3-Star Hotels in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia

1.Water temperature in the shower is inconsistent (alternates between hot and cold). 2.The shower drain is slow / not draining smoothly. 3.On the first day of check-in, found dirty water inside the electric kettle. 4. Toiletries were used up and not replenished. 5. Bed sheets and linens were not changed or tidied up during the 3-day stay. 6. Poor soundproofing (can frequently hear people walking and talking).

The room was relatively clean, but small. It was easy to find by taxi, and there's a delicious Russian restaurant next door (Figure 2). It's close to attractions and the city center, and the neighborhood is quiet. It's best to ask for a ground-floor room when checking in, as there will be a lot of pedestrian traffic. The hotel can provide proof of residency.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with both buses and marshrutkas stopping right in front. There's no need to call a taxi; you can simply take the #80 bus to the airport. After shopping at the Central Market, I found it very helpful to catch the #425 marshrutka, which also stops directly outside the hotel. From Kirov Square, near the hotel, you can even take a tram that goes all the way to the 130 Kvartal area. Kirov Square also features a charming log cabin that serves as a tourist information center. Right next door to the hotel, to the north, there's a 24-hour supermarket, which was perfect for picking up souvenirs.

We stayed for a couple of hours between flights. The room was right by the entrance, it was cool, and smelled strongly of cigarettes. We could also hear someone ringing the doorbell and entering and exiting the hotel.

Excellent! The front desk staff speaks Chinese, which is very helpful. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the location is fantastic, right across from Lake Baikal. It has two buildings, a main building and an annex. You can still catch a glimpse of Lake Baikal from the annex as well.

We stayed in a room with two single beds, and the room and bathroom were very small! Our friends all booked rooms with two single beds, but their rooms and bathrooms were larger than ours – it seems to depend on luck when rooms are assigned! Looking at the hotel's room assignment map, rooms 1 and 2 are the larger rooms. There was no complimentary bottled water in the room, but there was a hot and cold water dispenser at the front desk and on each floor. The dispensers always had cold water, but the one on my floor didn't have hot water! Regarding the hotel's free Wi-Fi, the first method is to rely on the front desk staff to help you connect to the hotel Wi-Fi, but this only works on the front desk floor! The second method also relies on the front desk staff, but you need a local Russian mobile phone number to receive the hotel Wi-Fi authentication SMS, which allows you to use the hotel Wi-Fi in your room! There's no elevator, and we stayed on the third and fourth floors, making it difficult to move our luggage! There was an electric kettle in the room, a wall-mounted radiator, and another electric heater that you could plug in yourself. The bathroom didn't have heating or a heated towel rack, but the hot water and water pressure were sufficient. Breakfast is a buffet and quite good, with hot water, coffee, and tea also provided. The hotel is located near the Central Market, about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel reception is staffed 24 hours a day; they are helpful and can assist with booking taxis via an app. Even if there is a language barrier, they can use the app for translation.

The homestay is very close to the Baikal Lake and the train station, a short walk away, and a short walk from the town center, but relatively far away. The facilities of the homestay are quite complete, but the rooms are small, the beds are small, and the bathrooms are public. The landlord looked fierce and spoke very loudly, but he was very enthusiastic. My companion and I arrived at the hotel at 7 o'clock in the morning. The companion had a fever and was uncomfortable. The landlord checked in for us directly at 7 o'clock in the morning. He was very enthusiastic. There are flowers and swings in the yard of the hotel, and the environment is beautiful.

The hotel's facilities are perfect, the disadvantage is that there is no elevator, the room is a bit small, but the environment is good and the price is very high. This hotel is upstairs in Harat's pub. Harat's pub is a Russian chain bar. Our stay is at the bar front desk. The bar is Irish style and the atmosphere is very good. The staff is very warm. There are restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel, and there are bus stops within a few steps. Overall very convenient.

Stayed for 3 nights. Not only was there no cleaning service, but I even had to get my own toilet paper. The itinerary was ridiculous, and no one spoke English or Chinese. The hotel offered good value for money. However, the hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, right by the river, with amazing sunsets. With a late-night flight, I was able to check out at 12 PM and still sleep on the sofa downstairs and eat takeout without being disturbed. The bed was incredibly bad, squeaking with every movement, but it did have a bathtub. There's a high-end restaurant on the ground floor, and the prices aren't too expensive. There's also a travel agency that I didn't get to interact with, but it seems like a good option for arranging tours. I only found out on the last day that there are several quiet places within a 2-hour drive, suitable for hiking, beaches, and forests. If you have 4-5 days and a group, you can climb the nearby mountains. You can also arrange canoeing on Lake Baikal or horseback riding.

Very clean and warm, super quiet, and a lot of space. The facilities are complete, there is a convenience store in the community downstairs, the neighbors are very warm and friendly, the invincible window view is far from the Angara River, and it is also very close to the airport. Exotic, home and freedom are at the same time. If you have the opportunity to go again, you will book here.
