3-Star Hotels in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia

A great hotel! I was a little worried because of the low ratings, but the receptionist was very kind. The hotel has heating, and there's a decent restaurant diagonally opposite the hotel to the right. The hotel is also very close to the city hall, so there are plenty of food options. Photo 1 shows breakfast for two, which cost 90 rubles. We booked in advance and they delivered it directly to our room. The food was quite good and we enjoyed it.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with both buses and marshrutkas stopping right in front. There's no need to call a taxi; you can simply take the #80 bus to the airport. After shopping at the Central Market, I found it very helpful to catch the #425 marshrutka, which also stops directly outside the hotel. From Kirov Square, near the hotel, you can even take a tram that goes all the way to the 130 Kvartal area. Kirov Square also features a charming log cabin that serves as a tourist information center. Right next door to the hotel, to the north, there's a 24-hour supermarket, which was perfect for picking up souvenirs.

The location is excellent, with a direct shuttle from the airport. The environment is clean, with a kitchen and hot water. The only problem is there's no front desk staff; it's all self-service, which might be difficult for those who don't speak Russian. Yesterday afternoon, I arrived but couldn't get in. The phone number left at the door didn't work, and no one answered the doorbell. It was freezing cold, and I asked two strangers, but neither of them understood English. A third person finally helped me call the hotel and explain that I needed a password to open the door. Even connecting to the Wi-Fi was extremely difficult; I couldn't understand a word of Russian. Later that evening, a front desk staff member came to register my information. He spoke English and finally got the Wi-Fi working. After that, he left. When I checked out at 10 am the next day, no one was there.

Excellent! The front desk staff speaks Chinese, which is very helpful. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the location is fantastic, right across from Lake Baikal. It has two buildings, a main building and an annex. You can still catch a glimpse of Lake Baikal from the annex as well.

Although the room was small and not new, it had all the necessary facilities, and the bedding was clean and hygienic. Across the road from the hotel entrance is the gently flowing Angara River, with many water birds. You can find coffee shops and other amenities nearby, and they are not expensive. The hotel's exterior is a typical Brezhnev-era Soviet-style building. I was very touched by the free luggage storage, as it's very inconvenient to drag luggage around on my two-day trip to Olkhon Island, and both the minivan and other transportation options charge for it.

We stayed in a room with two single beds, and the room and bathroom were very small! Our friends all booked rooms with two single beds, but their rooms and bathrooms were larger than ours – it seems to depend on luck when rooms are assigned! Looking at the hotel's room assignment map, rooms 1 and 2 are the larger rooms. There was no complimentary bottled water in the room, but there was a hot and cold water dispenser at the front desk and on each floor. The dispensers always had cold water, but the one on my floor didn't have hot water! Regarding the hotel's free Wi-Fi, the first method is to rely on the front desk staff to help you connect to the hotel Wi-Fi, but this only works on the front desk floor! The second method also relies on the front desk staff, but you need a local Russian mobile phone number to receive the hotel Wi-Fi authentication SMS, which allows you to use the hotel Wi-Fi in your room! There's no elevator, and we stayed on the third and fourth floors, making it difficult to move our luggage! There was an electric kettle in the room, a wall-mounted radiator, and another electric heater that you could plug in yourself. The bathroom didn't have heating or a heated towel rack, but the hot water and water pressure were sufficient. Breakfast is a buffet and quite good, with hot water, coffee, and tea also provided. The hotel is located near the Central Market, about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel reception is staffed 24 hours a day; they are helpful and can assist with booking taxis via an app. Even if there is a language barrier, they can use the app for translation.

The homestay is very close to the Baikal Lake and the train station, a short walk away, and a short walk from the town center, but relatively far away. The facilities of the homestay are quite complete, but the rooms are small, the beds are small, and the bathrooms are public. The landlord looked fierce and spoke very loudly, but he was very enthusiastic. My companion and I arrived at the hotel at 7 o'clock in the morning. The companion had a fever and was uncomfortable. The landlord checked in for us directly at 7 o'clock in the morning. He was very enthusiastic. There are flowers and swings in the yard of the hotel, and the environment is beautiful.

Hotel is modern and stylish. Renovation is expensive, everything functions without a break required for accommodation in the room is available. Bed is very comfortable, bedding high quality. Angara River is close, you can walk on the shore. We and my spouse very much liked the hotel. Very recommended to stay. The host of the hotel is very thankful for the care of the residents and the aesthetics of their possession!!!

Initially, I was checked into an apartment at a different address because the one at Deputatskaya, 87/4 was occupied. But literally half an hour later, it became available, and oh, miracle! I was lucky enough to move in there. I immediately loved the interior, the comfortable bed, the nice kitchen area, and the clean bathroom. The two windows on one side provide great light, and there's a beautiful view from the balcony of blue spruces and the Angara River. As a gift, there was a bottle of water and two packets of porridge, plus packaged tea. In the bathroom, there was shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and a washing machine – which is great if you need to freshen up your clothes. I was able to get some quality rest after a long journey, for which I am sincerely grateful to the studio owner and the very pleasant Maria, who quickly and meticulously cleaned everything up! If I need to stay in Irkutsk again in the future, I know who to contact now. I highly recommend it; it's great here!

A very cozy hotel. It's just 11 stops from the airport by taking bus number 4. The receptionists all speak English. The location is excellent; it's a 10-15 minute walk to the three major churches and square, Block 130, and the Central Market. The breakfast is also plentiful. I booked a triple room, which felt like home. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Irkutsk!
