I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and quality service. I recently had my second stay at The Host Hotel, and once again, it did not disappoint. Returning here felt like a great choice, as the overall experience was just as comfortable and convenient as I remembered. The room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to provide a relaxing stay. Everything was in good condition, and the layout made it easy to settle in quickly. The bed was comfortable, and the environment was quiet enough for a good night’s rest. In terms of facilities and amenities, the hotel offers everything needed for a hassle-free stay. From essential in-room features to the general hotel conveniences, everything was easily accessible and practical. It really made my trip smoother, especially since I already knew what to expect from my previous visit. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my second stay here and would definitely consider coming back again. A reliable and comfortable option for anyone visiting Ipoh.

Stay for 1 nights at this hotel. My room at second floor with window facing seafront. Enjoy the scenic sea view very much. Hotel easy access to bank shop eateries and ferry terminal. Only one small problems. Room have a lot of mosquitoes. The front office provide with spray repellent. Hope the hotel will spray first before customer check-in.

The hotel is super convenient, with lots of great food options nearby. It's also really close to Concubine Lane, Second Concubine Lane, and Third Concubine Lane. However, the air conditioning was a bit slow and not very strong. They only provide large towels, no small ones. On the plus side, the room was very clean, and it's definitely worth staying here again.

Cleanliness was below expectations as the bedsheets had stains. The location is good and convenient, close to the city area. Service was acceptable, but it was inconvenient that the hairdryer was not prepared in the room and had to be collected from the front desk. Amenities were decent with basic facilities provided, but it would be better if a refrigerator was included, in pantry also can but no. Overall, an average stay.

front desk crew need improve PR services. we asking can we cashless payment for the deposit, we do not have cash at that time. the way she answered for the deposit make us feels annoyed.she told us to pay as fast as we can. mcm la kita nak larii😂 dah bayarrr kot nk tdo situ. we came there at night n tired ok. she ok je klu nk explain elok2.

I have to be honest, this hostel is one of the best that you can find with this modest price, but excellent services. First enter, the counter was having a good chat with a chinese, teen girl who traveled alone in Malaysia. The counter, who is a girl immediately served me as I wanted to place my luggage here before exploring Ipoh . When i check in, around 2pm, (yeah i can check in before 3pm, this is a life saver), an uncle, who served me with care and gave me a tour with their amenities. The amenities were amazing. You can play guitar if you do as they provided at the resting area. You can have a relaxing, comforting hot bath with shampoo and body wash provided. The pillows and bed were cozy... The only thing i am unsatisfied is the attitude of the chinese traveler who sleeps beside me. I can hesr his whispers, saying rude words in chinese (maybe he is having a bad time in Ipoh i guess). The rest, is awesome. If you are looking for a cozy place to stay with home's warmth and modest price, Miner's house is for you.

I liked this hotel. There is daily cleaning ( which is unusual for budget friendly hotels in Malaysia), water, tea and coffee were refilled every day ( but upon check in I found only sugar and coffee creamer without tea or coffee). There is a kettle and a mini fridge. An iron and ironing board were provided on request. I like that the shower is separated by a glass partition, so the floor doesn't get wet, a hair dryer and toiletries are provided. There is a safe. My room was big but standard rooms are not big, Soundproofing can be improved, I could hear every sound from the corridor. There was a bit of chemical smell in the corridor. There is a 7/11 next door, KFC and Pizza Hut on the opposite side of the road, the central market is nearby. The main landmarks are about 10-15 minutes walk.

Please be reminded, this hotel only support self check in, i not realised when i do the booking, only noticed when i reach the hotel. So it took me sometime to contact CS for the check in procedure. The room is good enuff for business traveller. Best part is the this hotel quite during night time as its far from main road, compare to some other same range hotel.
