For the price paid (approximately £65 for a double room) this was a good option for our one night stay. The exterior of the building seems to be undergoing some modifications with scaffolding in place. The interior carpets and corridors need a considerable refresh but despite this the actual room was clean and tidy with fresh bedding. The room had its own wc, shower and washbasin so all self contained. The mattress was comfortable. The only drawback for me was that the room was at the back of the hotel very close to a McDonalds drive thru which proved rather noisy even at 3 am.

I have used this hotel numerous times before travelling to france by ferry, i have to mention that the receptionist who works 3 through 11 is an outstanding associate, i hope ibis realise just how lucky they are to have this team member, i always travel with my 86 year old mother, and Tina makes us feel so welcome and that nothing is ever too much trouble. thank you Tina Accor are lucky to have you.

The building and rooms are pretty tired and starting to show their age, but it was clean and the staff was very nice and attentive.

Will be good if some refurbishment cold be done, especially on ventilation

The staff were very attentive and allowed us to check in early, They gave good advice on surrounding amenities, and were helpful throughout our stay. Although our room and shower room were was small, they were both clean and very well presented. The food in the pub was of a good standard and we were made to feel very welcome.

Friendly, lovely fresh breakfast in the morning made to feel very welcome live music in the bar on a Saturday night great blue blues band you could hear the bang quite clearly in the room but we were so tired. It didn’t matter if I hadn’t had my daughter I would’ve gone down and enjoyed the music.

Nice cosy rooms above a pleasant pub. It accepts dogs but didn't feel it was very dog friendly as no access for dogs to go for a wee, no dog bowls or anything dog related in the room even though the dog was booked in. Friendly staff and the food at the pub was tasty.

The place was clean and a good size for a family of six. It would be beneficial to have a bathmat in the tub, shower gel and improve the hot water in the bathroom as well. I would also suggest having shower gel in the bathroom. Thank you.
