3-Star Hotels in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia

1.Water temperature in the shower is inconsistent (alternates between hot and cold). 2.The shower drain is slow / not draining smoothly. 3.On the first day of check-in, found dirty water inside the electric kettle. 4. Toiletries were used up and not replenished. 5. Bed sheets and linens were not changed or tidied up during the 3-day stay. 6. Poor soundproofing (can frequently hear people walking and talking).

A great hotel! I was a little worried because of the low ratings, but the receptionist was very kind. The hotel has heating, and there's a decent restaurant diagonally opposite the hotel to the right. The hotel is also very close to the city hall, so there are plenty of food options. Photo 1 shows breakfast for two, which cost 90 rubles. We booked in advance and they delivered it directly to our room. The food was quite good and we enjoyed it.

Excellent location right next to the State Government building, with amazing views. There's a bus stop downstairs for the airport, though I accidentally went the wrong way. It only cost 45 rubles. The front desk staff speak excellent English. The heating and hot water in the room were very good, giving off an old-world hotel charm. Breakfast was quite simple, though.

I liked the hotel. It's in a good location, close to coffee shops, shops, and the central market. However, please note that there are no slippers or dental supplies; these can be purchased at the hotel for 100 rubles each. The hotel has a shared kitchen, which is very convenient. I liked the stylish renovation; it was done well.

We stayed in a room with two single beds, and the room and bathroom were very small! Our friends all booked rooms with two single beds, but their rooms and bathrooms were larger than ours – it seems to depend on luck when rooms are assigned! Looking at the hotel's room assignment map, rooms 1 and 2 are the larger rooms. There was no complimentary bottled water in the room, but there was a hot and cold water dispenser at the front desk and on each floor. The dispensers always had cold water, but the one on my floor didn't have hot water! Regarding the hotel's free Wi-Fi, the first method is to rely on the front desk staff to help you connect to the hotel Wi-Fi, but this only works on the front desk floor! The second method also relies on the front desk staff, but you need a local Russian mobile phone number to receive the hotel Wi-Fi authentication SMS, which allows you to use the hotel Wi-Fi in your room! There's no elevator, and we stayed on the third and fourth floors, making it difficult to move our luggage! There was an electric kettle in the room, a wall-mounted radiator, and another electric heater that you could plug in yourself. The bathroom didn't have heating or a heated towel rack, but the hot water and water pressure were sufficient. Breakfast is a buffet and quite good, with hot water, coffee, and tea also provided. The hotel is located near the Central Market, about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel reception is staffed 24 hours a day; they are helpful and can assist with booking taxis via an app. Even if there is a language barrier, they can use the app for translation.

All aspects are very general. But the price is here. Basically no one went in June. In fact, the public bathroom shower was okay, and I basically didn't wait. Don't live during the peak tourist season.

Great location, but I was surprised by the small building, nicknamed ”Mayachok,” which had a cramped staircase with a bathroom smell. The bathroom had no shower curtain, but there was a sign saying ”Do not pour water on the floor”—more for tourists from friendly China. Breakfast 🍳 was very good—a buffet with champagne and a delicious selection of dishes! 👍

I really like this hotel; the space everywhere is spacious, clean, simple, and elegant. My room had a row of large windows facing the Angara River right in front, and I could even open them since there were screens, which was fantastic. The breakfast ingredients were very fresh. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy at night with people playing instruments and singing by the river, but it should be much better with the windows closed, and even more so on rainy nights. If you're sensitive to noise, you could choose a room on the other side.

We were passing through and stayed for a full day without an overnight stay, as we had a late-night flight. The hotel is ideally located. It's simple, but it's easy enough to charge your phone, use a kettle, and has a TV. We booked a twin room, but only because it was the cheapest at 1800 rubles. It's practically next to Shanghai Market, 7 minutes from the central market. The nearest shopping centers are 200 meters away. We ate at the Yurt Cafe, and it's been delicious twice, especially the eggplant salad. The only negative about the hotel is that it was a little chilly, but that's because the heating hasn't been turned on yet, but we could have asked for a heater, but we didn't. The receptionist was very nice. Polite and friendly. You can buy noodles and drinks inside the hotel. For tea. Even though it was Monday in the area, it was impossible to rent a room or apartment for less than 2500 rubles through regular sites. And here, for 1800 rubles + the website discount. The price is a gift. We had no problems checking in. We usually used this app in Thailand for a week, and this is our first experience using it in Russia. We're very happy. 👍

Guest Beautiful hotel with a unique atmosphere. The main plus location is only 8 minutes away from the airport. At the same time, the rooms are perfectly silent, the sounds of the road or the neighbors are not disturbing at all.
