Grand Duka Hotel & Spa offers a successful combination of comfort, wellness, hospitality, and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return anytime.
