Anonymous UserThis was my third time staying at this hotel. This budget hotel has a good location in the Melaka town area, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and famous eateries.
The hotel decor and furnishings look rather dated, room was simple but comfortable, though the cleanliness could have been better. The Wi-Fi was not very stable, but the water pressure was great. A water dispenser is provided, and roadside parking is available.

nadaaprThis was a very short trip to Malacca, but luckily I found this hostel. It was very comfortable and the staff were incredibly kind. I would definitely stay here again if I ever get the chance to return to Malacca.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Red House by the Malacca River, where many tourists dine and chat by the riverside, enjoying the picturesque scenery! Every corner of the hotel is filled with art and warmth, making you feel incredibly welcome. It was truly a perfect stay.

Overall, the experience was acceptable
the ocation was convenient about a 10-15 minute ride to the city centre, which made getting around quite easy.
However, there were several issues during our stay
Cleanliness: We noticed some smallinsects on the floor. While it didn't significantly affect aur stay, it would be better if the rooms could be more thoroughly checked and cleaned.
Customer Service: All communication had to be done online through WhatsApp, as there was no face-to-face front desk service. This was quite unconventional and sometimes made things less convenient when we needed assistance urgently.
Room Equipment: One of the air conditioners in our room kept switching on and off by itself and wasn't functioning properly. Even more concerning, the hairdryer had a short circuit, produced a burning smell, and even sparked flames. This was a frightening experience, and although it was eventually replaced, waiting a full day for such a serious issue was very disappointing.

Freddy KA very clean European-style youth hostel, with very cute kittens downstairs. The air conditioning is sufficient, the location is convenient, the facilities are well maintained, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The whole environment is very clean, because you need to take off your shoes. The cat is very well behaved and cute, and the atmosphere is very warm. Have to take off your shoes when entering the door.
The hostel is chic and practically design, the accommodation was tidy and cozy with affordable price. Moreover, the spacious common area and separated Male/Female bathrooms, simple pantry with 3in1 coffee, tea bag, snacks, water dispenser and microwave oven. There are 3 cute & friendly cats in the hostel too. The public space design is not very interactive.
The capsules or boxes are comfortable. Have good locker system which uses card. The capsule pod was poor ventilation after cover by curtain as there is no mini fan and exhaust fan, towel not provided. After pulling the curtains and turning on the light, you can clearly see dust flying around. It is generally very clean, but the bed is relatively small
This dormitory hostel has strategic location and are good, small, noisy electronic lockers, privacy curtains don't bring that much privacy.
Staff don't seem to care a lot about what's happening and the staff are not that friendly. The mattress was comfortable. The lobby was clean and offered complimentary hot water and snacks, which was a nice touch.
There are no bath towels and slippers, and it costs RM5 to ask for a bath towel. No hot water for shower and 2in1 shampoo/body wash provided but rarely replenish. The bathroom and toilet have windows to the outside, so they are more ventilated, the space is large, and they are very comfortable to use. The shower head has a brass retro shape, which is super beautiful.
No deposit needed, easy to check in and check out. Location is strategic and near to major attractions, shopping malls and eateries within walking distance. But no lift and amenities. Have to climb up stairs and suitable for younger generations.

This small, Chinese-run guesthouse's biggest draw is its excellent location. It's just a short walk to numerous restaurants, shops, and Malacca's Old Town. However, the facilities are quite dated. The air conditioning in my first room kept leaking, so I had to switch rooms. The AC in the second room also didn't cool well, but I just put up with it. I figured all their rooms probably had similar issues, so changing again wouldn't make much difference. Even the bath towels were torn and frayed. Given the low price, I couldn't really be too critical. After all, you get what you pay for, haha!

lizy0874Less than 200 RMB for two nights, and breakfast included? Can't really complain, can I? My two-night stay was great, except for the lack of TV and broken Wi-Fi. Breakfast was simple but sufficient; the freshly made omelet was pretty good. Two slices of toast with butter, a cup of coffee, and two pieces of fruit – I was satisfied. In the evenings, there were some great food stalls right outside: that Indian bread with three dips that I later found delicious and cheap in Kuala Lumpur. Across the street, there was a char kway teow stall with a queue for 7 MYR. Further down, past the traffic lights in a small alley, you could find seafood like prawns, clams, and snails. A bit further, I recommend the wanton mee run by a father and daughter; right next to it was oyster omelet. And at the end of this street, there was even curry chicken bread and coffee shops, haha.

This is my second stay here. We booked a deluxe double room and got a ground-floor room right behind the front desk. The room wasn't huge, but it wasn't cramped either; there was still enough space to sit. There were plenty of outlets, the air conditioning worked well, and there was also a fan. The room was clean and smelled good, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. In the wardrobe, there were several hangers that seemed to have been left by previous guests. The bathroom provided soap and shampoo, and the water pressure was good. There was no drinking water in the room, but you could always get water from the dispenser behind the front desk. Tea and coffee were also available.

ZaoqidaiwangThe room wasn't huge, but it was very comfortable and had everything we needed, except for a TV. The hotel is very close to Jonker Street, so we even had time to do some last-minute shopping before checking out. When we left in the taxi, we encountered a Malay-speaking driver, and the hotel staff (a young guy) was incredibly helpful, assisting us with communication and resolving the issue!

Mei, ChangHad a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and extremely convenient. A pharmacy, 7-Eleven, bank, and many restaurants are all within walking distance. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the town center is only about 3–5 km away, making it easy to get around.
The staff were also very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a great place to stay for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended!
